Delilah nodded. "Nice to meet you all! And you can all join as long as you're friendly." She laughed happily. She looked down at Max and picked him up and hoisted him on her shoulders. She could sense he wanted something of a maternal figure, and she thought she could provide that figure for a time.
Shadow glared at the dog, trying to decide whether or not he was a possible threat. But just as he was starting to figure it out, something bumped into him, and hard. He was thrown against the stone and brick wall. His body looked like a ragdoll as it crashed against the hard surface and fell almost lifelessly to the floor. He grumbled, trying his best to get up. He fell a few times and decided to rest before getting up. After a few minutes, he finally was able to get up.

Shaya had managed to pay attention to the others' coversation, even while participating in her own. "I still hate storms," she mumbled, the words barely audible. As if to emphasis her words, thunder boomed, and she flinched, taking a hasty step backwards.
Niya pressed her body against her sister's. It's fine, she thought, trying to get the words across through her eyes. She pressed her muzzle against Shaya's until she felt her heartbeat slow.
"Thanks, Niya," Shay whispered, glad to have some small comfort.

"Cool!" Alli said, spinningin a small circle for a second, "So, when are we going there? it's thundering reeeeeally loud," she said, empasizing the really.
"Eh, don't really bother me," Shy said, "just as long as there's no lightning!" she said, rushing the word lightning out of her mouth, as she saw some strike in the distance.
"Aww, it don't bother me much. Well,actually, the whole storm does, except for the water. hate not seeing the sun," Alli replied.

"Same as me," Alli said, laughing, almost blushing at Crash's words but she didn't, because another clap of thunder came unexspectedly, and scared her.
hearing Delila's words, shegot to her feet, as she had been sitting, "okay," she sai, walking up next to her, "Who all is coming?"
"I am!" Alli yipped.
