Gaul was staggered back by the barrage of attacks and snarled, jumpping up into the air several times, each time coming down with both swords pointed down trying to strike one of the Smashers.

Spyro groaned, making it back stage, he'd endured a great deal of damage when Cynder attacked him. He looked around the items, trying to find something to heal himself. He finally knocked over a trait, finding a crystal from his world inside, which he used to heal himself. "That's better." he said, looking around and finding some items. He ran out and threw Link a Beam Sword and the Star Fox group a pair of Ray Guns.

"Alright, can someone get those guns and fire at Cynder?" asked Samus, managing to stay on the Black Dragon's tail.

Yoshi's eyes lit up with excitement as he started to squeal with glee, bouncing from one foot to the other. "Yavshi! Yavshi!"

"Oh no you don't! I'll take control of that, Captain," replied Shiek, quickly dashing to the main controls before Yoshi could do any damage.

Yoshi drooped in dissapointment.

"Sorry, Yoshi, but this isn't the time to be trigger-happy," she told him. She skillfully directed the turret into possition and smartly fired a few well-aimed shots at the unprotected joint of Cynder's right wing. "That should slow her down a bit," she murmured. "Requesting permision to continue fire!"

Link tucked and rolled, avoiding the mutant's dual swords, barely, but the blade of one still grazed his arm. "Guah!!!" he grunted. He quickly spotted the beam sword, catching it with his good arm. While Gual was still distracted, he quickly tore a piece of cloth with his teeth and bandaged his arm before dashing into the fray again, dual swords in hand.

"Hoiyaaahh!!!" he cried, leaping into the air as he delivered his spin attack, rotating like a deadly crazed top.

Midna, now stationed on the ground, gathered energy before releasing her hair in harpoon form towards the beast.

Gaul was forced back further, then got a flying headbutt from Spyro from behind. He growled and did another diving stab at the purple dragon, only to be dodged and his swords to get stuck.

"Now everyone!" called Spyro, beginning to assault Gaul himself.

Cynder roared in suprise at the attack, spinning around. "Stupid heroes, still trying to save this pitiful world." she growled. She then blasted the ship with Shadow Fire.

Samus managed to keep the ship in the air, but sparks flew from the control panels. "We can't take another hit like that!"

Gaul was bombarded severely and launched back into a wall, leaving his swords lodged in the ground. He got back up, throwing off his armor and extending two blades from his gauntlets.

"Uh oh, now he's mad!" said Spyro, dodging a green laser beam from Gaul's crystal eye.

Samus dodged another blast. "I don't think this ship is equiped to deal with Cynder, she's even stronger than the last time!"

Cynder roared. "I don't have time for you, Wyverns! Dark Knights! Handle them!" she ordered, Wyverns with knight-like entities on their backs, their colors the same as the Dark Emperor's. She flew off as they flew by, trying to slash the ship.

"Oh great! She has underlings!" Zelda grunted through clenched jaws, fully entangled in the spewing wires as she used her mouth as an extra hand. "And got it! Samus, that should patch things up, for now anyways; hopefully long enough for us to escape. Yoshi, good job with the guns; keep it up. Looks like I'll have to deal with those reptilean vermin. Take care not to shoot me! Does anyone have a tracking device? It might come in handy." She quickly transformed into Shiek as she waited for a responce from their leader.

Yoshi's eyes narrowed into wickedly mischievious slits. "Geheheheheheh!!! Agin!" he chuckled as he tilted the joystick forward and held down the trigger, unleashing a merciless volly.

Shiek blinked; in the split second inbetween, several black warriors had been dismounted, plummeting through the thin atmosphere to their deaths. But as successful as the trigger-happy lizard was, it didn't even create a dent in the mass's numbers. The cockpit rocked as thirty knights dismounted onto the hood. "Aargh! I can't wait any longer!" she cried, rushing out the door. "Don't forget the tracking device!" she yelled over her shoulder.

She braced herself for the sudden gust of wind that would penetrated her thin body, but even still, she felt herself being pushed back a few feet. She quickly pulled out her chain and lassoed a Wyvern around its horn, allowing herself to be yanked into the air before deciding to release its hold, kicking out towards the clunky suits of armor as she sailed above their heads and landed onto the ship once again. The chain danced through the air as a cat-o-nine-tails.

"Oh, Mario!" Peach exlcaimed dreamily. "Where have you been, silly! We had to start the party without you!"

Midna grunted. "Only you could get away with such a lame excuse," she grumbled. She quickly gathered her hands together and quickly unleashed a small, electrified particle of orange-colored energy. "Puppet," she explained, when Link cast a suspicious glance in her direction. She tucked and rolled, narrowly avoiding the lazer from the overgrown ape.

"New skill?" Link called as he raised his shield before hurling his boomerang at the monster's crystal eye.

"Just something I've been working on; let's see if it works!" she shouted back, deflecting some scattered debree with her hair. "Hey, watch it!" she snapped.

"Sorry," Link grunted.

Peach casually raised a hapless toad in front of her face to protect herself from the scattered chunks of earth.

"Spyro," Link yelled above the mayhem. "How did you and- well anyways, how was this guy defeated last time?"

Suddenly, a detached energized blade tore through the horde, blowing a large number to nothingness. A bullet train-like machine flew over the gunship, tracks appearing in front and behind it. Kamen Rider Den-O leapt off and landed on the Gunship. "Ori Sanjou!" he yelled, taking his pose, before swing his sword twice more, striking down a few more before it returned to the hilt. "You all started the fighting without me!"

"You're late Den-O!" yelled Samus.

Spyro looked saddened. "I got turned evil and turned him to stone, then shattered him in cold blood." recounted the purple dragon soloemly.

Gaul was hurt but not controled by the attack, due to being a boss. He spun around, generating a tornado around him.

"So you're Den-O, huh?" Shiek gasped, temperarily winded from being thrown from a Wyvern. "Well, it's about time," she chuckled from underneath her mask. "In that case..." Shiek quickly transformed into her Zelda form. "I can worry less about stealth and concentrate on backing you up with my magic."

She leaped to a higher spot with a better vantage point, quickly scanning the horizon. Red light sped rapidly from between her gloved hands, quickly disapearing into the black mass. An explosion of fire appeared moments after; Zelda allowed herself a satisfactory smirk.

Inside the cockpit, Yoshi's lazers continued to meet their marks, but much to his dismay, they didn't even seem to cause a dent in the numbers. "Ya fooshu!" he exclaimed, pounding his rubbery fists against the council in frustration.

Clanging metal footsteps sounded behind the Hyrulian princess; blue reflective light encircled Zelda as she whirled around to face her advisaries.

Midna clicked her tongue irritably. "Well, it was worth a try," she grumbled. Her attention diverted towards the scene where Link and Spyro were fighting; the tornadic blades struck her unaware, sending her sailing. "Yaaaaaaahhhhh!"

Peach groaned to herself. "Please excuse me, dearest, but it looks like I have to save that brute again." With a sigh, she twirled into the air, snagging by the hair. A sheepish Midna hung limply over Peach's arm as the Mushroom Princess glided back towards the earth on her parisol. "Be more careful next time, 'kay?" she said in mock cheer.

The imp indignantly tore herself away at first opportunity. "Like I want to hear that from you! Heh!" And with that, she bounded towards the others.

Gaul's winds battered Link's shield, creating several irreversible dents on its face. "Ah, man! Looks like I'll be needing a new shield soon, again," he sighed. He quickly glanced over at the amethyst dragon, awkwardly clearing his throat. "Uh, look, we all make mistakes every now and again. The important thing is to not let them mold you into something you don't want to be. Sounds crazy, I know." He glanced over at Lucario as a blue orb whizzed by. Projectiles, eh? Worth a shot. While the great beast appeared to be distracted with the blue aura, he undid an armful of bombs, launching them at the unprotected flank.

"What I would like to know," Midna said darkly, "is how he returned from the grave."

Den-O nodded, jumpping up and kicking several of them down, slashing others. "This is fun...alright, Ryuu, you take over!"

"Gun Form!" announced his belt as he turned to his Gun Form.

"Hello Dragons! Mind if I defeat you now?" asked Den-O, spinning around and pointing at them. "Can't hear you!" he called, shooting down several.

"Den-O has multiple entities sharing the same body, this is his Gun Form, the entity controling it is Ryuutaros," explained Samus. "The one from his Sword Form is Momotaros."

OOC: Just to explain, while he can use special moves, his taunts also change his form.

Gaul finally stopped spinning and lashed out with his blade gauntlets.

Spyro narrowly evaded being slashed and returned fire with his flame breath, only to be punched and knocked back in reply.

"It'd work, but probably be overkill," said Spyro. "One Final Smash should do it." he said, flying up and blasting Gaul's legs with Ice, freezing them to the ground. "Alright, now!"
