Krene huddled back from the scene. She'd seen battles before, but this... this was just chaos. All around her, Pokémon were throwing attacks at one another, she could hardly tell who was against who. Right before she left the Pokémon Center, the nurses said that they would call the police. Seeing the disguised trainers start to recall their Pokémon meant that they must be close by. Thank goodness, this whole battle (if she would call it that) was getting much too out of hand. In the past couple of minutes, she had seen more legendaries than some do in their whole lifetime.

She was proud of her Flygon and its direct hit of an Aerial Ace on the Gallade that had teleported her and a few other Pokémon a distance away from the battle. She had a difficult time seeing it as an act of courtesy when all else around her was spiraling out of control. And when the Gallade countered with a Close Combat, she knew full well that these Pokémon were altered somehow. A flying-type attack with the force Flygon dealt should have been enough to faint it. And combined with the damage it had already taken... it was the only logical explanation.

Somehow, Kyrene had just enough sense in her to take full advantage of the opportunity before it passed her by. While the Gallade was distracted with trying to Protect from the incomming beam that the Latias shot at it, she dashed her way across the battlefield to it, digging into her pocket for a sample srynge she just happen to have with her. Under the cover of Flygon's sandstorm, she was nearly invisible.

Constantly repeating to herself that she must be out of her mind, she had to find some way to get close to one of the dark legendaries without being spotted... or at least killed. And now that the Dark Latios had flown off somewhere high in the sky, that only left the bumbling Regigigas with its equally dreadful trainer.

She looked up at the buzzing shadow flying across the sky. "Flygon," she hollered up to it. "Give me some cover!"

Hearing the order, the Flygon quickly disengaged from attacking the Gallade, and focues its power on giving Kyrene the edge she needed to get close to the Regigigas. The sandstorm began to pick up again, flinging dirt and debris around at any Pokémon within Kyrene's close proximity. A large chunk of a piece that had broken off from the Pokémon Center slammed into the Regigigas, throwing off the trainer it had perched in its massive hand.

No significant damage was done to the Regigigas, although it did stop moving and quarter-turned to the trainer that was hurled off.

Now was the time. Kyrene had read up on all the different sorts of legendaries, and in nanoseconds, she quickly scanned her brain of everything she'd read or studied about where she ought to prod the Regigigas; its exterior was harder than steel, it seemed, and its six eyes appeared to be all-knowing. She was sure it had seen her.

Just as she was about to run away, her Flygon darted out from the sandstorm and fell upon the Regigigas in a fury of Dragon Claw attacks. The Regigigas, annoyed, tried to swipe at it in turn.

The cover was enough for Kyrene to quickly make her decision and reached out to prod the Pokémon's backside with her srynge, taking in a small sample of the Dark Regigigas into the vial.

It was then, the Pokémon's massive hand connected with her Flygon, effectively swatting it clear off of it while its trainer appeared to be getting back on his feet. Her flygon skitted across the ground, and was still, unmoving. Fainted

The Regigigas looked rabid. Even wild Pokémon weren't this out of control. It looked about ready to turn strike her, and Kyrene quickly stashed the sample back into her pocket and skittered away, but not before quickly recalling her Flygon back into its Pokéball.

Too scared to look back, Kyrene stumbled to the edge of the battle and stopped to catch her breath.




Razza hummed lightly to himself, seeing what trouble the Pokémon below were getting themselves into. And for what? The sandstorm subsided, and he could now see that the local law enforcement was now starting to make their way to the scene. How disappointing, he thought. But at the same time, he couldn't really call what was happening a battle to begin with. It actually kind of bored him. He did, however, take note of all the faces he'd seen. Particularly the legendaries and the scared little girl dodging around the battlefield.

OOC: Gallade isn't infected, he's normal. He's just at a high level, remember that Empira is second in command of the group afterall.

XP Well it looks like I'll have to go back and do some editing... it's so difficult to keep up when everything's this chaotic. Anyway, I just finished, but I understand now that Kyrene's Flygon is now infected, right? [It's not immune]

Well, go ahead and skip my turn for now, since I just went back and edited my last post; i also had a question there as well.

OOC: Ok, then my turn I guess.

Empira smiled at the girl. To an extent, the virus made them loyal to Team Dark Night, it was how it'd help them take over the world of course, he knew Flygon was now loyal to them. "Flygon, come." he ordered, causing the now infected Flygon to come out of its Poke Ball and stand next to him, he used a Full Restore on him. "You have no idea what's going on here little girl and you never will." he said. "Flygon, kill her." he ordered, causing Flygon to attack his former master. "Gallade, take us away." he ordered, resulting in Gallade teleporting Empira, Regigigas, and himself away, leaving Flygon to attack the others.

"They're using some kind of virus on Pokemon, I don't know how it works but apparently, some Pokemon aren't effected and that somehow endangers their plan, something about their blood has to do with a cure, I think." said Brook.

"It didn't effect me, if that's why they injected me with." said Miki.

Thomas growled to himself, disappointed that he, again, missed his target. He began to curse under his breath, but he thought that it was the speed he had been flying that may have caused the Aero Blast to miss, but either way he was not satisfied at all. The young Lugia had high hopes in finally accepting that he was capable of fending for himself all by himself; however the fight with the Pigeot did provide him with some confidence that he could always try again. Remembering the small ramble, he grew even more determined to prove to himself that he was worthy to be called an adult Pokemon and a smile creased his lips. Thomas was slightly caught off guard when the Gallade counter attacked with a Psycho Cut and abruptly changed his flight pattern to dodge, but the Pikachu on his back was paying very close attantion and easily deflected it with with Thunder. He sighed with relief and decided he should take his passenger back down to the earth.

In one fell swoop, the young Lugia glided towards the ground and landed safely a few feet beside the young nurse before the Gallade teleported himself, along with its master and his goons, away. Thomas leaned forward so the Pikachu could hop back onto the ground, but he was quickly stopped when he noticed that the Flygon had gone completely mad and was attempting to attack its master, the young nurse. He growled and swiftly leaped in front of the girl in a defensive posture, outstretching his wings and his throat vibrating with a warning growl.

The Dark Latios was too exhausted to fly a great distance, in fact he only made it about twenty feet from the Pokemon Center before he blacked out and crashed into the ground. In his blind fury he wasn't able to identify friend from foe; in this case his friend was the Dark Regigigias and his foe was everyone else that had not been infected by the virus. It was strange though, the virus effected Mello in a completely different manner, he was actually able to escape his master, the man whom had personally infected him with the virus. Deep down he was very confused but his alteration had made him different from regular Pokemon nonetheless.

There he lay, helpless and unable to move. He was an open target and there was nothing he could do.

Kyrene didn't stop running. She knew something had altered her Flygon, but there was no way she could've made any sense of anything in that ruckus. She had the sample, and as much as it pained her to leave her Flygon behind, there was nothing she felt she was capable of doing to get it back to her side. Her heart pounding up in her throat, she took a quick glance backward and gave a half-gasp-half-sob as she saw her own Flygon charge at her as if it had completely forgotten who she was. Already its green and red color scheme was beginning to darken, and its eyes seemed... foreign.

Passing through the mess, the scarred Pikachua and a Lugia quickly came to her defense, but she didn't stop running. To her, all these Pokémon and all these so-called "trainers" were mad.

Flygon cried with outrage as the Pikachu and the Lugia blocked its way from its target. Its evasion still raised, it tilted its angle a little to dodge the Pikachu's Quick Attack. With the sandstorm still whirling around them, it dipped its wings into the ground, and hard tremors could be felt from underneath the surface in a rocking Earthquake attack.

Meanwhile, the sirens off in the distance were getting louder. In only a few minutes, the police would arrive.

Brook ran over to Gemini. "Stop, he's infected." she said. "Riolu, you're the only one we're sure is immune, so you'll need to help with that Flygon."

Miki nodded. She saw the human was about to be hit by the Earthquake. She jumpped at her and picked her up, jumping over the shockwave. Stay here. she said with telepathy. She jumpped at the Flygon and used Force Palm on its head, knocking it back, the attack seemed strong than normal.

OOC: I hope its ok that Miki can communicate with Telepathy, Lucario did it in the movie and all. How do they cure Dark Pokemon? Does their blood need to be used or do they just need to defeat them?

This time, Thomas was ready and fully focused on his current purpose; he had to bide the girl some time to escape before her Flygon got to her. It was only then when he got a good look at the now infected Pokemon that he wasn't normal, something had cuased a dramatic change in both personality and appearance. It had been infected with the virus that the Latios and Regigigias already had and now it had turned on its own master. The young Lugia had no knowledge that he was immune to this virus, for he didn't know that the Pigeot that he had fought earlier was also infected and that he didn't succumb to the infection in the wounds inflicted upon his back. He was lucky, but the fact that he hadn't gone completely insane blocked any and all thoughts of giving up for fighting to save the innocent.

He watched curiously as the Pikachu darted forward in a Quick Attack, keeping his eyes locked on the predicted pattern she had taken to hit the Flygon, but at he looked on he realized that the infected Pokemon easily dodged before landing on the ground. Thomas squinted his eyes in hopes that he'd be able to see clearly through the sandstorm, but the debris carried on the strong gusts buffed and battered his body, making it hard to stay focused. Nonetheless, his dark violet optics watched as the Flygon's wind dug into the earth and in no time Thomas began to feel small tremors coursing underneath his feet from an Earthquake attack. Thinking quickly, the young Lugia flapped his great wings and hovered just a few feet from the ground and in the process the disturbance in the air created by his wings deflected some, if not most, of the debris within the sandstorm around him.

Suddenly he looked to the distance in which he caught the growing sounds of sirens. 'This isn't good...' Thomas atmitted to himself before he glanced back down at the Flygon, trying to formulate a plan of an easy and safe escape. The only thought that came to mind was to grab the girl and fly away, but that would leave the Pikachu all alone to fend for itself and if anything bad happened while hwas fleeing with the young nurse the Pikachu would be helpless. All this turmoil was giving the young Lugia a headache, but he had to make up his mind fast before it was too late. 'If we fly away, the humans may spot us and try to track us down. Maybe hidding in the forest would be the best idea.' Thomas thought to himself before taking up the opprotunity. He reached out and grabbed the Pikachu gently by the tail before turning towards his back and setting her on his back before he turned towards where he had last seen the girl, and upon realizing that she had disappeared Thomas had thought of the inevidable.

'She got captured!?' The young Lugia cried in his mind, looking every which way in hopes that he'd spot the girl somewhere in the distance, still running. When he nearly passed over the young nurse, whom was now beside a Rilou, Thomas seized the moment and bolted in her direction before lightly grabbing the back of her clothes with his mouth and gliding into the thick forestry for cover, or at least he intended on grabbing her. Whether he did or not, he would try again if he had missed to get her to safety.

In the few minutes he had been unconcious, Mello had been slowly recovering. Although he was very tired, pent up energy still pulsed through his body, however, since he was unable to move there was no way he could react. His tired form was begining to tingle with life as the Dark Latios lay there, slowly absorbing every source of nutrients within himself to speed up the recovery process. It wasn't until a few other Pokemon discovered his unmoving form that he was slightly consious again.

He barely felt his head lift from the ground as a Latias began to heal him. Mello, keeping his eyes closed as to make himself appear unconcious, inwardly smirked, as he was pleased to find out that he could use this Pokemon's generosity to his own advantage. One of the effects of the virus constantly caused him to think sinister thoughts; once the Latias had fully recovered him, Mello would attack before escaping to cause more havoc among the Pokemon and their humans. It was a foolish plan, but the infection wouldn't allow the Dark Latios to do anything less.

After a good then minutes, Mello felt as energized as ever. His blood red eyes slowly opened before looking upon the Latias that he cured him of his unconciousness. He smirked before lifting his head with a growl; his body was still a bit shaken from his outrage and would take a few more minutes before he would be able to move properly. His black wings extended as he tried to lift himself into the air, but he only ended up falling back down onto the ground with a thud. "Get away from me!" Mello screeched, his face screwed up with a snarl. The Dark Latios knew that he wouldn't be able to escape the clutches of the humans that were on their way to the site of the battle, but he'd rather get captured by them, knowing he could easily destroy them and escape, than be saved by these do-good Pokemon.
