Garret took a step closure to the bars, but the fur on his paw brushed agaisnt the silver and the skin their could sense the cold metal. He took that step back again, accidently looked down to do so.

Garret looked back up and saw the confusion in Shay's eyes. He felt guilty for ruining the moment. But he didn't know how to answer Shay's look and kept silent.

Cassie trotted over to him. "You hit the bars," she explained. "The silver burned your skin. But it will be healed for the most part tomorrow."
