Togo growled at Buddy "Then you wouldn't be alive to see your first birthday" he growled.Togos eye had always been a touchy subject and the others knew it.

Gail interuppted "Togo shut up,Buddy please not now and hello Dakota" she said tensely.

Name: He doen't have a real name, so everyone calls him Shadow because he is so mysterious)

Other: He doesn't talk much. Only when he needs to. He's more of a loner, and he never loses a fight. He can beat any dog he wants to.

"So sorry, Dot." Buddy said. "Sometimes I just can't help it. So, how are you?" He asked. "Anybody want to go for a swim with me?" He turned and gestured toward the ocean, bright blue with small waves.

Aaron looked over into the water. "I'll go." He said. He swam differently then regular dogs but he had fun swimming.

Dakota followed slowly behind them. She yawned a little and followed. She was still tired from yesterday. "Uh! Yea!" She said and pushed Aaron into the water.

Gail muttered something about already having done it this morning but she went in anyway.Her glided through the waer made her seem like she was born there.

Togo sat on the edge afer saying he had a sore leg.In reality Togo couldn't swim but he was too proud to admit it.

Buddy splashed into the water, but was careful not to get the other dogs wetter than they wanted to be. "Sorry Gail," He said. "I know you already went swimming, but I wanted to take a break from talking." He gave a sheepish smile.

"Nah it's all right" laughed Gail gliding up through the water "I enjoy swimming" she said.She splashed Buddy playfully hen nodded over to the bank "Looks like someones scared of the water" she whispered.

Togo lay down watching the others have fun and again cursed himself for not learning how to swim.

Dakota got out of the water and went up to Togo she felt sorry that he wasn't able to get in the water. "Are you alright?" She asked standing by him.

"I'm fine" said Togo "I don't see whats so great about getting wet anywaay" he said but you could tell he as upset.

Dakota rolled her eyes at him. "Maybe it's not the water but it time spending with friends that we like." She said looking down at him and shaking the water out of her.

Togo looked up at her "You don't have to swim to spend time with friends" he mutered.

Dakota bared her teeth at him as she looked out to the ocean. "Why are you so stubborn sometimes." She said getting up into his face and growling. "This is why I don't like you." She said.

Togo growled back "Your the stubborn one" he snarled "I only said you don't have to swim to spend time with friends"

Dakota growled and ponched on him and bit into his ear. "Maybe you will watch what you say next time." She said walking back over to Aaron.
