No, because she to me is pretty cool. To disobey your pare nts makes one fine lioness.

When I was younger I loved Kiara. But now I realize she was quite a brat. I just don't think she dealt with her situation very well. Instead she acted like a spoiled princess who is used to getting everything her way.

I always never liked Kiara since i was young because i always had a crush on Kovu xD he was like my idol and still is now lol.But i agree,Kiara is a spoil brat and always wants to do things on her own and make bad choices.Gosh she's so stubborn!

To admit, yes, I hate her! Really I just hate everything about her.

Look at this when Simba was younger:

Yes, sometimes he would act a bit like "I'm the King's son, so I can do anything!", but when Kiara is young she acts like it all the time.


Also she is all girly and weak, which I just can't stand, since I think that one day if you were to rule the country you need to be strong and fierce (like Vitani), to be able to be a good King/Queen.

Overall I think Disney should of kept to their original plan with Kopa being Simba's son, or if not, had Vitani as the princess. Just not Kiara!

Not that I'm disagreeing with your opinion, but I wanted to point out she wasn't really all that 'girly and weak' as you put it. Last ten or so minutes she DID stand between not only her father's pride, but but also Kovu's. That took courage and strength of character if anything. Sadly she didn't show that before the end of the movie, but she wasn't completely useless. I think at the end she was a stronger character, and at least with Kovu as king, they'll rule decently. *shrug* My two cents.

Two points that I object:

1) She knew that she wouldn't get killed in front of them all for she had all of the Pridelanders, plus Koch, to protect.

2) She didn't even fight, like in the last movie which actually put an end to it. Instead she just said a bunch of words in order to not fight and show how 'strong' she is.

Well, you don't need to fight to show you can be strong. And if she did literally fight, then the two prides would be fighting forever and lots of lions would die.

Yeah but at least in the second movie Simba actually proved to everyone that he was actually strong. And to be honest I quite liked that part when it was shown in slow motion, showing all his anger. Where as Kiara just says a bunch of words (and to be honest) I don't find that a really good way to end such an epic build up and climax.

I really don't like or dislike Kiara. To me, she's simply the product of a not-so-well done sequel. In her defense, Simba's overprotectiveness as he tried to prove himself a "good father" did nothing but stunt her character development. On the other hand, her deliberate disobedience through the entire film has always disturbed be (really Disney? Ariel was bad enough!)

As far as whether she was weak or not, choosing to stand between two fighting Prides took a different kind of strength. Being "strong" isn't always about knocking the other guy out.

So! I'd say that she's simply a "meh" character.

Overall I just really dislike Kiara. She's just not how I imagen a lion or a lioness for this matter. I just find her to be all 'girly' and also not sticking or striking back s a proper lion/ lioness should.

Granted, none of the characters behave how a "real" lion should. If Mufasa were a "real" lion, we'd never have seen Scar, and The Lion King wouldn't have been created. Also, Simba would've eaten Timon and Pumba long ago.

Kiara is good but reminds me too much of Aleu from Balto.

No not at all! I find her an interesting character, yes she disobeyed her parents a lot but what kind of a movie would it have been if she just did what she was told? it would be so BORING! Plus if she had never met Kovu then the attack from the outlanders would have been more brutal. She would never have stopped them and who knows who would have died along the way. I think judging her by her adventurous personality is just stupid. She is a very beautiful and interesting lioness. Nothing compared to Nala though
