Yeah, after i read the message over last night, i felt bad, and i couldn't sleep. I'll delete the previous messages, i'm sorry. I'm sorry i did that, and i know i shouldn't take my anger out on you guys, but i had a stressy day, and i just like, shut down completely when i saw darks bio. Personality: Oddballish, doesn't fit in with her family. Her family is strong, angery, mean, selfish ect. But she's timid, and quiet, and is deaf in one ear, after getting it slashed by her father. But, she is kind. She gets it from one of her gandparents. A big sweet heart, big hearted, friendly, sweet, and smart. Lovable, understanding, and social. But, like her mom, when thretend, she can seriously hurt someone. But only shows when she apsolutly (sp?) has to!

History: She was born in a small litter of three, she was the only female. Her dad wanted all boys, and so did her mom. She was hit, pushed, shuved and other stuff. But promist herself to be kind, and sh stuck to it. After running from her parents, after her father slashed her ear, she ran into a young, handsom male named Dinomow. He chsed away Venus's parents. He returned to help her to his home. HIs owner, Jack, took her to the vet to fix her ear. She sadly became deaf in that ear, but her other ear works very well. After she becomes mates with Mo Mo (Dinomow) they have their pups.

Future: Well, because Dinomow lives with his dad Canal, and uncle Hook (not his real uncle, but he calls him that) when Jack brings her home, all three fall for her. Hook later gives up. BUt Dinomow and Canal have a father-son fiht over her. SHe ends up with Dinomow 83

Why I would like to re-home this character: Because this will make a great story 83. And I've needed a reason to make a great dane mix character (wich will be her father). BUt she will look like her mom, mostly.

Anything else of interest?: Dinomow and Venus will have 3-5 pups, not sure. But I know one will be born completly deaf D8.

Well, this thread's as good as any to state why I've not bee active for the past week or so XD. Basically, my Internet crashed last wednesday and REFUSED to work, no matter what I did. It's been driving me mad! XD I've also been busy, since I have had my exam week at school, so yeah.....a whole load of explaining for my sudden absence. And only TODAY is my Internet finally working So at last, my entry is here! Huzzah!

Name: Cora

Age: 3 years


Gender:Female, obviously.

Breed:Irish Setter/Canaan dog

Personality:Quoted awesomeness. " Calm, serene, sensible. Cora is quiet above all else, but extremely intelligent. She prefers to show her emotions with physical gestures, tail wagging, pawing e.t.c rather than speaking. Cora is a caring soul and a good listener. Naturally she is compassionate, and adores babies.

Parents(if any asigned): I may design some for her later. Right now I'm too focused on HER bio to even think of some names. XD

Mate(past, present):Ditto.

Pups: She'd love some! But she'd be too shy to actually do it....>.< her owners may adopt another puppy, and then she could be a mother-figure towards it.

History: Cora was adopted by two kind and loving people, husband and wife, who owned a farm, and already had a few dogs for herding sheep. At first, from a young age, Cora's main job was guarding the farmyard poultry in the evenings and at night, from foxes and stoats and other such predators. Cora's favourite time of the year was unquestionably spring, when the farm would be filled with so much fresh new life. When she first laid eyes on the adorable, fluffy, buttercup-yellow chicks, it was love at first sight. She bounded gleefully towards them, but was met halfway by a group of furious, squaking hens who flapped their wings madly and chased a suprised Cora out of the compound. Cora was hurt and confused, the hens had never behaved like that towards her before, and surely they knew her and knew that she would never harm them or their goregous little chicks. Eventually it dawned on her that it was some sort of weird, motherly instinct that made any other creature around, no matter how friendly, a potential threat. Once she understood this, she felt a little better, but also a little jealous that she didn't have any wonderful babies of her own to look after and protect.

Eventually, after a load of patience and effort on Cora's part, the hens trusted her enough to let the chicks scamper around her, cheeping happily. Soon their mothers, and the farm workers knew that Cora could tell that the chicks were delicate, precious, something special - and would lie still as a furry statue while the chicks scampered and chirped happily around her, sometimes pecking at her fur with their tiny orange beaks. Sometimes they would try to nestle under her fur, like they would do under their mothers' feathers, and at these times Cora could barely contain her delight - and the minature earthquake caused by her gently thumping tail would send all the chicks scattering away again.

Soon the farmer saw that Cora's intelligent but gentle nature might be useful for working with sheep, and Cora was promoted to the daunting job of sheep-herding. The other dogs, Dandy, Rafael and Tinker, (all males!) were keen to teach her all that they knew. Sheep were stupid creatures, they could only run away. The trick was to keep them running in the right direction, without too much force or agression, as that would scare the sheep, but with the right amount of firmness and accuracy. It also required a lot of patience, as sheep were known to bolt in the wrong direction if harassed, and eaily got lost. But there was something about Cora which meant not even the tiniest lamb was afraid of her, and with encouragement, obediently followed her directions. She soon became a favourite among the other dogs, because she never showed off and was always polite, and yet it was obvious that her gentle and pacient nature gave her raw talent for sheep-herding, in her own unique way.

Future: Well, to make a long story as short as it can be, in time the sheep are taken for a trip up the mountainside, and a bold mountain eagle that has been circling around the hills for days suddenly decides to take a swoop at the flock's sickly lamb, which has wandered off by itself. Only the dogs are fast enough to get there in time, and it is Dandy who jumps at the eagle as it tries to ascend again, bites its leg and makes it drop the lamb, but also falls himself onto his back, leaving his belly exposed to the eagle's razor-sharp talons.

But before it can drop onto him, Cora leaps over Dandy's body, and turns to face the surprised eagle. Cora snarls so loudly and so fiercly that even the eagle is momentarily alarmed. Then the humans finally arrive, shouting and waving sticks, and the eagle sqwauks angrily and flies away, all its new-found confidence suddenly gone.

Dandy is astonished. He's never seen such a display of agression from the always sweet and mild Cora. And all to protect him, aswell....Why would she do that? Unless......

Basically, that astonishment and gratefulness blossoms into affection for Cora, which continues to grow, the more time he spends with her. But will he ever tell her how he feels? Does she even feel the same way? How do you talk to girls?....He'd never really talked to her about anything but work before >.<. Argh...so awkward.

Anyway, maaybe if one or the other plucks up the courage to tell the other their true feelings, they may become mates and have pups. ^^. But of course, if he ever confronts Cora about it, she'll only mumble that she was doing what anyone would have done. But she would probably blush afterwards.

Why I would like to re-home this character: Well, I have to admit, I saw that exact same picture of her in your fanart gallery a while back, becasue she was in some mate contest that I had entered in aswell, I believe. Who's was it now? *scratches head* And I admit, my immediate thought was "WOW.......do want." Because, let's face it, she's beautiful. ^^ I can't belive she never won any mate contests. Also, I really want a farm-dog character. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE her personality, and I like how her looks reflect that...in some weird way. Maybe it was the way you drew her- but I hope I captured it in my bio. So hopefully this bio blows your face off

Anything else of interest?: I may give her a nice, spring-green bandanna to wear, to make her look more "farm dog" XD but hey, we'll wait and see. I'm sorry, I've only got time for a head shot pic T_T. But that chick is so darn cute. ^^
