A growled rumbled deeply in Takoda's throat. "Lynx!" he snarled, his voice quivering with rage. "While I may hurt you now, I would be no better than you! Mother Nature shall hear about this, do I make myself clear?!" He snapped his jaws threateningly in front of Lynx, as he knew every animal in the forest feared being punished from Mother Nature. And kind as she was, he animal punishment was far worse than anything she could do to punish humans. Far worse than hurricanes and floods, fires and lightning. "Now leave here before I snap your neck, you hardheaded fool!"

Lynx whimpered and ran off in sheer terror.
Connor moaned. "Thank you..." he muttered, still in terrible pain from the low blow and unable to stand. "Man this hurts...why'd he have to go a kick me there of all places?"

Takoda sighed. "Lynx is only one of the creatures who'd wish to make you suffer for what you and your men were to do. You'll have a lot to do in order to gain the forest creatures' trust and turn human once more." He looked down at Connor with worry. "But enough of that, is it possible for you to get back to the den?"

Connor moaned, trying to stand up, despite the pain. He stood wobbly. "No, I'm fine continueing hunting, just a bad place to get kicked is all." he said, despite his face bleeding from the scratch.

Takoda looked at him wearily. "no, I'll continue to hunt, you should go back to the den. Come, I'll take you back," he said, trotting off at a steady pace, then slowing a bit for Connor.

Connor followed him, putting one paw to his groin with a moan. "Man that hurt..." he muttered. "Just for future reference, though hopefully I wouldn't need to, how does a wolf naturally react to getting kicked in the groin? Just incase someone does that again, I want to act like what I'm learning to be...I hope you changed Lynx's mind about hurtting me."

"A wolf would yelp, as in humans would scream and moan. He would then turn to the enemy and either attack, if he can get back up from the wounds, or act submissive in hopes that he is not killed." He looked at Connor. "And don't worry about Lynx. He'll have Mother nature's punishment to worry about. That is, if I contact her.." he whispered vaguely.

"It is hard to tell, but have faith that time will heal it quickly," Takoda said, inching closer to the den. "Her we are. Now, stay here, lick the wounds clean, and put a bit of dirt into them, it will stop the bleeding for now. I'll snatch a rabbit, seeing as hunting is out of the question now." And with that, Takoda disappeared through the mist.

Connor did as instructed, in a human frame of mind, rubbing dirt in a wound was a way to get it infected but he did it anyway.
Sally followed Takoda. "So...want me to skunk Lynx?"

"If you wish, but you'll be no better than he is," Takoda replied simply. He then padded along. Seeing a rabbit, he darted after it, and snapped his strong jaws around it's neck, killing instantly. He brought back the rabbit and laid it in front of Connor. "It may not be your human food," he said, thinking Connor might find it repulsive, "but it is better than starving. Besides, this is what wolves eat if they cannot bring down a large, hoofed animal." Takoda licked his lips of the blood and waited for Connor to finish eating.
