Scorchpaw mrrowed in shock, her fur standing on end. Rushing out to go help Brightheart she shouldered forcefully past Tigerpaw to get to her. Seeing Winterpaw, she threw a ball of moss to him.

"go soak it! Quick!"

Winterpaw nodded, catching the moss with excitement shining in his eyes and drated into the medicine den, not taking a moment to respond to the medicine cats. He rushed and glanced at Featherpaw, who looked so distressed he almost stopped what he was doing to go comfort her.

Dawnfeather darted out of the Nurury, snatching the ball of moss from Winterpaw and looked at him sharply for hesitating and quicklytried to clear the mouse bile. "Wrrat happenered?" she meowed sharply past the moss.

"Mouse bile... there was a scuffle in the den, I didnt see who caused what," Brightheart mewed painfully...

Bramblestar shouldered his way through the cats that gathered around, mewing sharply. "Who started this?!"

Tigerpaw immediately poin ted with his tail at Scorchpaw. "She did!" She tripped me with her tail and make me fall into Featherpaw with the mousebile."

Cats turned and looked at Scorchpaw, questioning murmurs immediately making their rounds around the camp. Casting supicious looks at Scorchpaw, others looking skeptical.

Scorchpaw stared at Tigerpaw with wide eyes, struck dumb by his accusation. She didnt know whether to defend herself or submit... the accusing glares all around were assuffocating her.

Bramblestar narrowed his eyes, turning to his apprentice. "Well? Is this true?"

Stormfang shouldered his way through, his own suspicions growing. Twice now these two have been in trouble. "You two were arguing outside the apprentice den not two heartbeats ago."

More murmurs went around the camp.

Scorchpaw ducked slightly under Stormfangs quiet reprimand, ears pulling back. She opened her mouth to protest but Bramblestar lifted his tail for silence.

"Enough. Scorchpaw, I want the truth. Speak up!" He commanded, his amber gaze level, but demanding.

Scorchpaws fur grew hot under his stare. "No, I didnt! I swear Bramblestar! Tigerpaw shouldered his way in and..." she thought fast, Featherpaw was in enough trouble as is. "And I bumped into Featherpaw by accident."

"So. You didnt trip Tigerpaw, but you did run into Featherpaw." Bramblestar repeated.

Scorchpaw nodded, her fur growing hotter, not liking to lie at all.

"A warrior must learn to keep her balance even in the toughest battles. You shall look after Brightheart till she's well. Understood? You will feed, change her bedding and fetch medicine when she requires it, including your camp duties. Understood?"

He flicked his tail after Scorchpaw nodded in agreement and the cast dispursed. He nodded once and returned to his den.

Tigerpaw smirked in triumph, that should keep the kittypet out of his fur for a while!

Scorchpaw shifted her paws, looking thruoughly emberrassed. She looked at the halfblind she-cat and went up to her. "A--aare you in any pain?"

"Of course she's in pain," Dawnfeather snapped. "Go ask Jayfeather for poppyseeds!"

Scorchpaw dipped her head and quickly went across the camp as fast as her paws could carry her.

Winterpaw stared after his denmate, thinking. It was true she was here only for a day... but to cause such a ruckus like that was an unwise choice on how to make friends. He moved over to Featherpaw, "Are you okay?"

"Scorchpaw... Why did she do that? It wasn't her fault..." Featherpaw dumbly brushed past Winterpaw, her paws and head feeling lighter than air, her insides like lead.

She pushed past the crowd that had gathered gathered around Brightheart. She caught Tigerpaw's smirk; gravity returned to her body. "Scorchpaw is not the only cat at fault here!" she yowled. "If she is, then I am as well. 'A warrior must learn to keep her balance even in the toughest battles,'" she quoted, icy eyes boring holes into her brother. She turned and defiantly faced her clanmates."If you can blame Scorchpaw for Brightheart's eye because Tigerpaw blundered into her,"

Tigerpaw uttered a low hiss.

"...then you can blame me as well. I was the one who lost my grip on the moss that held the bile. Bramblestar, please allow me to help care for Brightheart," she concluded.

An odd smell wafted into Jayfeather's nose; Cloudedfur. The blind medicinecat padded towards the rouge, who appeared to be studying the scene from afar.

"Well, what do you make of it?" he asked casually, natural wariness of the cat rising.

Breif History:Rainpaw was born to Dovefeather and Oakfur,and his brother named Tigerpaw. Doesn't like his brother much so stayed away from him.
