Cynder thought about it, how would she have reacted? "Come to think about it, it's kinda impossible to figure out," she said. "I mean...I'd not have been put through everything I was were," she continued. "It's hard to tell how I'd have been if I'd been the one Raised by Dragonflies in a swamp...and Sparx's sister."

Sparx looked slightly startled. "Wait, you be my sister? It was bad enough Spyro pinning me to the ground with his tail on occasion, you've got a metal blade attached to yours!"

Cynder suddenly looked saddened, looking at her tail blade. "Sparx...no I wouldn't have..." she said. "This tail blade isn't natural...nether are my wing ones..." she said, revealing something she'd never mentioned to Spyro or Sparx before, and looking quite upset at the memory, as if it was particularally awful.

"No Spyro...I wasn't corrupted when they did it..." said Cynder. "I was corrupted when I was three...when I was two they..." she started, looking upset. "They tore out my real claws and tail tip, then forged these blades directly to my bones from a magic metal that will grow along with me..." she explained, clearly disturbed by the memory. "...I was conscious the whole time...if I lost consciousness, they'd stop and wake me up before continueing...they made me feel every second of it..." she said, the memory sending tears down her cheek. It was so tramatic for the simple reason she was just a little girl when it happened...it was the worst thing to happen to her before her corruption.

Cynder nodded. "And I was just a little kid...I was so scared..." she said, remembering. "Gaul had me chained down, then tore out my spikes...the only medical thing about it was stopping the bleeding so I wouldn't bleed to death...barely," she said, the memory vivid in her mind. "Then next thing I know, molds were put in my wings and the wounds held open so they could pour hot metal into it..." she said, clearly getting more upset as she talked. "...I can't even explain what it felt like...I had to watch my wings blister as it happened, I begged them to stop, but all that got me was a slap in the face...I passed out like four times overall, each time they just got me awake and started exactly were they left off..." she explained, choking back a sob. "...I wish I could explain it better...but that's the only way I can..."

Cynder smiled, laying down next to him. "Spyro...thank you for giving me my life back...if it weren't for you, I'd probably be dead now...we all would be..." she said. "Because of you, I have a life...I'll never forget that..." she said, happy to have him. "...I love you, Spyro," she said, smiling and giving him a loving nuzzle.

Cynder smiled, laying her head on his back, Sparx laying down on a small hamic set up for him. "Good night, Spyro..." she said, drifting into sleep herself.

OOC: Should we skip?

Spyro smiled faintly and murmured another faint good-night before surrendering to sleep.

ooc: Yeah

OOC: Yeah, good point.

"Spyro," called a voice, Spyro's mind awakening in a place he knew very well, the place the Chronicler helpped him relearn his powers. The voice would seem familure, but it wasn't the Chronicler he knew already. "I'm sure this place is familure to you...but likewise, something with which you're not familure is about to transpire, something that may be your most deadly challenge to date."

ooc: Should I make Spyro awake startled, or have him question what Ignitus just said?

OOC: Questioning.

Spyro was confused, just what exactly did the Chronicler mean? "What do you mean? Why am I here? W-Why do you seem so...Different, yet familiar?" He asked. The confusion was building within him with every passing minute.

ooc: Gah, sorry if that post seemed a bit...Crappy? I'm just a bit tired, since it's 2:43am right now I'd best be heading off to bed soon.

OOC: It's fine.

"Well Spyro, I'm the replacement for the old Chronicler, he retired when you restored the world." explained the Chronicler. "An ancient evil is returning, the Naga are coming back." he explained, showing images of snake-like humaniods. "When you awake, you shall face this new foe...afterwards, you and Cynder must seek me out on White Isle, there I will tell you what you must do."
