He gripped the wall of rock with his claws, grinning toothily, and then dropped to the ground again. The wall cast a deep shadow over him, and in an instant there seemed to be nothing there. He thanked his natural ability to blend in with shadows, and used the shadow as a kind of bridge to reach to dark shade of the trees. You are very slow, dear Monolith he taunted, I am a predator, tuned in with everything, but I have higher senses than any normal predator. He crouched low, completely invisible to the naked eye.
Zara gripped the chair with her claws, ripping it to shreds. She woke up gasping, her nightmares still rattling in her head. She walked slowly to the window, and looked out towards the forest. With her well trained eyes she thought she saw Sora and Sam near the forest, and with a sigh and a shake of her head she jumped onto the roof. Alright then, lets see if I can get these wings to work she thought, and without thinking about it she jumped off the roof into a freefall. The ground zoomed towards her, but at the last moment she felt her whole body changing. She pulled out of the dive, spreading her arms that were now wings and soaring in a perfect 'u' shape. She flew low to the ground, heading towards Sam and Sora.

" Maybe that won't be necessary."
The cat murmered, staring at the dragon girl, ears swiveled towards the battling creatures. Realizing that the other monsters would attack her if they saw her, she crouched, jumping with a powerful leap, aiming to knock down and silence her, hoping that Zara would recognize her in her animal form.

Zara tried to dodge the sudden golden blur that leapt towards her, but she couldn't turn in time. It pushed her to the ground, and in her fright she started to snap at the cat before starting to recognize her. 'You, your that girl from my house before aren't you' she said, shocked. She rolled over, propping herself up with her wings, and then narrowed her eyes at Sam. 'What are you playing at, I was just flying and you try to knock me over, what is going on?' She was talking rather loudly, and starting to slowly stand up so that she would be able to be seen from where the creatures were battling.

Sora transformed back to her human form and held Zara down. "We're not alone." she whispered. "Two things are over there, I don't know what they are but they're dangerious." she said, letting Zara up enough to see the monsters.
Monolith threw a punch, nearly taking Fear's head off. "Your power hides your sight, not your sound." he said. "I beast of instinct, I predator as well and predator know how use all senses." he said. His eye glowed with a bright light, pointing in Fear's direction.

Zara spotted the two creatures...well one of them anyway, and just managed not to scream. 'What the h*** are they' she whispered to Sam and Sora, staring at them wide eyed. She could feel a nagging in the back of her head, taunting her, telling her she was weak not to eat them there and then, but she managed to ignore it.
'Ah, but how can you hear where my sound is coming from, when I am in your head talking to you he said, making no noise as he crept slowly around Monolith, the poor stupid creature didn't have a clue, he was punching at shadows and nothing more. Ha, shadow-punching, that's a good one he thought to himself, grinning and showing his teeth, if anyone could see him however.

Sam yowled, growling lowly as a gesture to tell them to not to talk so loud. Turning back into a human, she stared at the two girls, eyes slit and claws extended in a ferocious manner. Staring at the two creatures, who with every battle moved closer, she sighed.
" Don't make so much noise... " She shushed both of them, glancing back to the creatures.

Monolith turned rapidly and the beam of light coming from his eye washed over Fear, dispelling the shadows he was hiding in. Monolith then punched Fear in the chest.
"We should try to sneak off while they're occupide with one another." whispered Sora. "Or else the winner might come after us."

'But what are they' Zara hissed, her voice low and frightened. She glanced at the two, there were two now, and one was pretty scary, all made out of rock, but the second one looked like something out of a nightmare, like it was all made out of shadows, and in the form of a giant cat. She gulped and quickly added 'but I think getting out of here would be a good idea'.
He hissed, his body sore where Monolith had struck him. He had tried to get out of the way, but the blow had clipped his hind legs, nearly breaking them, if he had bones that was. With a savage snarl, he ran at Monolith, clawing at his rock skin and trying to sink his claws in any way he could. The areas where his eyes were seemed to best place to attack, so he clambered up Monolith's back and dug around them with razor sharp claws.

"I'm not sure, something bad." said Sora. "And destructive."
Monolith launched a beam of light from his eyes, burning Fear's hands. He grabbed Fear's face and slammed him into the ground. He tried to stomp on him.
OOC: Sorry if I'm making Monolith a little dominating in the fight, he seems a bit more like a melee fighter than Fear would be.

Samara nodded at Sora's words. " But where do we head? Do you guys think they'd follow us if we went to the village nearby?" She looked at the trees at the edge of the field, which was a long distance away. The village was in that direction.
" Dragon girl, do you think we could stay at 'your' house?" She asked Zara, studying the beasts. The shadow was no wild cat, no matter how much he appeared, but of the two he seemed to be the most intimidating, using stealth as his main weapon. However, the rock monster had strength and size to his advantage, being large and... rocky.

(With the actual fighting part he is fine, but whenever Fear tries to hide he finds him, maybe he isn't so clever...  ) 'It's not dragon girl, it's Zara, and it would be nice to know your names as well' Zara snapped, starting to regain her confidence. 'And I...suppose we could go to my house, it is probably safer' she mumbled, looking back the way she had come. 'Alright then, if we are going to go to my house, then lets get moving before the creatures realise we are here,' she said, and started to crawl through the grass, slowly changing into her human form as she went.He growled and rolled out of the way, once again he disappeared into the shadows. He hissed slowly to himself, sounding like a balloon deflating, and examined his wounds. They were not huge, and the shadows surrounding him quickly merged with them to make them whole again, but still sore. This...hunk of rock is really starting to get on my nerves he thought, but then sensed something. The children are moving, I can find them later, first I must deal with Monolith he thought.

"I'm Sora." said Sora. "Thank you for allowing us to hide." she said, making note of how the shadow creature disliked light. "The shadow monster hates bright light."
Monolith growled. He shot his light beam at where he saw Fear land. The other times, it'd been reflexes. "Telepathy does allow you to be sensed, I can the direction your mental energy comes from and then I can attack, you want stay hidden, don't talk to me."

" Sorry.... I'm Samara." The girl answered, making note of the light thing as she observed the beings with narrowed eyes.
" We need to find a quick way to sneak around them without being spotted." She added, turning to the others, which was rather uncomfortable considering she still had to crouch a bit despite the long grass.

'Well, I managed to fly in here without them spotting me, so we could just go the same way, the grass is pretty long up to my house, with all the corn fields and stuff' Zara said, spreading a wing out towards the fields with their golden corn.
He moved quickly out of the way, keeping his movement slow and silent. He is right, well then, all that means is that I can't taunt him anymore he thought, prowling around Monolith until he was behind him.
