Cameron just nodded silently at Anchorage before turning to Purl and saying. "It's a little dirty, but it's warm and dry." He said. They soon arrived at a cave, big enough to fit even a grizzly bear. "We're here." Muttered Cameron, pointing to the entrance with his muzzle. He sat outside the cave and watched the dogs carefully, he could tell Nennana didn't trust him much but then again, did he trust them much? He was obviously aware that either side was wary of the other, except for Purl who would just talk a bit too much for his liking. But as they say, you just have to grin and bear it. But Cameron hadn't done much grinning so he just had to frown and bear it.

"I'm sorry am I talking to much?" Asked purl. "I...I just thought you seemed lonely and might need a friend." She lowered her ears. "I don't usualy talk this much realy I don't!" She was sort of begining to like Cameron. He was diffrent than any one she had ever met before and he listened. The cave wasn't too dirty and she made herself comfortable.
Nennana let her gard down and began opening up to the new companion. "How ever may we repay are Grattitude?" she asked. The trip to the cave had been long enough for her to make a desition about this dog.
Ancorage wimpered as he lay down. The journey had burned off his two lunches and now he was hungry again. As much as he ate you'd imagine him to be fat and as scared as he was you'd imagine him to be weak. However he was quite skinny and at times rather strong or agile.
Rew groaned. It would be impossible to fight a carribou by himself in these conditions. He sniffed the air and caught sent of his friend Cameron. He followed the sent to the gaping mouth of the large cave were he stood as a black sillouet against the hot white sun.

Aridane walked on the snow, which seemed to have formed a crunchy layer on top. After awhile of walking, she spoke. "That howl didn't seem like it came from a wolf..." she said, turning her head around in the direction the howl had come. Midnight had pretty much fallen asleep, she hung almost lifelessly in Aridane's mouth.

Cameron forced a small smile as he turned to face the dogs in the cave. "No, you don't talk too much." He lied, hoping that would make her feel a bit better. Wait a minute, why was he trying to make her feel better about her constant talking...and just why did he have the heart to lead the dogs to this cave? He shook his head slightly, not wanting to believe that he was actually starting to like being social. He then looked over at Nennana. "You don't have to repay me at all, besides how could you actually repay me? I mean, I'm a lone wolf/dog...It's not like you could do something to repay me." He said. Being a loner, he figured he didn't need much. He then turned his head to see his 'friend' (he prefers to call his friends, his aquaintances) Rew. "What is it Rew?" He asked.

"I'm bord!" Said Rew with exagerated importance. His ears perked at the sight of Purl. "Who is this pretty peddigree?" He asked slyly.
"My name is Purl" She didn't find this new wolf nearly as exiting as her new friend Cameron! This wolf was just like all the others. But Cameron had something genuine and diffrent about him. A delicate balance between wolf and dog that was to wonderfull for purl to fathom.
"Why don't we all go for a hunt and feed this peddigree? Huh?"
Ancorage's ears perked up at the concept of eating! "Great I'm starved!" Then he had a delimma. "I have absolutely no idea how to hunt!" He added in the same eager tone.
Nennana seemed concerned. "This hunting method of yours. Exactly how dangerouse is it?"
Rew sighed. "When I teach all of you to hunt. And If I can convince Cameron to help. I'de say on average you should only lose two lims. I died a few times bwfore when I went hunting!" He switched to a m ore seriouse tone. "Look are you hungry or not?"

Cameron listened to Rew then rolled his eyes slightly. "No need to get all dramatic, and if you died a few times then why are you alive?" He asked rhetorically with a hint of annoyance in his voice. He turned to the others. "Hunting is rather simple really once you get the hang of it. One rule, beginners have to hunt the smallest and weakest caribou." He explained. "Rew and I will teach you how to stalk, run, pounce and kill and all the basics in hunting. If it's not a successful hunt, the other alternatives are berries..or you could let yourself starve." Added Cameron.

"Hunnting is worth a try then!" Nennana decided.
"Yes!" Ancorage leaped to his feat. "Lead the way dog...wolf...guy."
Rew smiled empishly at Cameron. "The God of wolves resorected me!"He said expansivly. "Now I can controll you with my mind!" He closed his eyes tightly trying to get Cameron to do what he wanted. "The wolf God has decieved me!" He grinned.
Purl prefured not to starve over staying clean. However she was by no means looking forward to getting her coat dirty. Wordlessly she walked over and sat by Cameron listening for his instruction.

Cameron looked over to Rew. "Where do you think the next herd will be?" He asked, knowing that his friend spent more time in the woods than he did. Truth be told, Cameron would always hang around outside town watching the humans and the dogs walk by. He never spent much time hunting and so he didn't really know where the herds moved to each time.

"Ther's a clearing just east of here. It's about the time the carribou usualy try grazing." He thought a moment. "Itmust take some skill to eat the grass belowe the snowe." He grinned. "They must have abnormaly flexible tungs." Rew shook his black coat before exiting out of the cave and up over the top of it. "Allright this way!" Nennana followed wordlessly. Also silently Purl followed behind Nenanna. However though she didn't care to admit it she was slightly frightened by this forest so she stayed near Camerons side as well.Ancorage happily troted along behinde all of them with his frosen tung dangling from his toothy mouth.BUMP

"I think it was," Flint said, "So, anyways, do you want to go hunt? Or scavenge for the night?" "There might be food in the cave," Fenris said, "I'll go check!" the black wolf started to try and run to the cave, which was almost in sight by now, on top of a hill. Flint shrugged, "He does that sometimes. Just goes off and leaves you, he'll be back though," he said, certainly.

Cameron silently watched Purl as she stayed near to him. He rolled his eyes when no-one was looking and let out a small 'hmph'. Though he did not say or show it, Purl was incredibly annoying to him. But somewhere deep down underneath all the angriness and sadness that had built protective walls around his heart, he had a soft spot for her. He wasn't a bad canine, just lost and confused by others around him, maybe so confused that he refused to let anyone get close to him and he also refused to show his positive emotions that were bottled up deep within him. Maybe one day that would all change, but that certainly wasn't about to change right now.

"Hunting, yes... I would but, where can I leave Midnight...?" Aridane said hesitatingly as she looked down at her pup. "Mother... mum?" Midnight yawned "You can drop me" Midnight looked up at her mum. "Okay, dear" Aridane said as she put Midnight gently on the snow.
