Tails flew in and met with Blaze and Silver. "Shadow's gone!" he cried. "He's gone and I don't know where he went!"

Silver looked up to see Tails, and when Tails told them that Shadow had left the building without them, Silver frowned. "We have to find him, who knows what he'll do if he finds Scourge.." He muttered "Or even worse..what Scourge is gonna do.."

"Since Scourge has the Syrrian," Blaze realized, "there's no way Shadow can win! It's impossible! We have to find out where they went and fast, before it's too late!"

"He's gonna get himself killed..cmon." Said Silver checking Blaze's little device with the red and the blue dots on it. "Looks like Scourge went north." Said Silver, he looked at Blaze. "Ready to go when you are."

Blaze ran along side Silver and Tails. "Okay, Silver, where to?" she asked.

Tails jumped into the air and flew beside Silver and Blaze. I hope we're not too late already... Tails thought.

MEANWHILE!

Shadow hit the ground hard, for Scourge's strength was far more powerful now more than ever. Shadow tried to push himself up off the ground, but Scourge jumped on top of him and stood on his back.

"Face it!" Scourge laughed. "You lose! I've got the ultimate power now, and you... have nothing!" he laughed maniacally, then used the Syrrian to smack shadow in the head with. "This thing's heavy, isn't it, Shaddy-boy? And yet... 'tis a shame... you could have brought your dear, dear Maria back." he pretended to be overwhelmed with sadness, then he blurted, "Oh well!"

Silver quickly peeked at the card Blaze held. "East." He said quickly, turning to the right and running east. "I hope we're not too late.." He muttered under his breath. Even though Shadow and Silver sometimes hated eachother, Silver would never wish a slow and painful death on anyone, not even his worst enemy.

Scourge stepped on Shadow's head, all the while talking about how he overthrew 'the ultimate lifeform'.

I... failed. Shadow thought. I failed and now the entire world will pay for my mistake.

At that moment Silver, Blaze and Tails arrived at the scene. "Let him go or else." Silver snarled. "You're outnumbered..I suggest you let him up and give us the syrrian."

Scourge answered in a fake, whiny voice, "Oh no! I'm outnumbered! I'd better give them the Syrrian so nobody gets hurt!" Then, in a normal voice, said, "In your dreams!" as he channeled light red power stalks through the Syrrian and into his hands, then spread out through the entire body. His body glowed, and he jumped over Silver, Blaze and Tails, leaving a streak of red and green behind him.

Silver stared wide-eyed, but his blank expression soon turned to that of an angry one. Silver bared his teeth and glared at Scourge. 'What is he up to now?' Thought Silver, watching Scourge's every move. 'This guy is getting on my nerves..'

Scourge then channeled all the Syrrian's energy into a spinning red, green and yellow sphere in the palms of his hands. "Eat this!" Scourge yelled as he blasted the sphere into a beam of laser energy at the three.

Without thinking, Silver quickly pushed Blaze and Tails out of the way and took the hit, there was a small explosion. When the dust from the explosion cleared, Silver stood there, still and silent. But just when he seemed fine, he collapsed.

Blaze ran over to him and kneeled, trying to pick him up. "Silver!" she cried, but nothing made him concsious.

Scourge laughed and readied a bigger, more powerful beam for Blaze and Tails. "See what happens when you become pests?" he sneered. "Now you get yours!" He held his hands back, preparing to shoot to beam as hard as he could, when Shadow came out from what seemed like nowhere and punched Scourge in the face, grabbing the Chaos emerald. He held it in the air and shouted, "Chaos Control!"

Shadow found himself on the floor of the museum again, this time with Blaze, Silver and Tails by his side. He shook them awake and yelled, "Come on, we have to get moving before he finds out where we went!"

Silver opened his eyes, everything was blurry and all sound seemed very faint (kinda like in 'Medal Of Honor: Vanguard' when you get hit with a grenade lol). He got up slowly and remembered what had happened just moments ago. 'I don't know why..but, I feel like..I'd do anything for Blaze, anything to protect her..' Thought Silver. He soon realised why he had taken the hit, he liked her..Like liked her.

ooc: I saw a video on youtube (I think it was a game cutscene) where Blaze is about to die because she had the flame 'iblis', Silver is almost in tears and then Silver says "But you're my friend..aren't you?" Then Blaze said. "You're still so naive..but..that's what I've always liked about you."
Hehe, it was quite sad, because after that, she faded then died.

Ooc:// GASP! I remember that scene! It was from Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 I believe, and it was the very end of the game before Sonic returns to put out the flame of Solaris. I'M SUCH A DORK! (But the coolest dork you will ever meet!)

As the cold tiles of the museum floor pressed against her, Blaze shot her eyes open and stood up quickly. She brushed herself off, then spotted Silver. She gasped and ran over to him and hugged him. "I thought you were dead!" she cried. "You could have died!"
