The leader and the group he was with reached their position, and not too far away was the next group. One of the men lay down a small black box, and then another man raised a gun and fired into the air. A ball of light shot out, lighting up the sky nearly as brightly as the sun itself, and in reply several more shot out from the other groups. As the last group shot their flare, all the groups began to decend, the leader clutching another box with nothing apart from a button on it. All the groups met up at the base of the nest, and the leader pressed the button. At first it seemed like nothing had happened, but then a tremor like an earthquake shook the ground, and a huge explosion could be seen at the top of the nest. Rocks began to fall, but inwards towards the nest, and the leader breathed a sigh of relief, it had worked. 'Alright men, take you positions, no draken is to get in or out, if they try, kill them' he said. Each of the men nodded and dispersed, and he could still hear the rock crashing down to the bottom, it would be a while until they actually reached the bottom because the sides were so steep. This is for the gods, they can destroy these creations of that treatcherous Nola he thought, and also walked away.

"Now's not the time to argue!" Ban stepped in, trying to be the more mature one for once. "We have the help the rest of the clan. Who knows what's going to happen to them!"

"Ban is right," Kira addded, stepping in to be beside her brother. "We have to stop fighting and start helping. But...what can we possibly do?..."

Meanwhile, Shido stood his ground and growled at the humans as Madoka gathered up the rest of the clan and began to usher them out as quickly as possible, starting with the chicks. Now's not the time to worry, she reminded herself. We have to get out at all costs!
