Rasputin heeded Bandit's words and sprinted off quickly into the mansion. It took him all his concentration to put one foot (or paw) in front of the other. He'd gotten enough of that tone from his creators, so why did he need it from her? He stopped angsting to bring out his steel helmet and bash through the door to the second floor.

The floor was neatly carpeted and perfectly painted, with multiple portraits that looked like just old men in powdered wigs hanging on the walls. With all those creepy eyes following him, Rasputin strutted down the halls when he came to an intersection. The main hall split in two, while one when right and one went left. He closed his eyes and flattened his ears, giving all sense to his nose. He picked up a faint whiff of a small velocraptor, and one he'd smelled before.

Aha! Min went this way! The saber threw himself down the hall, but then stopped abruptly. What was that rubbing sensation tingling on the end of his tail? And why did he smell something burning? He turned around and saw a wicking flame on the end of his tail. Of course! How could he have been so ignorant? Obviously a hallway with the big man himself, Ivanov, would be protected! Invisible lasers were everywhere!

Rasputin wanted to smack himself in the head for not thinking of this before, but he had an idea. The eye-holes on his helmet were covered by a transparent, red-colored tempered glass. Would it work as an infra-red camera? He brought his helmet back out until it fit snugly over his head, then started to look through the lenses.

Whoa... is all he thought when he laid eyes on how many lasers lay before him. They were especially heavy-threaded around those portraits and the doorknobs. There weren't many in the walking part of the hallway, and Rasputin guessed that because of the guards and such.

Ooc:// I'll post the other half tomorrow, 'cause I gotta go to work now!

Graer thought he wouldn't have much luck with his own problems, despite the fact that it was making the time pass rather quickly and the download seemed to be going faster than he thought it was. The automatons were above him, homing in on him and gaining fast. He'd left the proximity of the mansion, drawing the automatons out enough for whoever sent them out not to send any more. Looping up in the air, he attempted one more mad snatch at one of the automatons, latching on just behind the sonar sensor. He tried biting it off, but his small teeth still weren't enough to penetrate the metal. It was then the other automaton shifted its sensor to gaze at Graer. Recognizing the heat signal, it open fired. Immediately, Graer lept off the automaton just seconds before it was shot to pieces. In chunks of metal and wire that came raining down to the ground, it fell, as Graer flapped to regain altitude.

The second automaton had locked onto Graer and Graer shifted a sharp turn right as it shot out a stream of automatic bullets at him. He could hear the whistling of them pass just narrowly over his head.

"Come at me, will you?" he growled, as he lifted his sights and flew in a vertical line straight up at the sky. Obediently, the automaton followed. Right as Graer and the automaton were straight ahead of one another, Graer thought up an order and his backpack blinked to life. A small pop resounded as a mini-frag grenade was ejected from his pack and plummeted straight down at the automaton.

Graer, who couldn't even look back, only heard the explosion. And the tinkering of metal. A bright light flashed behind him, and after that instant, the threat of attack had passed. "Whoo!! Suck on it," he shouted as loudly as he could, temporarily forgetting that his communications were still on.

Before long, Graer had settled down on another perch and pulled up the team specs and the download progress again. 87%. In no time, the download would be complete and he'd have control of nearly every automated process in the mansion. Calling up the team's locations, it surprised him at how split up everyone had become. Seeing that Bandit had somehow made it to the top floor, he repositioned his mic and spoke as if he'd been there all along. "Alright, freaks, listen up. In a couple minutes, the download will be complete. If that Russian schmuck is on the top floor, Bandit's got him covered. Rasputin and Min, the two of you need to remain on the lower levels to ensure a safe getaway. Once I get the p.roxy server up, I can unlock any doors in your way and disable the automatons. It'll be up to you guys to take care of any ground units standing in your way."

Min listened to what Graer said, at the same time, sniffing as she thought she smelt Rasputin somewhere far behind her. Deciding that Rasputin could live with the lasers, Min continued on, heading over to one of the staircases that lead upstairs. She sat at the bottom, guarding it, all her senses tuned to the floor above her.
She sat like this for a while, before hearing something behind her.

"oh, great" She muttered "Looks like I've got company." They hadn't seen her yet, so she quickly ducked under a near-by coffee table.
"Okay, head to the left staircases, We'll head for the right staircases, Corner this thing, don't let it get away, and whatever you do, don't let it get anywhere near the master. You'd better send a couple of automatons to guard the elevators, staircases and any obvious means of escape as well, but our first priory is our master.....
A man who was talking into a communicator device seemed to be giving orders to another group. Min looked around the side of the tablecloth, planning on a surprise attack. She stopped and clicked her tongue at the size of the group.
"Bandit, they're sending two groups up both staircases to try and corner you." Min informed her over the communications device. "I'm about to take care of the group heading up the right staircases, so you'll only have to deal with the ones coming up from the left staircases. Of course they'll just send more, but I'm sure you can handle it."

With that, Min swept her tail out under as many of the group of guards as she could, before jumping out. Half were on the floor, the rest were wondering what was happening. Before they could report that Min was there via their communications devises, she jumped up high above them. Like dogs watching a treat, their eyes followed her. With a grin, she came down on them, killing three or four instantly with her claws and deactivating an android or two. Tuning quickly around, she was just in time to dodge an attack from one of the Androids.

Scowling, she once again lunged at the guards. The remaining of the group's bodies fell with a clunk, or a soft thud, depending on whether they were android, automaton, or human. Settling down under the table again, Min waited for the next group to come.

Rasputin Heard Graer speaking through the communication device. ...If that Russian schmuck is on the top floor, Bandit's got him covered. Rasputin and Min, the two of you need to remain on the lower levels to ensure a safe getaway... Hearing this, he kept his helmet on to see the lasers as he bounded down the perfect hallway. He skidded to a halt, ripping the carpet in the process, when he saw the disabled automatons and dead humans on the ground. Min was definitely here. He started to walk away again, then began running down the corridor once more.

Dodging the green and crimson threads of heat, he sprinted. He got hit one or two times, but he could barely feel them anymore. He stopped at a door that wasn't so guarded. Was it a trick? Is it like that to make someone think there's nothing important in there? Or is it a trap? If it isn't guarded, someone might go in and be greeted by a waterfall of bullets. Out of curiousity, Rasputin pressed his raggedy ear to the door. He heard... voices. There were people in there. Or at least, that's what they wanted robbers to think, whoever 'they' are. This is what he heard:

Don't say that, Denzel. Everything's under control.
But sir, I-
What did I tell you?
To keep them away, but sir-
Don't 'but sir' me! I told you to get those beasts out, and you're all still here! What's wrong with this picture?
You're not seeing the danger, sir! Those animals are trained and violent, and-
No excuses! Find them and destroy them now!
*sigh* Yes, sir.

Rasputin knew something was up. He was about to leave when he heard,

Here's where the smaller dinosaur is. We can take care of that one easily. The larger one already has reinforcements after it, and... wait... the tiger's right outside? Go go go!

He heard a hustle of feet, then decided to make a run for it. He gripped the ground with his claws, using every bit of his energy to get as far away as possible, or to corner those idiots and put an end to them. "Min," Rasputin growled into his communication device. "They're sending officers after you, so be on your guard!" With that, he ducked into a closet and hid behind the door as a dozen men in uniforms whizzed past.

"Piece of cake."

During all of the commotion and shooting, Bandit had made her way up the staircase onto the floor directly above the heavily guarded one. She'd felled everything up there within half a minute before any communication could be sent again. Something was going on...it was almost like they'd been expecting the attack and prepared fairly well for them. She glanced around, looking for anything else around as simulated blood stained her teeth. The coast seemed clear, but so far things weren't going as well as she could have hoped. They would definitely get low marks for all of these mistakes.

But they might at least get points for originality, she thought as she grinned. With a loud thunk, she dug her right sickle claw into the floor. Half of the organic covering (the "real" part of her claw) chipped away to reveal the sharp, knife-like tenadium beneath. She started sawing away at the floor quickly, not worrying about the noise or making it neat. It was like cutting butter, but she didn't let it go all the way through. Once she'd made a circle about where the guards would have been standing (though they'd probably moved because of the noise) she scooted back and then slammed her body into the floor.

With another loud crack the floor/ceiling of the two hallways fell through to the third story, the edge clipping one guard in the head and knocking him out cold. The rest were luckier, having already moved far enough away. Of course, as soon as Bandit rolled onto her feet, they weren't feeling so lucky. Bullets rained down on her again, a few clipping her extremities as she darted at them, tail whipping through the first line with ease and claws following. Blood coated the walls, floor, and her body. The second line was almost too stunned to react. One brave soul took aim at her again right before she pounced and grasped his head in her jaws, twisting viciously and dropping the body. Another managed to miss as her tail smacked him in the face. The rest pretty much followed suit and found themselves with claws or teeth in their chests before they saw no more.

Her sanguine eyes gazed at the mess she'd made and she shook her head, wet life flying onto the walls a little more. She still looked like a monster from any point of view, but at least the way to the door was now clear. And about time too. She shouldered her way into it, ignoring the sting of the lasers in the door frame. It came loose and she stepped through to meet the cowering faces of a woman, child, and Ivanov himself. She took a light sniff of the air, and the fear and sweat scent was strong. She tried not to enjoy it too much as she strode up to them.

"Finally, we can get this ridiculous mission over and I can chew out that cat. You'd better be the real one," she said audibly and icily in Russian, but with a reptilian accent as always.

The woman pulled her son close to her, covering his vitals with her arms and Ivanov moved to stand in front of her, pulling a gun out of his pocket.

"You did not think I'd go down that easily did you?" he shouted angrily and fired. The woman screamed.

She dodged and tripped him with her tail, flipping the gun out of his hand in her second movement. Within another instant she had her foot atop his chest, glaring at him directly in the face. "Slow, human." She pushed her claw deep into his stomach cavity, meeting a rib or too and cracking them easily. "Real bone. Guess that means I win," she said smirking, and plunged the claw further. He lurched violently before dying and the woman screamed again in terror, grabbing her son and yanking him toward the door. Bandit grabbed the woman's midriff in her teeth and crunched it until she too crumpled onto the floor, then grabbed the son's head in her hands and twisted. It was over for him quickly and painlessly.

The gigantic velociraptor continued as if she hadn't stopped moving and walked out the doorway into the hall, stepping over bodies without even looking at them.

"Mission accomplished. Something still doesn't feel right though. Kill everyone else you find alive and return to the rendezvous point. Leave the androids, it's not our job to pick them up."

Ooc: K, so after we totally finish the simulation (if there's something else anyone really wants to do) I'm going to need to slow the plot down a little to plan out the next mission a little better, since this one was mostly improvised and kinda went a little hectic. It'll be better next time. Sorry I rushed it too, I was anxious to get some character development in, which will come into play as they get to start spending more together to get to know each other with (and without) the scientists knowledge. Primarily the without their knowledge stuff will happen in their cells with the communicators which the scientists either don't think will work in the building (except in the sim room) or think that Graer has already collected them. Either way, they'll make use of them later, and I'm sure the insults will fly and it should be funny, XD. This doesn't mean we won't post also, since the plot will be going a little more slowly, it just means you get more chances to develop your character and their relationships with everyone else.

Graer had a clear view of each of his team mates on the comm lines that were now connected to every system in the mansion. While Rasputin and Min were busy keeping the coast clear for their escape, it left Bandit alone to deal with the matter at hand. Graer knew she was more than capable, but even so, he pulled up the nearest security camera feed to check up on her.

He was sure he had something snide to say to each of them, but when he had fixed his sight and attention on the ravaging velociraptor, he immediately forgot. Instead, Graer watched in silent dismay at the carnage being laid out before him, nearly closing the feed. But he knew HQ was monitoring their every move they made, and so he watched. It took more effort to keep clear sight of Min, and as much as Graer tried to control everything he found himself thinking, the chips implanted in his brain would record his thoughts, and so he wiped them clean to try and concentrate on nothing else but the necessity of Bandit's measure.

Finally, the last line of defense was reduced down to the mother and her child. At this, Graer closed out of all his other windows and zoomed in.

And then he watched. Silently. And did nothing as Bandit disposed of both of them.

The moment was lost suddenly, as the team realized the reality of their situation. Graer ruffled his feathers and cleared his throat noisily into his headset. Pulling back all his previous windows, he instantly became aware of each of their locations. His voice came forced. "A emergency beacon was set off. Reinforcements are en route with ETA six minutes. Rasputin, Min. Get out of there. Go through the kitchen door you came in through. Rendezvous at the field you were briefed in in five minutes."

He figured Bandit could take care of herself.

Rasputin heard static come through his comm. device, but he could make out a few words...
Emer...ency...set off...re...forcements...six minutes...Rasputin, Min...out of there...five minutes...
And that's when everything stopped completely. He knew that if he lost contact, he lost his position, and then his life. He decided to get out the way he came in; through the steely, metallic kitchen. He whipped around the corner he was hiding behind when he was hit by a wall of a strong scent. A scent of blood. He was already going down that way, and as he tramped down the hall, he came to the spot where the scent was coming from. However, there was nothing there. He looked up at the ceiling, whispering, "Bandit must've killed quite a few people up there." If a scent was this strong, she must've slaughtered over five humans.

A purer, more young scent entered his nostrils. Rasputin widened his eyes. "Killing children?" he breathed in disbelief, "Is this what it's come to?" he shook his head and continued on his way. Meanwhile, he was thinking about that young scent of blood. Is she really that sick to kill a child? he thought. How is a little kid such a threat to us anyhow? Boy, what have I gotten myself into? He turned a corner and rushed down the stairs to the first floor. If he had to get to the field in less than five minutes, then he didn't have time to worry about anyone seeing him. There was no one around anyway. When he came to the ground floor, there was a room. He didn't stop running, even though he noticed that there was no door that led to outside. He took a quick glance around, then focused his gaze on the wall that was rushing up to meet him. He unfolded out his helmet as quickly as possible, then smashed through the wall, flinging crumbs of plaster and wood everywhere. When he realized he was outside, he slowed to a trot. "The mission's finished?" he whispered to himself. He folded up his helmet and stored it away underneath his artificial skin once more.

Min got Graers message through the device in her mouth and began to head out of the building.
On the way out, she smelt quite a bit of blood - including that of a young human, a child.
It was only a simulation, but... Min blocked the scent out instantly, her hesitation not lasting even a split second.

She saw Rasputin rush past and decided to head out the same way as he was. She broke into a speeding run, stopping when she came to the hole in the wall. She chuckled darkly to herself. Well, if there's no door, why not make one? She thought she;d rather let Rasputin be the one to bash the walls in with his head, though.

she'd rather not end the mission with a headache, if it could possibly be avoided. Her legs sped her to the rendezvous point, where she skidded to a stop next to Rasputin.

Bandit heard Graer's voice come over the communication device and sagged a little internally. More company? Well, she supposed that was what hadn't felt right about the mission. This was a factor beyond their control, though she was sure that somehow they'd get yelled at for it. She walked down the stairs to the window her body had so wonderfully smashed earlier and leapt out of it. The fall wasn't a great one, since she was only on the second story, and she automatically braced for the impact. The jolt of striking the ground was all she felt, and soon she was running across the yard, to the hole in the fence, and toward the rendezvous point. She got there a little more slowly than before, thanks to the minor injuries she had managed to sustain. Nevertheless, she looked at them and murmured, "Decent job. But we've still got a lot of work to do."

The scene began to change almost instantly - the black of the night began to shimmer before their eyes, quickly being replaced by the gray-white of the paneled walls, which on the side of the room the house had been on, were gradually pulling in and resetting themselves, with barely a scratch despite the massive amounts of damage they'd inflicted on the objects they'd simulated. The blood that didn't belong to Bandit cleared off her body, as if a large invisible vacuum had just cleaned her. This would happen to the rest of them as well, and any remnants from the simulation clinging in the room were soon gone, ready to be used again.

A voice came over them from above again. "Sloppy, but you accomplished the mission within the set parameters. Well done for the day, at least. And good job cleaning up any loose ends. You'll all be escorted back to your rooms now, to rest. You'll meet again in the morning to get to know each other better and discuss what went wrong in the mission and begin to think on how that can be improved, as well as begin to plan for the next mission, simulation or not."

All was quiet for a moment before the nearly invisible door hissed open and their handlers filed into the room. Some kind of strange smile spread across her lips, and to any onlooker, it might seem foreign in the place it now resided. She walked up to the brunette-haired man willingly, her smile only falling when she took note again of that remote-like device around his neck. It annoyed her so greatly, even though she knew it was better that they have it. She walked toward him willingly turning only once to give a half wave at the others. "See you in the morning, I suppose." She'd gotten so used to the feel of the communicator, that she forgot she even had it with her still.

They moved quickly through the door and back down the corridor, Bandit staying close to the man like before. This time they took a slightly altered course back to her enclosure, however, and when she turned to ask about it, the man smiled apologetically.

"We have to go this way for now. When I brought you by some of the other pens earlier, it spooked some of the smaller creatures we have, especially those who aren't even close to being ready." He said this right as they were passing a pen with a rather large Deinonychus in it. It had also had its size enhanced, like her, and it paced the length of glass anxiously. When it saw her, it got a disgruntled look on its face. She couldn't say she blamed it. Soon enough they were passed his pen, and she tried to ignore all the others.

[Posting orders are difficult to remember, apparently. XD Sorry, I'll try to be more on the ball. ^^']

Graer had sped back to the rendezvous point and was eying the team critically as the scene morphed back to the familiar simulation room. As the tree he was perched on dissipated, he lept off and landed roughly on the ground. He felt himself sink as a small beeping sound marked the deactivation of his equipment. He was back to being the most vulnerable out of them all, and he pressed himself farther away from the others, silently hoping they'd overlook the snide comments he made earlier.

When it was announced they they would be escorted back to their rooms and meet again in the morning to discuss how the mission went, he slumped farther into the ground, his wings dragging limply across the floor as a slight groan escaped him. It was then Graer's own handler came into the room, his presence announced by the hissing sound of the sliding doors. He gestured for him to follow him out with a faint smile. Which was unusual. "Well done, Graer."

"Up yours!!" Graer shrieked angrily as he landed on his handler's shoulder. "They're all bigots, the lot of them!! I'm surprised anything got done at all!! And that," he flapped, pointing a wing at Rasputin. "Keep that thing as far away from me as humanly possible!! Him and Bandit too. Some leader she proved to be. And Min, while you're at it. I loathe them all!! Inconsistent, bumbling, primeval BAFOONS, they are!! I have never seen such negligence..."

As Graer ranted, his handler nodded back to all the other humans before quitting the room, Graer's caustic voice fading out in the background...

Rasputin snarled, baring his fangs when Graer flapped his scrawny, fleshy wing at him. As Graer's handler took him away, the saber narrowed his eyes and commented, "Thinks he's so big. I could eat him in one bite, but then my handlers wouldn't let me have my next meal." Rasputin looked back at Bandit and Min. "He tries to blame us for how the mission went, but we were only following his orders." He ended his sentence with a huff of disappointment.

As Blakeck and Hammermin entered the room with a leash they used to capture stray dogs, Rasputin lowered his ears and looked at them with a bored expression. Blakeck told Hammermin something, as it looked like they were having a conversation before they arrived here. "-and then I said, 'Who cares?' and then he said-" "We should probably get Razzy here back to his unit-" Hammermin interupted, but before he could finish his senence, Rasputin swiped a mighty paw and caught his legs, then tripped him. The larger man fell with a thud, and Rasputin calmly replied, "Don't call me Razzy or the next time you do those will be your last words!" His voice got louder as the sentence went on, then glared at the man on the ground as Blakeck slipped the leash around the tiger's neck. Rasputin didn't bother to struggle, because he wanted to go anyway.
