Ooc:// Sorry, I must have deleted that part or something. I think it sounds really cool, but I don't have the time to search for pictures, and nothing comes to mind.

"Neither do I," Alyss said, glad of Griffin's touch.

Maya looked behind them. Laia was only a few feet behind, looking downcast. "She's right there." Maya raised her voice. "Laia! Come on over here!" she called.

Laia looked up in surprise, but quickened her pace, and soon was walking alongside them.

Katherine stuck her tongue out at him. "Knew it," she said.

Aaron returned the gesture, sticking his tongue out as well.

Ooc:// Thats alright. I can look for them.

Bic:// Griffin nodded his agreement. He looked up at the darkening sky, dark gray clouds blocking off any blue. "It's too early for it to get dark," he said bitterly, knowing what the alternative was.

Haley sniffed at the air. "Smells like rain," she said happily, the prospect of a storm not dampening her mood in the least, but actually almost cheering her up.

Rina cleared her throat and finally said, "You're name is Hiro, right?" She knew all of the wolves' names, but she didn't want to come right out and declare that fact.

"Where have you been?" Clair asked Laia curiously.

Dorian caught the scent of the weather on the air and glanced at the sky. "Smells like we're in for a down pour."

Jack shrugged. "A little rain never hurt anyone," he said.

"Just because I accussed you two of being children, doesn't mean you have to act like it," Rose said with a chuckle.

"I like the rain, too," Alyss said, her solemn expression changing into an almost cheery one. "It's so pretty and fun to walk in."

Hiro nodded, and replied in the same gruff voice. "Yeah, it is." He acted as if he wasn't in the mood for conversation or company, though he was actually reveling in it.

"Only a little behind. I was walking, not running," Laia explained, her voice soft and a but husky, like it normally was.

Katherine subtly stepped on his foot, targeting near the ankle. She knew from experience that's were it hurt him the most.

"Hey!" Aaron said in surprise, looking down. "Rose, she stepped on my foot!" he complained.

"Do you really believe I would step on his foot? I'm not that immature," Katherine said, rolling her eyes. "He's probably making stuff up again."

Aaron glared at her sulkily.

Griffin half sighed, half growled. "You two can go have fun dancing in the storm," he said. "I think I''ll stay inside tonight."

Haley giggled at Griffin's unhappiness as the first few raindrops fell, one landing on the tip of her nose.

"My name is Caterina," Rina said, not wanting to fall back into into an uncomfortable silence. "I guess my nickname is Rina, though." She didn't have any friends to give her a nickname, but she didn't think saying that was a good idea.

Clair shook her head at Laia. "You have got to learn to keep up," she said before running again.

"But it can sure dampen a mood," Dorian muttered.

Jack smirked. "My mood feels as dry as ever," he joked.

Rose laughed at them. "Don't make me stop this car and separate the two of you," she scolded teasingly.

"No way, Griff," Alyss said, grinning in a teasing way. "I'm making sure you stay outside with me." She gripped his harm to emphasis her point, her eyes flashing with unspoken laughter.

"Name's Hiro," the lycanthrope replied, staring at the ground. A few drops of rain splattered as he looked, and her groaned.

"You have to learn to slow down!" Laia retorted, running. Normally, she didn't retort, speak back, etcetera. Today had been...different for her though.

Maya gave a light laugh, running after the two of them.

Aaron gripped her arm sarcastically, as if proving Rose would have to actually come back and seperate them. A grin lingered on his face, though.

"You heard the driver," Katherine said. "Let go, before I push you out of the car myself. And Rose will not stop before I do it."

"Do you really think you can take me on?" Griffin asked teasingly, a michievious glint in his eye. He stopped walking as if to prove his point that Alyss couldn't overpower him.

Haley giggled, her mood brightened by the rain, and she pushed Griffin's back just as he came to a stop, causing him to land on the ground that was slowly softening into mud.

Rina glanced at the sky as the first raindrops fell. She glanced at Hiro as we groaned. "Don't you like the rain?" she asked him. She didn't really like the rain, but walking in it for a few minutes didn't bother her either.

Clair shook her head in annoyance at either Maya's laugh or Laia's retort. Or both. She wasn't really in the mood for an attitude from a lower ranking wolf or one of her allies finding amusment in the attitude.

Dorian glanced down the street and saw the three females approaching. He stood up from his place on the ground and said, "I guess it's time to head inside."

"Looks like it," Jack said, trying not to sound happy or sad about it. Dorian was in one of his touchy moods again, as he usually was.

"Actually, I'll come back there myself and help you push him out of the car," Rose said with a teasing smile, flicking the whippers on her car on as it started to rain.

"Stay on the ground and you'll only get more wet," Alyss pointed out, a light laugh accompanying her words. She offered her hand as a way to help either him or Haley up.

Laia seemed to pick up on Clair's thoughts, and immediatly became closed and silent again.

Maya couldn't help but liking Laia, even if Clair was her friend. She understood why Clair has responded the way she did, but it wasn't something Maya would have done herself...not even close.

Hiro shook his head, amazed he was actually holding this conversation. She wasn't even part of a pack! Much less important! He didn't speak his thoughts though, only continued responding. "Not really. I prefer to stay warm and dry. Besides, rain is also made up of alot of dust. Its not like I enjoy standing in a shower of wet dust."

Aaron punched her arm lightly in a form of a retort, his scowl belayed by a flicker of a grin.

Katherine wasted no time before returning the punch, her's a bit mroe forceful.

Griffin took Alyss's hand but instead of pulling himself up, he yanked her down on the muddy groud too.

Haley laughed as Alyss fell to the ground too, and through a hand full of mud at the both of them.

Rina looked at him strangely, never hearing that before. "Really?" she asked in surprise as she squinted at the rain drops to examine them. "They just seem like water to me."

Clair sighed at the two as she approached Dorian and Jack. "Why are you two out here? It is raining, you know," she said to them, a clap of thunder sounding as if to prove her point.

"Just waiting on you three," Jack said pleasantly despite the worsening storm.

"Lets head in before this gets any worse," Dorian said, heading inside the pack's large house. He stripped off his soakinf shirt to reveal a less damp under shirt. He drapped it one of the coat hooks and kicked off his shoes before walking in any farther.

Rose smirked at them as she pulled into Aaron's driveway. "Here's your stop, trouble-maker."

Alyss couldn't help but laughing, even though she was sure to hate the mud later on. For now, it was slick and smooth against her skin, and not at all irritating. She threw her own handful of mud, targeting Haley as mud splattered against her skin. "Ooh, bad move, Haley!" she laughed.

Maya followed Dorian without speaking for once. It seemed like the rain had washed away the words for the moment, though they were sure to return soon.

Laia stayed near the back; she knew she was the "weak link" in the pack, and she should go in last, after everyone else had gotten inside. But that didn't mean she had to enjoy it.

"It's only small dust particles," Hiro replied, shrugging his shoulders as if that explained everything. He was secretly wondering why he was conversing with Rina; she was a loner...besides, this was the longest, friendly conversation he had ever held for a while.

Fen didn't mind the rain; it matched his mood in mroe ways than one. But some of the pack was sure to hate every last drop, so he quickened the pace. He was satisfied to see the building up ahead, not to far.

Aaron, while he could be a clown at times, still remained polite surprisingly. "Thanks for the ride!" he called over his shoulder, running towards his door. He held the bag over his head to shield his hair from the rain, and took out his key...only to find it wasn't there. "Dang it!" he scowled, kicking the door. He ran back to the car.

"You can stay at my house," Katherine said. Aaron often forgot his key; which meant he usually ended up coming home with her after school.

Griffin whiped at the mud that had landed in a glomp on his cheek. It splattered onto Alyss accidently, and he glanced at her with a shy, guilty smile.

Haley gasped as the mud splattered across her neck and chest. She grabbed a handful of mud and threw it at Alyss at the same time she got up and started to run from the counter attack she knew she was coming. She slipped on the slick ground, though, and ended up falling onto the muddy ground again.

Luna walked out of the apartment building where she lived with the teenagers. She normally wouldn't mind that they were all a little late coming home from school, but she had heard that there had been a fight that day that involved Fen and Dorian. She spotted Fen walking down the sidewalk to the building, and she sighed in relief to see that at least he was alright. She met him halfway and asked, "Where are the others?"

Rina shurgged. "Hm, well, I guess that's... interesting," she said, biting her lip because she had nothing more to say.

Clair placed her shoes right next to Dorian's and walked into the living room behind him.

Jack come in behind Maya, shaking the water from his hair in a very doggish way.

Dorian glanced at his mother and father who were sitting on the living room couch, obviously waiting for him. He should have known that they would have already heard about the fight at school.

Daniel stared at the teens as they shuffled in, drenched from the rain. He cleared his throat as they stepped onto the carpet of the living room. "We've heard word of the events of your days," he began. "And we are very disappointed. In all of you."

"You told me to get them under control," Dorian growled at his father. "So I tried."

"We didn't mean in front of the whole human student body," Daniel growled back, though his response was cold and calm. "I thought you would have thought this through."

"You guys can both stay at my house if you want," Rose suggested. The storm was only worsening and Rose lived closer to Aaron than Kat. Rose didn't really want to admit it, but she wasn't really thrilled to have to drive much more in this weather.

Alyss stood up, still laughing lightly. "We...should...probably...catch up..now," she gasped, having to speak in between hiccups.

Taichi remained silent; she often let Daniel handle these situations, though she was capable of doing so herself.

Laia decided to head inside, and sidled in behind Maya and Jack.

"They're coming," Fen assured her; she had probably heard about the fight.

Hiro paused. "We'll be there really soon. Are you nervous?" He was a bit surprised; he often wasn't concerned about others.

"Thanks, Rose," Katherine said, grinning. Her parents both worked, so she was left to herself often. That meant she was free to spend the afternoon somewhere without fear or scolding. Besides, they wouldn't mind anyways.

Aaron's parents were actually out of town...he still had a week to go before they came back. "Yeah, thanks," he chimed in.

"Yeah, I guess you're right," Griffin said, trying to stop his own laughter. Despite his words, he grabbed Alyss by her legs and tackled her back into the mud.

Haley sat in the mud that she had fallen into and shouted, "I can so that no one cares about me anymore! I could be seriously hurt over here!" Of course, Haley was fine, but she just wanted to tease her two friends.

"Will I regreat asking what happend today?" Luna asked with a grimance.

Rina hesitated before responding. "Yeah, I guess I kinda am," she admitted. "Truthfully, I've grown distrustful of packs. I've only ever known the Slatina pack, and you know how they are."

Claur wanted to defend Dorian, but she would not step out of line in front of her alphas.

Jack turned his eyes away from the scolding alphas.

"I'm trying to," Dorian said with a slight growl.

"Don't you growl at me!" Daniel shouted in an inhuman roar.

"No problem," Rose said as she back out of Aaron's drive and headed down the rode that led to her own house.
