"Probablly," Balto agreed.
Rosie scratched Tina behind the ears, enjoying the new dog

Tina smiled and licked Rosie's hand, happy to finally have a human care about her, she'd never had that before.
Jenna smiled to Balto. "She's nice, did I miss anything exciting other than you rescueing her?"

Rosie smiled wider, her hand wet.
Balto shook his head. "No, nothing much," he said, smilng back, his eyes happy.

Tina smiled to her and gave a happy bark.
Jenna smiled. "You're good mate." she said. "I'm glad we met."

"So am I," Balto said softly, his passion for her burning brightly and clearly in his eyes.

Balto smiled, agreeing completely with that simple statement. "I guess we are," he said, then nuzzled her gently.

"Oh and what about what happened with Sally and Steele?" asked Tina.
Jenna blinked. She gave Balto one of those looks that said 'tell me now'.

Balto blinked. Of course Tina had to bring that up, he thought. "It was nothing Jenna." he said. "It was just Steele being Steele, and Sally helping a little, that's all." It wasn't that Balto wanted to lie and hide it, but he didn't want to frighten her by telling her about another one of Steele's antics. She already knew and was frightened by the thought of Steele using her against Balto.

"So she skunked him?" asked Jenna with a smirk. "You know, its reassuring you somehow befriended a skunk." she said. "I don't know how you did it, you're the only dog I know that has, but it makes me feel better she's there to help with Steele...he's just getting so...crazed."

"But still, now he stinks to high heavens, how many times has Sally had to do that?" asked Jenna.

Balto's eyes narrowed as he recalled all the times Sally and Steele had clashed. "I don't know, maybe 10?" he said, cocking his head.
