Quote: * Spit on any concept that involves singing teenagers, who can't really sing. * Tell Miley Cyrus that she can't sing and strip her of any contact connecting her to his company * Whip his joke of a company into shape: you can be ORIGINAL, people! The only thing I hope is that this is a trend, and it won't last for too long. Most people are saying this is trash (look at the IMDB ratings!!) and yet they still sell / are viewed a lot. They won't stop making such "things" as long as there will be people interested in them. I'm sure one day their public will be fed up and will move to other, more interesting things.

I really think disney turned into a money buisness. they just want money really, not to entertain people. so they do not even think of good ideas and make tons of money for one movie, then make another and the last movie just goes downb the tubes.
that is my guess.

that is my guess. That argument is double edged if Disney creates entertainment that people want then they will make money and if they want more money then must continue to entertain someone. Disney should be able to do both but they turn to low quality and in theory should make less money but pre-teens and younger kids eat up there Disney Channnel stuff, so they profit.

Tink wrote: Maybe this calls for another Stitch movie a Tinker Bell TV show and maybe some new games like Tinker Bell for the Wii? Hint hint to the Disney company... I think I'd much rather see some new IP's. Lilo and Stitch was traditionally animated and I thought it was really well done (It took some 20 years to get from concept to film!), but I feel like they milked that series dry with what? Three movies AND a TV series. Interesting you bring up video games though Disney has been extremely active lately on that front with the acquisition of Wideload Games which is rumored to be helping assist the newly confirmed Wii exclusive "Epic Mickey" plus the new 360/PS3 game coming out soon called "Split Second" which looks amazing.

Unfortunately, what JC says is true. They will spend their allowance money (or beg their parents to spend their money) on this really uncreative stuff, and that's where at least the TV and music branch of Disney gets most of its money.
But, as will be stated in the upcoming SourceCast episode, don't worry about superheroes like Captain America or the Hulk becoming kid-friendly. Disney will still allow Marvel as much freedom with their movies as they had with their former film partner, Paramount Pictures. Despite this surprise acquisition, I still have pretty high hopes for the upcoming Captain America and Thor movies. The only difference you should be able to tell from previous Marvel films to upcoming Marvel films is that you see the Disney logo before the film instead of the Paramount logo (assuming all goes well. Disney, from what I understand, is just going to oversee stuff and not have a whole lot of influence).
I can't say much about the comic books, though. Granted, I do see a possibility of a comic about a little-known superhero saving the Jonas Brothers of Hannah Montana from a supervillain, but I don't see Stan Lee, or Marvel in general, stooping to that level.
