Tears streamed down my face staining my face the hurt carried in them worse than cuts. I looked up sitting on the human's counter I saw a differnt me joy shimering in her. Steele beamed lovestruck not bothering to re focus his eyes on the camera. I saw red and jumped up grabbing the golden frame in my powerful jaws. With a shake of my head I let it fly crashing agaisnt the hardwood sending millions of critzlized shards around me. There I lay wishing with a passion that he would come back and things would be okay. But I knew they wouldn't-they couldn't. And with that I began to fill a buring rage rise in my sotmach and settle in my thoughts- if I can't have him neither can she.

renee braced to a halt and gazed at his form "but.. what about her..? you cant just leave her.. its.. wrong.." looked down timidly as she scooted closer to him. Her tail curled softly between her legs as she looked back up at him.

Denca had not fallen asleep. How could she? With all this noise! And with her father not home! She growled and got up, being sly and cunning not to wake her stupid siblings who slept soundly. She through herself into the door and made little leaps down the stairs, stumbling on her forming legs and paws. She saw her father crash through the window and just for a moment cringed as the glass flew in every which direction. Denca shook her silver and black silky fur. Denca payed no attention to her mother, just her father. "Daddy!" She called with a playfull growl and leaping on the wood floor, slipping slightly.

Denca rolled her eyes and the growled as he picked her up. Wiggling madly around as she hung in the air. As she was on the ground again and spun around and started to chew on one of his large paws. She giggled heartfully, "I chased the baby sitter off in the first hour!" She muttered threw her mouthfull, her sharp puppy teeth breaking his flesh, but just barley.

Denca snarled loudly, and laughed some at the same time too. "I can't wait to be big like you daddy. I'm going to be known all over Nome! The badest of the bad!" She clawed at his leg and wagged her tail madly.

I stood shaking from my spot behind the small marble island that was postioned in the middle of the kitchen. My eyes burned tears still slidding and red creeped at the corners of my vision. "Denca." I growled sternley "I realise you want to see your father but go back to bed. Now," my tone dared her to disobew. With a pout she wandered back. I stood my chest puffing in and out angirly as tears slapped the wooden floor. I looked at his face. I didn't know if he knew that I had heard. I started him down my lip trembling deciding what to say.

Renee nodded softly and watched him leave. She looked down then walked into the deeper parts of the woods "its seems wrong.. yet.. my heart cant stop" she said quietly then sat at the entrance of her cave. She lowered her gaze then walked over the soft moss twice before slimping down, releasing a bit of pollen. She layed her paws and tail in a small curl then closed her eyes slowly.

I looked away out the snow dotted window my eyes subsiding of the red tint and becoming clogged with the wet fog of my own pain sodden tears. I let out a wrenched sob and fell the the floor ignoring the blasts of pain that trembled through my frame from the transparent glass bits. I hung my head agaisnt my throbbing chest. "What-" my words were caught and forced "do you." I struggled gulping down fresh tears. "have to say to me." I finally chocked out in a stament demanding an anwser.

I stayed where I was but angled my small frame away from him as he approached. I closed my eyes my head full of remorse,regret and sadness. "What wrong with me." I said quietley letting my hate towards myself sink in. I quickly got up flicking my head downwards away from his eyes and dragged myself unsteady towards the pups dark room my shoulders heaviing with sobs the whole way.
