Kovu jumped into the fight.
Kiara fought back with Kovu, For the cubs she thought.

Zira growled she jumped up and landed outside of the fighting crowd.
Vitani growled and pushed Zira she landed on the edge of pride rock... just like Simba had been pushed before he overuled Scar.

Kiara noticed Zira getting closer to where the cubs were hidden. Vitani fought her a ways away but she came back. "Vitani the cubs!" She cried running to the hideout.
Kovu fought off another attacker but another outlander brought him to the ground. He roared in pain.
Simba fell backward his feet slipping off Pride Rock. The outlander had his paws. "This seems familiar..." The outlander said chuckling evily.

"Simba NO!" Nala yelled as she ran towards the outlander she then shut up waiting to see what would happen (kinda stupid move but mreh lol)
Vitani's ears perked up she gasped and ran towards the den she grabbed the cubs and brought them as far back as she could inside pride rock.

Kiara smiled at Vitani and took the cubs from her. A spot in the back where she had escaped from when she went to find Kovu was still open. She squeezed through carrying the whimpering cubs with her.
Kovu jumped backward and knocked the lion onto her back. "This will only hurt... A lot!" He roared biting into the lions throat. Blood gushed and the lion went still.
Simbas paws slipped and slide. He pulled up with his legs but was not strong enough. His daughters voice came to his head. "Vitani the cubs!" Thats when a burst of adrenaline and strength pumped into his system, He launched himself forward and knocked the lion on her back. The grabbing her throat he threw her off the edge.

Nala nuzzled Simba quickly. She then jumped into action again, she faught off some of the lionessess.
Vitani guarded the den
Half of all of scars "Pride" Had been deminished and half of them had ran off.

Kiara lay in a little cave hidden with the cubs. They were scared, she knew, but so was she. "Its ok little ones."
Kovu fought off the remaining outlander and watched them run back to their territory. "Vitani?!" He yelled. "Wheres Kiara and the cubs!?" He said worried.
Simba nuzzled Nala throwing another outlander off the cliff. "Wheres Kiara?!" He asked her urgently.

Vitani bolted out. "Holy crow shut up everyone shes safe!" Vitani said grinning and with a gloating smile she ran into the den.
"Its safe dear." She said To Kiara nudging her softly on the cheek.

Kiara picked both cubs up and carried them back to the pride, she hugged her mother and father with them in her mouth and then set them down to nuzzle Kovu. "Thank you Vitani!" She said smiling hugging her sister.
Simba smiled knowing his daughter was safe.
Kovu nuzzled each cub and then Kiara. "Glad you safe." He murmured.
