"Can you get me outta here?" Aya asked hopefully. Because she was a dog didn't mean that she wanted to be chained up and all the other stuff Riley had said. She hated this place just as much as he did, and had always wanted to be free of it, although it didn't often show, unless she had the slightest oppurunity of freedom. THe owner came by regularly, drunk most of the time, and often beat the dogs into submission, or had someone else do it for him. She was sick of it.

Riley looked at Darkwolf with a thankful expression and wagged his tail a mile a minute. "Thanks! Thank you! You're awesome!" he said, jumping around. He then realized he should be quieter because of the humans approaching. He quickly turned to Ace. "Are you sure you don't want to come?" When he saw the human coming their way, he turned to Darkwolf. "I can distract them while you escape. I've saved my strength now and I can catch up with you guys after you escape," he said. He waited for Darkwolf to approve his plan, before he went through with it.

Riley stood still as he heard Dark say run. He couldn't find the strength to move. He didn't feel right leaving Dark here alone to fight the humans. He ran to the humans behind Dark and jumped swiftly by them, putting his jaws on their rifles and taking them away. He pointed the rifles at the humans and they laughed, thinking a wolf or dog was too stupid to know how to pull the trigger. Riley put it on the ground, but still facing them, and pulled the trigger. It shot at their feet and blood came out from their shoes. "This is what you get for trying to imprison me here, for trying to kill off my kind!" he said, and then ran away. He kept running, hoping Darkwolf and Aya would be following. He soon was remembering his past, how the humans killed his parents and stole him from his home. He stopped running, feeling too much pain to keep going.

Aya ran after Dark, her eyes wide with excitement and the fear and thrill of the possibility of being caught and the chase. SHe was so glad to be free, to get away from there. SHe looked back at Ace and Riley, and stopped, unable to force herself to leave them fighting. She turned around, and ran back to her nightmare. She soon reached it, as she had not ran very far. She leapt at a human from behind,, a fierce snarl on her muzzle.

Riley's past soon faded away from his mind as Aya came back to the station to fight. "No! What are you doing?" he said worriedly. "Go, run! I'll be fine! I can catch up with you guys! But I won't be fine if you stay here. I'll hold myself responsible if you get hurt or captured, even if it's not my fault!" His eyes looked pleading. "Please..."

Aya shook her head. "I would blmae myself then!" she replied, dodging the chain loop thrown at her, in a vain attempt to get it around her neck. She bit his hand, drawing a large amount of blood and pain.

Riley sighed. "Alright then..." he said, then grabbed some more of the humans' rifles and growled. Seeing what he had done to the other officers, they ran. Riley grinned. As the humans ran, he turned to Aya. "We should go before more reinforcments show up."

She nodded as more humans came out, more timidly then the first group, their guns lim by their sides. "Ace, come on!" she cried out as the humans started going faster towards them.
