Freefall grinned slightly, he still had that child-like grin he had always had. "Yeah, always right." He muttered again, once more put into a trance because of her beauty.

"He was a goober and a bit of an idiot, but yeah..he was a great uncle..well he wasn't really my uncle, he was just my dad's only---I mean, best friend at the time." Replied Mistclaw, chuckling nervously. 'If Slipstream tells dad that I said that, I'm in big trouble....trouble with a capital 'T'...' Though Mistclaw.


ooc: DX I keep getting cursed with the dreaded writers block.

Dante looked back at Whitestorm before turning back to Scar, a pleading look in her eyes. Scar just sighed and looked at the two of them before giving off a slight smile. "If you wish to," he replied. "We came to warn the dragons that supposedly live here... Since the rumors are true and there are other dragons here, the Dark dragons and Light dragons are planning an alliance. If I may request, I want to speak with your leader. It's the only chance that we have for all dragons to survive!" Dante's eyes turned a bit more dull at the mentioning of the alliance, but he wanted to do his part. Scar looked back up towards Dante, now even more serious than ever. "Dante...I want you to go with Whitestorm. You can talk to their leader for me. I have some unfinished business to take care of..."

Wolfbane nodded and looked up towards the sky. "Let's go home," he finally said with a sigh. "If we're going to do something about it, then we have to act quickly. And Snow," he silently added, using her nickname, "...thank you for everything. You truly are a great mate to have around..."

Meanwhile, another black dragon, more younger than Scar, was laid out in front of the cave, waiting for his friend to come out. He had to talk with his sister, but he didn't want to do it alone. What could be taking him so long?... As he scowled to himself, he began to think back towards the days of his more younger self...when Scar had decided to leave his family behind for such a stupid reason... He gritted his teeth at the thought and was about to scream out to his friend in rage, but he relaxed again when he turned to see his slightly smaller friend come out of the den. "I told you I wouldn't be long..."

The black dragon snarled and stood back up. "Sometimes it feels like years, Tochiro," he replied sarcastically. "Now let's go! Emeraldas is not going to wait forever...."

Freefall shook his head as he realised he was falling behind, he ran up to Sunfire and walked at the same pace as her.

"Yeah, cmon...lets go." Agreed Mistclaw finally continuing through the mountains with Glacia and Slipstream.

Dante nodded and quickly followed after Scar. He took one last look at the only family he ever had before disappearing into the trees alongside Whitestorm. I just hope you know what you're doing...

Scar just closed his eyes and sighed heavily and he heard the two disappear. He then opened his eyes again and looked up towards the sky. So...it has begun. And with that thought, he sprinted off in the opposite direction, not even bothering to let what the female said get to him. I'll deal with Wolfbane later, but if I know who I think he is...then I better confront his father first... The legendary Thunderstorm! He continued on running straight through into Lighting Clan territory, never even stopping once.


Wolfbane smiled once again and nuzzled his mate in return. "That was true," he finally replied. "During the war, my father was as tense as ever...but I'm glad he finally understood in the end."

"Son," Thunderstorm said, turning to face his son. Wolfbane had felt the urge to flinch away, but he stood his ground and returned his father's stare. After a while, Thunderstorm's gaze finally softened and leapt down to meet his son eye-to-eye. "...Go." Wolfbane was shocked by the reaction, but Thunderstorm continued. "You belong with them...and with your new mate. I still have a few good hundred years left, so don't you ever worry about me. Just go...you were destined to be one of them anyway...."

The memory made a tear drop from Wolfbane's eye. He then shook his head clear and just sighed again. Such good days... If only they had lasted a little bit longer.

(Lol, I didn't really want to call him just bane or wolf because they sounded too lonely and aggressive . And Lone, *puts on weird voice* listen to my voice, get some more sleep, woooo *waves hands about*)

Slipstream didn't run, he didn't feel like running just now after what Mistclaw had said about his dead uncle. It just seemed unfair to him, one of the heroes who had stopped Thraklor was dead. But at least Thraklor was dead to, so maybe it was a bit fairer. He trotted alongside Glacia, keeping his thoughts away from his expression, but he didn't speak to her.

Snowspirit listened to Wolfbane carefully, but she could see he was thinking about something. As she saw the tear fall she nuzzled his under the chin and licked just under his eye to stop more tears, if he cried, so would she. 'I am very glad he understood, otherwise our lives could have turned out very differently. Maybe we should visit your father at some point, I think that would be good for you' she whispered softly.

Whitestorm slowed so she was walking beside Dante, she wanted answers, and he was the one to give them to her. She had noticed his longing glance at Scar before he had gone from their sight, and had felt a twinge of sadness for the strange male. 'So...uh, how did you meet Scar, and how long has he been your mentor’ she started, not really sure what to say now. She had wanted to ask everything about the two clans, about this alliance and what may happen, but mostly about the two new dragons she had met. But now, she wasn’t sure what to say without upsetting anyone, especially Dante as he was the only one here now.

Sunfire smiled warmly as Freefall caught up. They were nearly back and she just hoped that Wolfbane would be there, or Snowspirit at least so they could leave him a message. Her mind drifted back to when all this had first started and how lucky her sister was. A nice mate, four, at times, lovely kids, and now she was the leader’s mate. But when Sunfire thought about it, she had a nice mate too, and he had given up his position of leader for her which was something he can’t of done if he hadn’t loved her. She glanced sideways at Freefall, not turning her head, and wondered how he felt about her right now, and what was going through his mind.

(Hey guys, I probably shouldn't post it here but I was doodling a dragon (I do that a lot), and it ended looking a bit like Freefall. I call him Twilight, but he could be Freefall in a grump too.

Freefall smiled in a good-naturedly kind of way before looking at the ground and sighing. "I sometimes wish that things were a bit better, I wish dad was here, I wish mom was here and I wish Shadow was here too, said Freefall, smiling softly. "But you're all I'll ever need, nothing could replace you in my heart." He added.

Once they were half way up the largest mountain, Mistclaw looked around. "I don't see anything..wait, what are those black and white dots down there?" Said Mistclaw, trying hard to see what they were.

Wolfbane looked over at Snowspirit, at first with surprise, then with a relaxed, yet satisfied, smile. "You're right," he replied, nodding in agreement. "I would like to get together with him. I just wanted to know if he was doing alright..." He then sighed heavily and looked out towards the sea. It made him feel good...yet, he knew that there was something missing. "I want to see him as soon as possible," he added, "but right now, we have some business to take care of back home." He stood up again and turned. "We should get going..." As the leader, it was his duty to settle things with his own Clan before going off to visit another.

Dante just smirked as he thought back to when he was just a chick. "I've known him for a long time," he began. "I know him like no one else does... He found me in the forest when I was only two years old. I don't recall anything of how I got there, but the first memory that comes to mind was when he found me, all alone...in my little egg. I didn't know who I was or where I had come from. But he raised me, just like I was his own. It wasn't until I was older when he told me everything... About where he come from, about from where I came from... We've been together for fourteen years, if you can believe that..." He smiled once again as he looked up towards the sky, recalling the good old days...when it was just him and Scar.

Harlock just sighed heavily as he just listened non-stop to Tochiro's complaining. "Quit your whining!" he roared when he had finally heard enough. "We're entering enemy territory, so lay low." Tochiro grinned and nodded in reply. Harlock gave him a look before he came to a sudden stop. He couldn't help but feel that he was being watched, but he just shrugged it off as he saw his sister approaching...well, half-sister anyway. He gave off a light smile as he went on to meet up with a beautiful white female. "Hey, Emeraldas," he greeted. "I'm...really glad to see you again."

Emeraldas nodded and smiled back politely. "You too, Harlock," he replied. Then she laughed and turned to Tochiro as she added, "And you, of course! So...what is this about?"

Whitestorm listened intently, feeling the guilt rising up inside of her as he spoke. She had a much better and more pampered life compared to him, she knew her parents and her family. She knew where she came from...well just about, she didn't know any of her grandmothers, and only one grandfather which was Thunderstorm. But as she was about to say something in an apologetic way she noticed the almost blissful expression on Dante's face. Maybe his life wasn't all bad, no ones life could be all bad could they? she thought, hoping that she was right. At last she shook her head and said 'Scar sounds great, he didn't exactly give off the fatherly attitude though'. She sighed slowly, and continued 'my mother and aunt were like that, they were found by the clans, I don't know most of my family except for my grandfather Thunderstorm and my parents and siblings'.

Slipstream stopped beside Mistclaw, just taking in the height of it all. The territories were spread out below him, and he could see everything in them, as well as a small way beyond. 'I wonder what is beyond the territories' he muttered. He knew he would never find out, no one left the territories for fear of what was out there, but if the rumors were true then maybe the outside was coming in and they would have no choice but to move or fight. Mum wouldn't want my to fight, but she fought herself he thought. He heard Mistclaw's comment and looked where he was looking. 'I don't know, but they are moving so they aren't rocks, maybe we should go check it out' he said, cocking his head to the side curiously.

Snowspirit smiled warmly and followed Wolfbane, matching his speed perfectly. She was glad he wanted to see his father, it was good for them to meet every now and again to prevent them from growing hatred or feuds. I don't want to get in the way of him and his father, they were really close before I came along, but maybe a bit too close she thought. She knew that Wolfbane had a lot of things to do as the clan leader, but as their children were nearly grown and old enough to fend for themselves then she could help him more with clan matters, and then maybe they could have more time to themselves and to see family.

Sunfire blushed slightly, Freefall always knew how to say the most romantic things. ‘I know you miss your parents, I would if I were you, and to be honest I miss my dad, my mum was…well she wasn’t what I expected’ she said slowly, thinking about her mum that had tried to take her away from her friends, her home. She felt a pang of sadness when Freefall mentioned Shadow as he had helped them to defeat Thraklor but it had cost him his life, and as much as he was a goofball and a pain in her opinion, she had grown to sort of like him, but she would never admit it. ‘I miss them all too, but as you said, we have each other at least’ she sighed.

The large male had been following the other black male for some time now. He was heading into Lightning clan territory, and that would be trespassing. He followed all the same, keeping in the trees so as not to be spotted, but so that he could watch the stranger. Earlier he had seen him with a younger white male, and with a white female about the same age. The female looked familiar, but he wasn’t sure from where. As the stranger drew closer to the border of Lightning clan territory, his patience and curiosity broke and he darted forwards, bowling into the stranger whilst snapping and growling. ‘State your name and purpose for trespassing, if I don’t get a good answer I will kill you’ he growled, his voice low and deep. The two were about equal size, but he had had the advantage by striking first.

Dante looked over at Whitestorm and just sighed heavily, looking back towards the ground. "Sure, Scar wasn't exactly the parenting type," he continued. "But still, he's a really great guy to have around. He had a rough past, but he's willing to put it behind him and move forward... But first, before he can do that, he wants to prevent a war that's going to happen." He stopped for a moment and looked back up at Whitestorm. "The dragon clans down here don't know that the Dark and Light Dragons actaully exist...well, not yet anyway. And in order to make themselves known, they're going to start a full-out war that might never end. They want to take over these forests and expand their territories. I know it might sound crazy, but it's not. That's why...that's why Scar made it our duty to stop them and prepare the others before it is too late. But we can't do this alone, and that's why...we have to turn to the leaders. It's the only chance for your survival!"

Scar gritted his teeth as he was tackled down by another dragon, one of equal size. He didn't know what this guy's problem was, but he didn't want to make it any worse. "My name is Scar," he replied. "I'm here to see Thunderstorm. I have an urgent message that I have to give to him and him alone!"

"Stand down!" an elderly voice commanded. Out of the shadows of the trees, an older looking dragon with yellow scales stepped out into the clearing. "I must listen to what this young dragon has to say." He looked down at the scarred, black male with more plesant eyes. "Scar... It's been a long time."

Wolfbane sighed silently and took a slight glance at Snowspirit before playfully nudging her and moved along. It's been a while since they really played with each other, and he needed the exercise. But I still need to get back as soon as possible. He let out a slight smile and started running for the rest of the way, laughing the entire time.

Harlock looked up at his sister with more doubtful eyes. "The situation in the Dark Clan is getting worse," he began. "It's been fourteen years since Scar left, and the entire clan is just falling apart. Our leader is about to make his move, but we don't know when. I'm restricted from that kind of information, but that's all I can tell you. And trust me...Tochiro will be of no help."

Tochiro just grinned as Emeraldas took it all in. She sighed and sort of looked away. "The Light Clan is becoming anxious too. Although, our leader is doubtful that this alliance will work. If it does, then we need to be careful about what we do. It might arouse suspicion." Harlock nodded with agreement, but said nothing more.
