In the meantime, carry tissues with you and wash your hands regularly, which you should do anyway.

No, don't see a Doctor, phone your National Health Hotline (In our case, NHS Direct).

And why not? I would.
Can you really see most people even knowing you're supposed to ring some hotline instead of do what you've always done and just see your doctor?
"Risk of infecting others" is a moot-point aswell. Just ring up your doctor and ask if they can come to your house and tell them why, most are happy to do that.

Obviously Devon is on a different planet.

Unless there a Private Doctor's surgery, or a paramedic needed, they don't usually come. I mean, what can they actually do? Apart from give you a prescription, and send you to the chemist? Which is why they tell you to call the National Health Line.

Another 3 deaths in New York City. Hong Kong closed down all schools and kindergardens for two weeks.

Notice another interesting fact?

No one really cares as much anymore. The papers have stopped printing about it for the most part, it's definately not front-page news anymore and the news on TV has stopped reporting on it.

Just like Bird Flu, it's dissolved into disinterest. Hardly surprising and I still am hardly worried about Swine Flu.

lol, still washing my hands every chance I get, pretty much has become a routine for me now.

I will say that the U.S. has treated this as a "phase 6" since the beginning, so I don't have to worry about right now, but of course things can change.

Someone at my school has Swine Flu, here is the official letter:

Quote:
Dear Parent/Carer

It has come to out attention that one of our Year 12 students may have the Swine Flu virus. The student is now at home until the incubation period has passed and the Doctor clears the student to return to college.

*Insert aload of boring guidelines here*

No offence, but I find this rather pointless.

You would say the exact opposite if it was your case.

It just doesn't bring anything to the topic that anyone can add to.

That's irrelevant. Who cares if no one can add to it? All I said was someone at my school has Swine Flu, it's not like I committed Arson.

This topic is about the swine flu..

Conay told us about a case of it in his school. It's perfectly relevant.
