Time to get serious about moderator coverage

It's been said the captcha thingo might be broken, so as a temporary solution, why not make new members wait about two hours or something after registration to post new topics? They could still post in existing ones though. As far as I've seen these bots are only thread-creating ones, not posting ones. It's something I've seen done on other forums and could very well work.
