[color=#800000]When Taylor had been shot, Rue felt even more panic consume her mind. She wasn't one to be incredibly loyal, but found herself racing towards him, her frightened mind lending speed to her paws. She crouched over him; he would be too weak to even move for a while. A fierce growl resonated within her chets, finally ripping through the air in a threatening sound.

Rue dimly heard the sound of beating wings behind her, but she barely even noticed them. Her gaze was locked onto the scientists - her worst nightmare- who were reloading the dart gun. They had time to fire a few at her before another Half purposely crashed into their car; destroying the windshield and sending the vehicle veering wildly off course. That didn't stop the small needles from puncturing her skin, though, and soon felt her muscles growing heavy and weak.

While only one actually hit her, it was enough to make it difficult for Rue to move, and she slowly collapsed next to Taylor.

Taylor groaned. His vision kept fading, blurring. It wasn't turning black, thank gosh, but it was coming in and out of focus. He could just barely move his head as he witnessed what was going on currently. He saw another half come down from the window. It shocked him that there were even more of them at the school, but obviously he couldn't show it since he couldn't really move his face muscles. He then saw a blur of wings as the half crushed the windshield, making the truck go off course like a raging pinball machine. The last thing he saw happening before him was Rue falling next to him, being hit by the dart. "No..." he whispered, using all the strength he could muster. He felt powerless, vulnerable, weak. It was a terrible feeling.

He tried firing a ghost ray, but all that happened was that his hands flashed green. He couldn't direct it anywhere voluntarily, so he just let it shoot wherever it was directed, which just so happened to be at a scientist. The unsuspecting human flew through the air, being hit by a green flash. There were still about two scientists, though, who were able to take the rest of them down with the darts. Taylor's hand was no longer aimed towards any specific thing, so he decided to keep the ghost ray off until he could voluntarily move again.

Ilac groaned. How had the scientists seen him, much less hit him with their tranquilizers? And who, for that matter, were they? Everyone else was acting completely scared of them. Well, he could show them differently. Closing his eyes, he concentrated on the power unknown to him since leaving his home planet...
With a flash, he was instantly wide awake. An aura of power surrounded him, but Ilac doubted anyone could see it. Maybe the demon girl...but then again, nobody else was from his planet and could see auras. Unfortunately, just as quickly as the power came, it went. He was still awake, but he could not use his aura.
A fireball came hurtling at the scientists. Let's hope I'm still good and fireproof, he thought, diving into the stream. Thankfully, he was. The fire did very little to him--his shirt was singed the rest of the way off, but that was it. He positioned himself into a position that would prove very painful to whoever he hit...

Syvor leapt off the truck before it crashed, and landed swiftly on his feet, his wings only folded in a little bit. He did a 360 spin, taking in his surroundings, when he spotted Lily scolded the scientists about something regarding lawyers and kidnapping. He sprinted over without even a single noise, silently thanking God for letting him be able to stretch out his wings. Feathers of red and brown trailing behind him, he skidded to a halt behind the scientists right as Lily produced a ball of fire and flung it at one of them.

When the flaming sphere hit one of the men, he tried to jump away, but ti was too late. He was hit in the stomach, and started to fall backwards. He shot Lily a look that said, Watch this.

He crept up behind the next scientist, who was obviously looking nervous over his comrade, and yet staring straight at Lily. When Syvor was perfectly crouched behind him, he jumped up, whipped out his wings, then flapped them forward so a gust of wind took the second scientist into the side of the school building.

Ilac swooped up exuberantly. The rush of fighting had never appealed to him. The rush of tackling someone more than thrice your size from within a flaming ball of fire had. Gracefully turning in an arc, he swooped at the scientist the hawk-man had just blown into the building. Turning around at the last second, he landed--hard--with two tiny sneakers on the side of the throat. The scientist fainted. Resuming his normal size, he laughed. "I wonder what they'll say on the news now!"

Since all the scientists were out of it, Ilac resumed his normal size. Seemingly out of nowhere, he pulled out a large kit. Rummaging through it, he finally found what he was looking for--a small vial and a hypodermic syringe. "This should counteract the tranquilizer," he said. "Anybody want it? Anybody want to wake up on their own?"

Taylor groaned once more. He could barely move, and it angered him that he had been alone for so long and yet the scientists had found him once more. He tried to get up, and he managed to put his hands on the floor and push up most of his upper body, but he still couldn't get the rest of himself up. He fell to the ground with a thud.

His eyes rolled back as he tried to answer Ilac, but no words came out. Taylor wanted nothing more than to be able to get up and get outta there, but alas, he had lost all his luck. The scientists had found them again and Taylor knew the consequences. They'd never stop. It took the half human almost 2 years to get rid of the lab guys. Now they were back again? Everything seemed to be out of place, out of order. The world was spinning even though Taylor's vision was not. Everything was wrong and the halves were almost powerless to stop it. There was only a small group of them and hundreds, maybe thousands of lab coated evil scientists. They'd never all make it out alive.

Rue managed to speak past her numb lips, though the effort made her feel nauseous and incredibly vulnerable...which she hated. "I..do," she mumbled. The words were probably barely audible; nothing more than a hoarse croak, really.

Ilac quickly injected the wolf-girl. The shot took barely any time, and Ilac knew from experience that it really was barely a prick. "You should be fine in a moment or two," he said soothingly. "Uh, what about you?" he asked the Half that appeared to still be a human...even in transformation.

OOC: Uh, I've got writer's block too. It's kinda hard when I'm asking everyone else...and everyone else are replying one at a time.

Taylor tried his best to nod, and he even tried to get some words out, but all that came out was a choked 'yes'. He couldn't move his mouth, he couldn't really move. The dose he had received had been shot dangerously close to his chest. That area, obviously, was important. Anything that got injected there was potent. If it was good or bad, whatever got under his skin in that spot was sure to take effect quicker than if it were put anywhere else and not only that, but would last longer too.

Korana looked at Taylor as he talked to her then saw him get shot, she gasped, but didn't do anything she just stood and watched everything happen not knowing what to do. She wanted to scream at all of the scientist why couldn't they just leave her alone. She felt that was the only reason they came to the school was for her, because of her form, but she didn't care, she just knew it was time to travel again. She wanted to help but she turned into her tiger form growled and ran into the woods hoping she got the scientist attention
