Cade backed away from Scythe, seeing that it was obvious how he didn't want to talk about anything. She shrugged and walked out into the hallway, meeting up with the rest of the cats. "Morning, other felines." she put emphasis on the 'other' because she was very prejudice to others who weren't her kind. "Scythe sure is exhausted if you're wondering."

Dewey stood up tall, his tail held high. "My name's Dewey, and I'm a housepet, but I never really understood the whole 'stay away from other cat races' thing. I was separated from my real family waaay before I can remember, so I was never informed about it anyways."

Nika smiled at the young cat's innocence and unknowningness, she sighed, somewhat wishing they could all be like that.But she shook the thoughts away and continued to walk down the stairs into the living room where a large TV laid."Hmm." She jumped on the remote and it turned on, sound blaring that made her hiss, she pushed a down button "Down!Shut up!" She yowled and it obeyed the push of the button quickley.A song was playing, it was a eerie song about murder and she liked it, it was called Eyes on Fire by Blue Foundation.

Cade flicked her nostrils, detecting the scent of fresh kill in the air. She slunk over to where she could see the mice by Nika's feet, and then trotted by, picking up a mouse when Nika's gaze was turned.

Dewey mewed at the sight of food. He pawed over to the mice and sniffed them innocently. It had even looked like Dewey was the one who ate the first mouse instead of Cade.

Nika smiled kindly and nodded at Scythe "Thankyou, now-" SHe saw Cade taking off with another one of the mice and she stepped on her tail "Drop it you selfish brat!" Her voice was as cold and sharp as ice, cutting the very seams of your emotions."I can tell we are all hungry but that doesn't mean we need to steal!" Her eyes were stern "Lets have a hunting patrol so we all have a chance to eat..." She flicked her tail and grabbed the mice, putting them under the floorboards and walked out the door "Crow, Cade, you will come with me." She said "Scythe, you have alreayd hunted today so you are free to do as you please, now Enna, Claw, and Dewey go towards the bigger building, I've seen birds there often and occasianly some mice and a rat or two." She said, she knew she was making orders but in a way it felt natural and a leader had to be someone and no one had claimed the job yet so she grabbed it.

Claw moaned, but relized if he went hunting he would defiantly be aloud to eat and get the most since Nika and Cade seemed to be good hunters.He stretched and trotted towards the door with Nika "So where are we off to?" He asked, curious of what beings laid hidden in the town other than themselves.Nika looked around and saw the Meat Market "There.." She whispered, very few no-furs lived in the town, the ones who did had stores and lived a little farther away so they never really bothered the cats.A man was chopping up a steak, juicy and bloody."Mmm!" Claw said, drooling almost as he watched the daring calico snatch as much meat she could handle, Claw did the same.

[So like only maybe ten or fifteen people still have uissnesses here in the small town but don't live there, they live somewhat farther off past 'The Big Hill' near the forest.]

Cade didn't rush. She simply strode over confidently, then took a good-sized chunk for herself, not seeming in any hurry.

Dewey was glad to be grouped with Claw- the first cat he met here. He stuck close to his side, annoying him the whole way. "You think we'll see any birds? What do mice taste like? Are there rats bigger than me?"

Nika scoffed "Cade, not all of this meat is just for you, grab some for the rest of the cl-cats to." She almost called the group a clan which was used for almost a family of cats but she knew it wasn't right to call the cats family or even friends just yet.She trotted along with the cats and back to the cats.She put down the pile of meat and smiled at their storage, it was already nearly full and when the other hunting group came back they would certainly have enough to feed the group of cats.

"Rats could be bigger than you." Claw said, in a calm, but teasing voice, "So stick with us." he said, in a normal tone. "Mice are delicious, by the way. And easier to catch than birds, who fly." he curled his tail, and walked towards the building. "Now, try to be quiet, so you don;'t scare off the mice and rats. OR the birds."

Cade rolled her eyes at Nika, saying, "You sound like a concerned mother." she commented in her disapproving voice. "I think I know what I'm doing." she finished. Cade furrowed her brow and got close to Nika's face and whispered, "Just 'cause you're the supposed 'leader' of this group, it doesn't mean I have to give away what I got for myself. And your precious 'clan' isn't here to protect you either, so I suggest you don't get snappy with me."

Dewey cheered, "HOORAY!" But then caught himself and whispered, "Hooray...." he was excited to go on his first hunt.

Claw flicked his tail at Dewey, "Nice, you could have scared off that mouse..." he crouched, and slid over to a mouse he had seen and smelt. He jumped at it, catching it uner his paw.

Nika hissed quietly and extending her paw, sharp claws extending but she put it back down."I'm not going to fight with you, I'm just trying to help the cats and your just being immature." She turned around and walked off, her paws silence as she made it to a alley.She looked up at the sky, then closed her eyes."To many problems, I don't know where I belong." She took a ragged breath "I want to go home..But nobodies home." Her eyes opened and she looked down "I'm broken inside." She told herself, she felt rejected by everyone she had met, but she had to suck it up, she had to be strong.She looked back at the small fight with Cade and sighed "She doesn't even know, none of them do." She looked down the alley, the hill that had so many things awaiting, forest, a town, probally other cats and to the other end, where cats she didn't know stayed and where she had to hide herself completley from them it felt.She walked back home and went into her room, slamming the door and jumping on her bay window.
