Rashka's stomach began to growl. She was famished. Rashka rose to her paws as the slight movement of a bush caught her eye. Rashka inhaled the air deeply. The sweet scent of rabbit filled her twitching wet nose. The careless rabbit hopped out of the bush. This was the biggest rabbit Rashka had ever seen. She couldn't resist crouching low to the ground and crawling towards it. Ten yards away from the rabbit Rashka saw it tense. It had caught sight of her. Rashka leaped up and sprinted after the rabbit. Although it was big and plump it was also very fast. What Rashka had not realized was the rabbit was heading straight towards Saber's territory. She was so hungry she didn't realize it.

Rashka gave a final long bound then she leaped in the air and her jaws closed on the rabbits back. Rashka wagged her tail. This was the best rabbit she had eaten by far. Rashka lyed down and began eating the rabbit slowly, wanting to savor it. Then a sudden wind direction brought the scent of Saber to her. She was in Saber's territory, she was far in it. For the chase with the rabbit lasted longer than she had known. Rashka stiffened and quietly sniffed the air. She smelled two Sabers close by. She recongnized the omegas scent. This is the time when Rashka regretted being mean to the little omega. Rashka began slowly backing up. She hated to leave the fresh tasty rabbit but she knew that if she had brought it with her the Sabers would easily pick up on her trail, if not her's then they would follow the rabbits sweet-smelling scent. Rashka froze as she heard a twig snap nearby.

Yaniek whirled her head towards the general direction of the intruder, inhailing deeply. "Spirit Wolf!" she hissed. "And it stole our prey! Yaaaargh!" Without waiting for a responce, the warrior quickly launched herself into full speed as she followed the fresh scent in hot pursuit.

Aurora's paws quickly scrambled after the crazed Saber, but as the scent became stronger, so did the feeling of dread in her belly. Oh, no... "L-look! There's the hare! I'll sneak around the other way and see if we can ambush it," she gasped, struggling to supply her lungs with enough oxygen. Yaniek grunted in reply as she continued to blaze her trail through the shrubbery.

The young omega heaved a sigh of relief before carving her own trail, at speeds much swifter than even the warrior had traveled before. Within moments, she thought she could spot the wolf's white pelt and distinctive black point of a tail, with no sign of her clan mate's scent. Unfortunately, her hind paw struck against a firmly imbedded rock, sending her sliding down the the wooded slope she traveled upon in an avalance of dew-soaked leaves. In the next instant, she found herself staring up at an upside down wolf for the second time that day. "Hi there! Didn't expect to see you so soon!" she rasped cheerfully, hacking out an acorn kernal that was wedged in her throat. "Look, you'd better get out of here before my sister gets here. Just thought that I'd warn you, but I'm guessing you already knew, judging by the rabbit scrap we ran across," she added in a lower tone. "Seriously! Didn't you know that wasting prey is worse taboo?" she teased in a choked whisper.

Rashka looked at the little omega. She tilted her head, wondering why she was being so nice to her after she had been so mean to her. Rashka quickly nudged the rabbit towards the omega and said queitly, "You can have it, pretend like you caught it. And why are you being so nice to me? After i was so mean to you." Rashka's facial expression changed from confused to worried as she heard the sound of a Saber crashing through the trees. Rashka quickly pushed herself to her paws and turned to make a run for it but it was to late. The saber was already in sight. Rashka didn't know if she should turn and run and possibly endure a punishment for giving up that easily, or worse even, getting her rank as a fighter stripped from her. Rashka made her decision to late as the Saber was only ten yards away from her. Rashka's muscles tensed as she prepared herself for a blow from the Saber.

Clover got up out of the pile of leaves and his stomach began to growl. He sniffed the air and smelled a freshly killed rabbit. None of his friends had killed a rabbit. He figured it was probably one of the other pack members and thought they might share some of it with him and his mini pack. "Hey guys, you smell that rabbit?" he said nodding in the direction of where the rabbit (and Rashka and the two Sabers) were, not realizing that the other Spirit-wolf wasnt alone with the carcass.

"Race you guys to it!" Micky said jumping about, his black fur fluffing out a bit.

"Youre on!" Clover, Joe, and Kintu said together, laughing about saying it at the same time.

"Umm...guys ther-" Nikki began to warn them about the sent of Saber when Kintu cut her off.

"Dont be such a fuddy duddy Nikki! Lets just, On your marks, get set,....GO!" He yelled as they bolted tword the sent of the rabbit.

They ran as fast as they could, laughing and joking all the way. When they stumbled into the area where the rabbit carcass was, they realized that Rashka, the Spirit-wolf who killed the rabbit, wasnt alone. Two Sabers were standing there, one looked concerned, the other, vicious. Clover yipped and halted to a stop, along with the other pups. "W-what are you two kittens doing on our land?!" he asked gathering his courage. He was scared, but didnt want the other pups think that the future alpha of the pack was weak.

Fire was keeping an eye on Rashka because he scented her go into the Saber's territory and was worried for her safety due to the fact that he loved his pack to death and would die for any of them in a heartbeat. When he spotted the pups were down there with Rashka and the two sabers he couldn't resist but to go down to protect the pups and try to protect Rashka as well but his main concern was the future alpha of the pack. He looked down at Clover and said "This isn't our territory. You should be better at knowing where you're at than this. You put all of the pups in danger, Clover, and it's entirely your fault!" He looked at the sabers and said "Leave us alone, sabers, or suffocate on your own ashes!"

Rashka stood in front of the pups, next to Fire. She looked at fire and said, "No it's not Clover's fault, its mine." Rasha then growled loudly at the vicious Saber, "Stay away from the pups. No one needs to get hurt here." Rashka's tail stuck straight out and her hackles raised. She watched the bigger Saber's every move, everytime it tryed to take a step forward Rashka growled threateningly. Rashka would risk her live for the pups and Fire, she put their lives before hers. Rashka knew that if they got hurt it would be there fault. She was the one who was stupid enough to not smell the Saber's scent and come wandering in to their territory.

Yaniek's ears flattened in disgust. "Like I'd lay a claw on your defenseless pipsqueaks, pixie-mutts!" she growled in irritation. "Come back in two hundred years and then you can threaten me about those pups! Where's the sport in massacring the innocent? And while I'm at it, last time I checked, I was defending Saber borders, which is perfectly in my rights, so it'll have to be you who leaves!" She bared her rather impressive hind teeth, adding emphesis.

Aurora shrank further away awkwardly. But that hasn't stopped Sabers in the past, she wanted to say. Baring your fangs isn't going to help you any, not against a beta. Though she knew that her older sister's foul mood was caused by being accused for wanting to harm the pups, she couldn't exactly explain this to the trespassers, loyalty aside.

Rashka stepped forward and snapped the air. She said to the pups loudly without taking her eyes of the Saber, "Go back to the den please Clover." Rashka stood there defensivly, and loudly growling, her fangs were bared, her hackles raised as high as they could go, her tail straight out and slightly raised but not fully, or even half way, her icey blue eyes were narrowed, her ears were slightly to the side. Rashka waited for the Saber's next move.

Fire stepped up to Rashka and grabbed her by her scruff. He threw her to the ground a few yards away toward their territory and said "Take the pups and go. I am Beta. Don't try to protect me. You must protect the pups. I'll fend them off as long as I can for you to get away." HE looked at the Sabers and asked aggressively "Do you know who I am, kitties?"

"Of course, pixie-mutt," replied Yaniek, loosing some of her hostile demenor and replacing it with eager curiosity. "You're that beta wolf, Fire, am I right? You keep our healer busy with burns quite often; obliged to make your aquantance, and thanks for getting rid of those pups. Now things can finally get interesting!" She grinned slightly as adrenalin from a real fight flowed through her veins. Without hessitating, she summoned a ball of lightning, sending it forth with a zig-zag craze of rapid speed towards the beta.

Aurora's joints softened to belly-basket mush as the tention climaxed to the storm, fighting against her desire to run with her inherited obligation to fight, and vice versa. In the end, she collasped onto her belly, legs sprawled, in a confused daze. Real smooth, you lazy furball! she scolded herself silently, but her limbs refused to budge an inch. The omega exhaled a huge sigh, hoping she would go unnoticed throughout the duration of the maniacs' battle.

Rashka growled as she got thrown to the ground, but she obeyed the alphas orders. She quickly picked up Clover by the scruff and sprinted home, the other puppies followed after but weren't as fast and couldn't keep up. Rashka finally realized this when she turned around and saw the pups far behind. Rashka stopped briefly to let the pups catch up. When the pups caught up and turned and quickly trotted to the den. Rashka finally reached the den and barked sharply at the pups, "Stay here! Do not follow me." Rashka turned and quickly sprinted back to the battle. Rashka stayed back far enough for Fire to not notice her, she would only help if he needed it.

Fire took the hit and said "Is that the best you can do, cat, because if it is then this won't be a fight at all?" He sent a stream of fire at the saber that attacked him and tried to harm him but the pathetic attack didn't even singe a part of his pelt. He looked at the other saber and said "If you want to, you can leave. I didn't want a fight here. I hate fighting to tell you the truth but you your fellow saber there attacked me." He sent a toranado of fire swirling towards the saber who attacked him and said "I doubt you could take a hit from that and not faint."

~Un paused~ I'm back! Sorry it took a little longer than I expected..

Rashka crouched and watched the fight take place, every know and then she looked back to make sure the pups weren't following her. Every few minutes she quickly trotted back to the den to make sure they were safe, and when she saw they were alright Rashka sprinted back to watch the fight. If Rashka had to she would help Fire in the fight, but Rashka doubted he needed it since he was the spirit-wolves beta.
