"Yeah sure..." he said, "Anyways, sit down." he layed his head on his paws. "Or you could sleep standing up..." he joked.

She sat down. "I think I'm good sitting," she said, joking back, flashing him another grin, flirtatiously.

He lifted his head, "Good. Now, what do you wanna do? It's getting kinda late, it's too dangerous to go outside of the car at night, belive me, I have, and I almost got killed by a rabid mutt." he shuddered at the thought, "Wanna talk about being a wolf? We never get to show that side in this city. Ever."

"THat's true. You only can talk about it if your willing to do suicide," SAdie said. "So, sure. Sounds like a good idea to me."

"Ok, as most wolfdogs are, my mother was the wolf. My father a German shepherd." he paused, "I don't know why I know that, I just... do." he sighed, "Anyways, as soon as I could survive, my mother gave me a name, and left me in the forest, all alone, just sitting there. I came to the junkyard, and Al and I grew up together, and slept in his 'house' and my 'house' on different nights. Now, well, that's about it."

"My dad was actually the wolf. He left when I was born. My mother got really sick when I was still a pup. She died." she said. "It was a while ago, and I don't really remember much except running from humans and trying to live on the streets. THen meeting you," she added.

"Yeah, same for me, I don't remember much, just the basics, other than that, it's a blur. And the stuff that happened just today. but still, one question always hangs in my head: Why did at least one of our parents abandon us?" Loki sighed as he said this.

"I don't know. I guess we ae just to different," she said.

"Normal pups don't get left behind, not even Al. He ran away from his home." he sighed and looked down. "You don't think I'm weird, do you? I'm not that street dog I'm supposed to be, my mom raised me, while she actually cared, when I was really tiny, to be loveable, and cute, because she knew she was going to dump me in the woods, I guess. My accent's from my dad though." he smiled a bit, "Yeah-us, Sayy-dii, it is!" he said, making fun of his countrysih side for a moment.

Sadie smiled at him. "I don't think you're weird at all Loki. But I'm not the best one to ask, considering I'm a wolfdog," she said, using the word like a disease, like so many had before her.

"Aww, don't treat the word badly, it's what we are. We can't chnage that! Be proud of it! Just not in public..." he muttered the last part, and then laughed a tiny bit.

Sadie let a smile reappear on her face, and laughe with him.

"But, seriously, the word isn't a curse!" he finished, then yawned, "You know, being a wolf-dog is kinda fun. You could survive in the wild, too, you know, if the humans disappeared, most dogs couldn't."

"Some could. It would be better to be just a wolf, or jut a dog. Being both is hard."
