"Well we can't just watch her be torn to pieces by that mangy, lice-infested creature that calls itself a bird!" Jet screamed loud enough so the hawk could hear.

The hawk stopped in midair and swerved around, careening straight at the brothers' heads with it's sharp beak.

"NOW LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE!" Tangle yelled and steered out of the way.

Slip pulled on Riri's tail, trying to get her loose.

Jet ducked and said, "I did that on purpose so the bird would get closer!" The hawk tried to pull Riri away from Slip, but then Jared bit the bird's neck and shook it in his mouth, making it let go of his baby sister. He then threw the bird into the air, allowing it to steady itself and fly away quickly.

Slip was thrown back, Riri in his mouth.

Riri gasped and fell backwards, then jumped up and took in deep breaths and yelling, "You guys didn't even come to look for me! I could've gotten killed! Some brothers you are!" before running away, tears streaming down her face, into the woods again.

Ooc:// I'm going to bring in a character that will feel sorry for Riri and adopt her, but when her brothers come to take her back, Chren will fight to keep her.

Riri jumped over logs and swerved around trees and shrubs at top speed. She just wanted to get away from her brothers. She heard a voice say, "Hello little girl, are you lost?" Riri skidded to a halt in front of a shadowy figure. The figure stepped out and into the light, and Riri saw that it was a female fox, a vixen, and she was very slim and delicate. Riri wiped her nose with her paw and said, "My name is Riri. My brothers abandoned me." The fox put a paw around the crying pup and said with a sympathetic tone, "Oh, I'm so sorry, sweetie. And my name is Chren. I could let you stay with me if you want."
