Dev didn't want to admit that he didn't want to leave quite yet. He really like being alone with Shay and watching the beautiful sunset. He slid off his leather jacket and placed it gently around her shoulders. Suddenly his emotions changed, he stared intently at her and suddenly put his forehead on her shoulder. "I'm sorry..." he whispered.

"For leaving..." Dev muttered, not wanting to move. "And for being a j*** a*** these last couple years...after i came back..." he swallowed and shut his eyes.

Dev's eyes widened at the realization an dhe couldn't help but feel releieved at Shay's words. "Thank you..." he whispered and stood up straight. Putting his hand under Shay's chin, he angled her head upward and slowly bent his lips toward hers. He kissed her lightly, then pulled back, waiting for her to make the next decision.

Dev smiled onto her lips, hoping that he would've gotten the reaction. He swung her around so her back was pressed up agains the railing of the bridge and he pulled himself closer to her, wrapping his arms tightly around her waist, his intensity grew along with hers and he couldn't seem to help himself.

Dev did his best to hold in a moan as Shay began kissing him more intesntly, his knees suddenly gave out and he sank to the floor, still holding Shay, but he only stopped to take another breath before he kissed her again. This time he pulled her as close as possible, moving his lips rapidly.

Dev gasped when he heard a car door slam. He pulled away from Shay and helped her up, smiling and pressing a finger to her lips "shh..." he said and winked.

"Shay!" Nat called as he ran up to the bridge. "There you are! I've been looking for you for hours! where have you be-" Nate's words were cut short when he saw Dev with her.

Dev whiped his mouth off with his hand and clamped it shut into a fist. He felt Shay stiffen and wondered what was wrong, sure they were just making out but she seemed afraid, of what Nate might do. "Hey Nate!" Dev raised his hand in greeting and grinned as Nate approached them both. If Nate got mad and the situation turned ugly, Dev was sure that he had it in the bag. It would be and easy, unfair fight, he thought to himslef.

Nate glared at Dev "who are you and why do you have Shay here..alone?" Nate asked, narrowing his eyes at Dev. "Are you bokay baby?" he asked as he ran over to Shay, wrapping his arms around her, not even noticing Dev's messy hair or Shay's loss of lip gloss.
