"Yeah okay...see you tomarrow.." Blue said and walked home. "Where have you been?" Luke asked. "I was worried!" Tundra scolded. "Oh..out with a friend.." Blue smiled. Tundra knew that smil and went back to her dog house. Luke was confused but got the hint to go to back to his dog house too.

Naira walked throught the doggy door to her owner. Sophie gasped at seeing the wound.
"Oh my poor dear, who did this to you?" Naira only whined a little, Sophie washed out the wound and applied bandages.
"You are lucky that I used to be a vet assistant Naira." Sophie remarked. "Now you just let that old leg of yours rest and you'll be fine. Oh! you must be hungry!" Sophie gave Naira some canned dog food. Naira politely ate a few bites but Blue's bacon biscuits has filled her up. Sighing, Naira laid her head in the paws and went to sleep remembering her day with Blue.

Blue woke up later then he planned too. He looked out. His water left out for him had frozen, and his food was cold, so he walked down to a small river. Only a couple of fish swam by, but he sadly missed them all.
Haven't done this in a long while... Blue chucled to himself. He fanaly gave up and walked on.
He walked up to Naira's house once again. She was allready in the front yard, but he saw the bandages around her paw. "Are you okay? It wasn't to serious was it?" Blue asked worriedly.

"Naw,Sophie used to be a vet assistant and she told me I would be fine," Naira explained, her tail wagged just seeing him.
"oh silly me, I forgot to say "hi" to you" she chuckled and nuzzled him."Hey are you hungry?" she asked, "Sophie left some dog food out but I have half a bowl left. You are welcome to it if you want." she smiled

"Thanks I woke up late and mine was cold this morning." Blue smiled. He ate some of it.
"So...do you still want to go to the beach? Or rest your paw?" Blue asked.
Even though she had a small injury on the outside, Blue thought her eyes looked completly undamaged.

"Help yourself," Naira smiled and let him eat. "I think we can still go to the beach, but we'll have to walk instead of run. Sophie warned me not to strain my paw too much, but other than that I'm fine." Naira blinked in the sunlight. "I'll be right on the lawn!" she called and immediatly got on her back to get rid of all the itches.

Blue did the same. "Hey Naira. Does that Cloud look like a reigndeer to you? Like a caribou or somthing?" Blue asked pointing to (Well, pawing at) a cloud in the sky. "Clouds are so..." Blue couldn't think of a word. "Um....well they're alot or things." Blue laughted at his own words.

Naira laughed, "it sure does! I think that one looks like a bunny," she replied pointing to another cloud. "I love the way clouds look, I mean they are so fluffy and cute." she said thinking of Blue when she said fluffy.

"Yeah...like CottenCandy in the sky." Bleu laughted. "Well them, off to the beach we go right?" He smiled.

"Yea lets go!" she replied, hopping up. They started walking toward the beach. Seagulls flew overhead cawing noisily.

The birds squawked and hummed. The dry sand felt good between Blue's toes. They looked through the sand for shells. "It began to get alittle more hot. Blue jumped into the cold Blue water, splashing it everywhere. "Aha! That feels nice." He smiled.

Naira waded into the cool water, "ah I love water" she breathed.
"Hey Blue did you see this shell?" she asked. Naira nudged over a bright blue mussle shell.
"Ohhh look! Sand Pipers!" Naira exclaimed. Naira slowly got out of the water and charged after the bewildered birds.

Blue smiled and his walked out of the water. " Well, that cut leg dosen't slow you down." He smiled.
Suddenly somthing sparkled under Blue's paw. "HEY! sandfidlers!" Blue laughted. He dug and dug
into the sand. The little crab slipped by him everytime. Then he looked at his Blue and white coat, witch now was madded with sand and mud. "Should have gone after the sand pipers instead." Blue laughted.

"heh, I almost forgot I was "injured'" Naira blushed.
Naira had scrambled after the seagulls next, but turned around when Blue called her.
"A sand fiddler?" She sat and watched Blue try and try to catch the little crab. SHe laughed when he came up and was covered with sand and mud. Her eyes sparkled mischievously. Naira reached her paw into the water and splashed Blue's fur. "Better?" she laughed

"Much." Blue smiled. He splashed in the water. A fish swam by, then darted back to
the deep when it saw the two dogs. There was a large sancastle alittle far down.
"Musta been a kid that came down here." Blue said. He sniffed around it. "Hm...no scent of a human.
Must have been from a while back." Blue suggested.
