I've judged movies prematurely, and know that that's not the best way to go, give this one at least a chance, you can't judge by just a trailer.

This would look more promising if the animation looked a bit better and it didn't have such a silly trailer.

Plus from what I have seen Kate looks really uninteresting and bland. Girl with "attitude" that never shows it in a humorous or entertaining way? Yeah, not appealing.

(I hate how they've sent the pack formation to buggery too. Ya didn't have to make it like high school, nubs.)

Well guys, it's like songs this days. They sound more and more alike, and next one is always worse than the first, why? Because they are running out of chords and ideas. Same in movies, they running out of ideas and original parts, so they have to reuse some. We can complain all we want, but we will probably never see something like the old movies, with their style and "unique" story. That's life, so just smile and laugh at what we understand, and think is funny, 'cause in the future they might only remake movies, for there are no new to be made, all is already done. Don't you think...

I don't think the issue is more of the same, I think it's more of the same with less quality. If you make the best movie about high school ever, then that's fine, sure it's been done but you made it better. When you make a film and there are a number of other films that surpass it then you have issues. Also, small changes to an old formula can make things unique enough to stick out. I think people want to simply feel a part of the film and if you can do that by making well developed characters that people relate to and impressive animation that's nice to look at again and again, you don't need a totally unique storyline.

Folk's there's more material for decent movies out there than you think xDDDD If you look at this movie and go "They're running out of ideas" why not think of some of the better "fanfics" you've read out there that has a better quality script than this cinematic piece of crap xD

Obviously ideas are endless or at the very least you've read fics about wolves that were a million times better than this, but its the fact that people will not spend time on it to make it a good movie that's the problem. Movies are now "time-limited" so they're kind of crunched on using that time wisely to make the movie. Obviously the most of the time spent on this movie was the animation, and certainly not the voice acting or story, and that's still not saying much.

However, this is an American script animated by an Indian studio. So kudos to the studio, but shame on the person who decided to turn this script into a movie. If you write your own screenplay, you're your own boss (for the most part anyway) and you give yourself time to work out the kinks annnnnnd I don't think they did that here xD

Still this kind of movie, music, fanfic, or whatever, are only good ones, and that's first time you see, listen or read it.

Ok there is at least two things on there that surprise me. First is the train one. I say that it a litle bit scary.

Second: You noticed it too? lol I have a feeling it's the same actor.

Now with the howling one... All Wolves Howl!

And for the trees, I don't see any difference in them.

maybe the same reason people like toilet humor, I guess butt jokes go along with it..:p..

I just realized that the guy who voiced Lem in Planet 51, is also doing the voice of Humphrey...

(I'm sorry I can't stand to name a wolf Humphrey, even a geeky one.. :? )

They're using part of the quote from Revelations 22:13
Quote:
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Begining and the End.

And relating to something about wolf mating, not something where it would be appropriate, like, oh I don't know, a movie that is Biblical in nature. But hey, the reference is clever, right?
And after seeing the trailer, and thought I had that this would be a movie I would like to see, jumped off the Golden Gate.

Yea I mentioned that Biblical reference in my (long) review on the trailer. Buuuuut I guess its too much to ask to have something so deep be put into a BSerly movie about wolves having non-dangerous adventures in a typical environment having contrived love as the plot.

Gross. Esda06 gave a wonderful example of how the style should be.
