Maia looked at the scar, taken aback. That was a big scar for a wolf to have. What had happened? "Uh, I think he did. i'll check." She apdded to teh body of the dog and sniffed him carefully. He shifted and moaned in pain. She looked up. "Yeah, she okay." Now that she had a better look at him, she saw that he wa sonly a puppy. "Well, he will be if I can find the propper herbs. I was going ot be a heeler at my old pack." She looked at blitz. "Do you know where any herbs are around here?"

"Yes, allow me," said Angel. She darted away, gathering as many herbs as she could find. She returned a moment later and set them down by Maia, who smiled and began to aplly tehm to the wounded puppy.

"I may not be good at fighting but I can do this." Maia pressed a her to stop the bleeding against the pup's shoulder blade which as bleeding badly. He whimpered and shut his eyes tight. "Don't worry baby," she whispered, "you'll be okay. We won't let hem hurt you. I promise."

Copper cocked his head at the pup, curious as to what his story was. "HE'll live right?" The female wolf nodded as she kept working. "Thank you." He felt relieved at the news, although he couldn't explain why.

Name: Josh

Breed: Dog (German Shepherd/Husky mix)
Personality: shy, reserved, quiet, kind, caring, will trust someone with his life if he knos them enough and won't turn on them for anything, takes a little while to warm to new people if they scared him righ toff the bat
History: Josh was loved by his owners who had owned his mother and father both. His mother, the Shepherd, loved and cared for him with all her heart. So did his father, although he did not show it as much. However, when his mother was hit by a car and killed, Josh's father refused to do anything. He hardly kept himself alive. He would curl up in a corner and do nothing. Deciding that they had to keep their attention on keeping his father alive, the owners decided to sell Josh. It was no an easy decision and Josh depended on his father to help stop htem but he didn't. They sold him to a man who owned a dog fight ring and he ran away instantly. Tehn he ended up in teh forest and you know the rest.

Blitz walked up and laid beside the pup. He felt a simular feeling, being attacked as a pup and not knowing why. He put his nose beside the pup's ear. "Don't worry, you're safe here." he said. "We're all good, we won't hurt you." he said, keeping his voice soft and kind. "We won't let anyone hurt you, we promise."

Josh looked up and smiled softly. "Thank... you," he murmured softly. He felt weak and tired but he was afraid to fall asleep. He'd been asleep when teh horrible man had taken him away from his family. Of course he'd woken up on teh way and cried for his father to hlep him. All Ranger (his dad) had done was lift his head adn watch as his son was carried away. Then teh wolves had attacked when he was alseep too. shuddering, he put his head on his paw.

Maia saw Copper shudder out of the corner of her eye and turned back to teh pup. She saw him shudder as well and murmured, "You're safe now. It's okay." she looked at Blitz, her eyes saying thank you silently. She coudl use as much help comforting this distraught pup as she could pssibly get.

"And I'm a coydog, which is coyote/dog mix. My dad was murdered when I was little by an awful wolf. then I met another wolf who protected me as if I was his own. Then the same thign happened to him. So I can somewhat relate," agreed Copper.

Maia glanced at them both in gratefulness, ehr gaze hovering on blitz slightly longer. then she looked back down at the puppy. "What happened to you?" she whispered, mroe to herself than to Josh. Louder she said, "i'm Maia." She then introduced her new friends. "Who are you?"

"Josh," the puppy murmured softly. "My name is Josh." Slowly, he sumerized the tragic events of his life in a low voice. He looked up. "Thank you. You're all very kind to care for and listen to a puppy."

Poison looked confused "Whats a pack?" She asked as she leaned in closer to them, feeling more safe now.

"I think I'd like that if you promise not to give me away," Josh murmured before his weariness took over and he fell into a heavy sleep.

Copper smiled at home and padded to Maia and Blitz. "I can take him if you want."

Maia dipped her head at Copper. "Thank you." she looked at Blitz. "Thanks for helping me calm him. There's no way I could have done it alone." She glanced at her paws, thinking that teh invitation to join was for the pup, not her too.

Maia chuckled. "You're right. At least until I learn how to fight better." She looked at his parents, pricking her ears hopefully.

Angel rolled her eyes, smiling kindly. "honestly, Blitz. You should know by now that its pointless to ask. We're as open to new wolves by now as you are." She msiled at teh group. "We'll be glad to help you all."

Poison stepped back, her head down, she felt dumb "Oh.." She said as she heard the wolfess being able to join his pack, not her.Poison sighed "Well your welcome pup.." She whispered as she turned around and went to walk away.
