"Don't know." said Riolu. "She's really nice, renting it to me for 10 Poke a month," she said. "...Please keep the fact I used to be an outlaw secret...I honestly never went to jail for it...I'm afraid they might still be after me back home..." she explained. "Kangaskhan knows, she trusts me that I'm turning my life around," she continued. "But I don't want others to know...not till I can repay the debt I owed by my actions." she explained. "I don't want to go to jail...at least until I've worked off my debt my way...then I swear, I'll turn myself in if they're still after me."

Buizel shook his head and said "I won't let you turn yourself in. I will pay them back and get your name cleared if that is what has to be done but they are not taking my only friend away from me. I won't tell another living soul about what you have done either. Cross my heart and hope to die. The only time I will tell 'anyone' is when you tell me too. Other than that, then I will keep it between us. The same goes for you too. I know they're still after me back home." He looked around and asked "Is there another bed? I know it's kind of small but I only see one bed and I don't want to intrude."

"Yeah." said Riolu, the bed being straw, that was just Pokemon beds. She took him to a spare room with a bed in it, not much else. "Sorry, wasn't planning on having company for awhile..." she said, embaressed to have such a poor guest room. "Plus I've been busy trying to find a partner to be an Explorer with, and Kangaskhan said that she'd rent me a bigger place once I did, for part of my Explorer earnings, about 10%, which is plenty fair, afterall, she's providing the base."

Buizel smiled and said "I'll give her 10% as well and gifts every now and then if she would actually be that kind to us. I have a question though. Would we still have this house too, though?" He went over and laid down but didn't go to sleep.

"No, we move to a bigger better one." said Riolu. "This is all I could afford with what I'm able to scrap together with odd jobs, and even then, she reduced the price like four times because she knew I was having trouble." she said. "...Maybe I should open up more to her and let her be my friend...I think she really wants to be...she's a very motherly Pokemon." she explained, smiling. "She's just one of those people that make you feel really safe...maybe that's why I've been resisting letting her in."

Buizel nodded his head and said "Good night. Thanks for all that you have done for me today. You are the best friend a guy could ask for." He went over to the bed, got in, and closed his eyes. He waited for her to leave the room and go to sleep before he does something else.

Riolu curled up on her bed, but not before saying a prayer. "Thank you for anwsering my prayers yet again...this time for a true friend...amen..." she finished, unknowing loud enough for Buizel to hear. She curled up in her bed and fell into the best sleep she'd had in a long time.

Buizel pondered over what he heard and walked over to Riolu. He walked up to her and curled up next to her bed just to be near her. Before he fell asleep, he said "I love you, Riolu." He just wanted to know if she would respond in any way.

Riolu seemed to smile in her sleep, though she didn't realize what he'd said. She had already grown attached to him in some way.
OOC: Skip?

Buizel smiled and fell asleep, right there curled up beside Riolu's bed.
OOC: Yep.

Riolu yawned, waking up the next morning. She jumpped when she found him next to her...but wasn't mad, she just chalked it up to him having slept walked or something...and it kinda made her feel safe. She got up and went to the kitchen, beginning to make breakfest.

Buizel got up to the good smell of morning cooking, just like his mother used to do when he was still a kid. He walked to where the smell was coming from and seen Riolu cooking breakfast. He smiled and asked politely "What are you making?"

"For me, becon and pancakes, for you, you'll need to tell me what you like first." said Riolu, flipping a pancake in the pan. "So...how'd you...you know, end up next to me?" she asked, blushing a little. "I'm not mad, just curious...I kinda liked it...made me feel safe."

Buizel blushed and said "I went to bed after you did if that says anything. I just wanted to be near my friend. It's just so unreal that I finally have a true friend that will never leave me. Jirachi must have been listening to my prayers because he granted my one and only wish. I want the same thing you are having, no bacon though."

Riolu froze, barely managing to snap out in time to catch a pancake she flipped. "That...that was your wish too?" she asked. "I've been praying for the exact same thing, Buizel." she explained, smiling. She then got him a pancake being made. "...I had the best sleep I've had since...well you know..." she said, gently touching her neck scar. "Thank you for that...I've not felt this well rested for years."
