Jordan nodded at Carly's suggestion. "We need to form a larger perimeter around this place. We can't allow anyone except employees, doctors, and ER patients inside," he added, "which reminds me, you need surgery for that bullet wound. You'll need to go into surgery ASAP."
Jordan looked to the other paramedics, "get her into surgery prep. She's waited long enough."
"Yes, sir," they replied and lifted up the stretcher and began to wheel her towards the building. Armed escorts surrounded her, too, as other media members assaulted her with questions of things like "What happened?" and "who are the individuals being brought into the hospital?"

Will simply tried to avoid eye contact with anyone around him, hoping that he wouldn't come across as malicious or anything in the eyes of these people outside of the lab compound. He only urged Genesis to keep going after her tail was pulled, hoping he could communicate a message of trying to remain calm to make this all easier. "C'mon," he said, "just ignore them. We know well enough how much people deal with things they've never seen before..." he explained, referring to their time at the lab.

Hark snapped awake, his wings flapping madly before suddenly realizing he was up in a tree, and he grabbed the limb he was on, digging his curved nails deep into the wood. His eyes were wide, and as he struggled to regain his balance, a figure darting through the forest caught the corner of his eye. It zipped across the trees, evading them with wicked precision, and Hark leaned in closer on his branch to get a closer look. Its hunched over figure gave it a less human look, which meant it could only have come from one place.
The other experiment darted under Hark's tree, oblivious of him there. Hark's eyes narrowed as it began to leave its view. But he had no intention of being alone. Survival came in numbers, his instinct told him that. But some of these creations could react in unexpected ways. He decided to keep some distance before he made any decisions.
So as the creature traversed the terrain, Hark opened his wings and tailed after it, the silent wind keeping him lifted in the air.
