Shay was happy to let silence fill the air between them, only brokken by the rasp of leaves underfoot as they walked.

A coyote howled far off and he reterned the yipping call, he sounded just like a coyote. "No scouts are over there." He told Shay before letting the silence engulf them again.

"Good," Shay said, satisfied. Silence once again filled the still night air between them. She kept walking, eyes occasioanlly glancing up to look at the stars to note their position. "We should be there any minute now," she said. A large, dark shadow lomed over them as she spoke. The ruins.

Fen looked upwards. "This looks like a good place." He let go of her hand and drew his sword. "Just in case." he told her. "Lead the way princess." He couldnt help but adress her like royalty it had been beaten into him by the other vampires and it wasnt something he was giong to forget.

"You don't have to call me that," SHay said, feeling suddenly self consious. She drew her own blade. A short sword, almost more of a long dagger that had been strapped to her thigh. She walked infront of Fen, stone soon dotting the ground underfoot, leftover from the ruins.

"Sorry, it's just something im used to doing." Fen muttered, knowing that her sharp hearing would catch every word. He growled slightly as the darkness of the closed space consumed them. He shook off the feeling slighty and followed her. "Do you have any people that are close to you? And that we can trust?"

"Yes. A scout named Paton," Shay said. "He was a friend of my father. Why do you want to know? I'm fairly certain that we can't contact him," she said, curious.

Fen answered her question with a certain carefullness in her voice, so he didnt scare her. "I want to make sure I dont kill him, if he had happend to come across us."

"I'll warn you if it's him. I would be able to scent anyone who came across us or near us," Shay said, curiousity subsiding from her icy eyes. She stopped, then pulled gently on Fen's arm to get him to stop too. "Here, we can enter here." she said, pointing through a small, secluded entrance mostly hidden by vines. "Most of the other entrances have collapsed."

Fen nodded. He moved to the vines and lashed out with his sword, the vines parting, he moved a few feet inward and growled. "The entrence is blocked slightly." He put his sword back into place and sqeezed under one of the boulders, he pressed his back and shoulders against it, standing up slowly as he lifted it and opened up the passage for her to go in. "After you."

Shay blushed slightly as a blush spread lightly across her cheeks at the sight of his muscles rippling as he lifted it, and ducked to go in, glad the darkness hid her embarassment.

Fen made sure Shay was safley in and put the boulder dowm, fallowing after her. His eyes quickly adjusted to the darkness and he looked around the old, abonded castle. "Have you come here before?" he asked his hand on the hilt of his sword as he investigated a lot of the places were people could hide.

"Once," Shay answered, her voice soft but clear in the still air. Silence took place after her words sank away, only broken by the soft thud of their footfalls on the stone floor.

Fen nodded. He followed at her shoulder. "Is there a place were we can rest in here? Or do we have to find one ourselves?" he asked as he looked down at her, she still looked amazing even if the darkness of the abondand castle.

"There should be a place," Shay said, picturing a map in her mind. "Right here," she said, slipping through a small opening in the rocky wall. It opened up to a large, if damp, room containing a large bed and a few otehr items of furniture that were beginning to rot.
