You think a movie that portays black people as illiterate and stupid isn't racist and I'M the ignorant one? You may need to strengthen your argument there. Anyway, let's talk plot. Shall we?

How did the Decepticons make a female human robot, enroll it in college, pay for its tuition and get her a house on campus? All in the same day that Sam started having visions no less. And don't tell me that they did it before then, which implies that not only did they go through all that trouble, but only did it on the chance that Sam would be useful in the future. And if they can build robots that look like humans, why are they sending down robots that can only disguise themselves as cars?
How do you cover up an attack that levels an entire city?
If part of the point of NEST is to keep the robots a secret, they sure aren't very good at their job because their missions not only increase the probability of a giant robot fight, but pretty much MANDATE it.

You seem to be talking about movies that are based on inner city life that portray people in the slums who can't afford an education (i.e. Boys in the Hood). This movie not only gives them these traits, but blows them way out of proportion to create a stereotypical caricature exploited for cheap laughs. Plot holes continued:

Why didn't Sam use the allspark fragment to revive optimus? That sort of idea only occurs to him when they find Jetfire.
If the Primes don't use the matrix on planets with life, why don't they just keep looking for another planet? And why build a tomb out of their bodies? Wouldn't it be easier to protect the matrix if they were alive?
How do they drive from Petra to Cairo in five minutes?
Why do they decide to walk to the military base? They could have just traveled inside the Transformers.

Because its a movie and you're not supposed to overanalyze every second of it for plot holes and 'sterotypes'. Those two weren't insulting sterotypes, yes I'll admit they were gangster sterotypes but they were of the same type as the WWE wrestliers Cryme Tyme, a parody of it, making fun of a sterotype. If the movie was racist, then why in the world would they cast a black guy as one of the high ranking soldiers of NEST? A main character basically.

The Fallen was orcastraighting the events on Earth through Starscream, he told Megatron the All Spark's knowladge was transfered to Sam, thus he knew it himself, explaining why Alice and Wheelie were sent to spy on him.
Sam didn't use the All Spark fragment on Optimus because he DIDN'T know he could until Wheelie had him use it to bring Jet Fire to life, by then it was too late because it'd been used up. Those two flaws in your logic show me you didn't pay much attention to the movie. I respect you don't like the movie but RESPECT THAT WE DO!!! I cannot respect how you're acting, calling Shiro ignorant was an insult that was completely uncalled for and you're disrespecting a lot of people by your insult of this movie because reguardless of what you think, people do like it and by insulting the movie in such a blantant manner disrespects them. So even though I doubt you'll listin to me, please be more respectful, at least when posting on my threads because I don't like it one bit.

I'm not overanalyzing. These plot holes are so huge that you could drive the galaxy through them (not to mention that your solutions to them only raise further questions). Have we forgotten about "The Dark Knight" already? It's possible to have a Summer blockbuster that is both visually pleasing and intellectually stimulating. Bay delivers neither. Instead, he makes expensive car commercials that only cater to special effects starved adolescents.
The reason I get so worked up over this is because these people are making a fortune out of insulting their audiences. They blew $200 million on this thing. You're paying North of $10 to see it. It's not unreasonable to expect a quality film from all that.
This isn't a movie, it's a lifeless product. A product that sees the moviegoing public as mindless robots who will pay money to see anything as long as its flashy. A product that was made with money on its mind instead of art or entertainment. A product that the public is mindlessy consuming just so that it can be excreted and recycled as more soulless garbage.
It's Hollywood at its most condescending, superficial and money hungry.

So you're saying 91% of all people who saw the movie are 'special effects starved adolescents'? I agree with Shiro, you're just like a movie critic, no wonder you didn't like the movie, most critics didn't but a lot of people loved it. I respect you don't like the movie but insulting the movie and in your last post calling them 'special effects starved adolescents' is blantant disrespect. No wonder a lot of people don't like you, you've got no respect for anyone here.

Critics, on the other hand, know what makes a quality film and refuse to settle for anything less. Don't buy into all marketing and flashy effects. You, as a paying moviegoer deserve better and so do I.

Because this thread is to discuss the film. That doesn't limit it to fans only.

That is true but its my thread and I'm limiting it to fans and RESPECTFUL people who dislike it, you're not being respectful to everyone else and a lot of your posts seem specifically to cause people to fight with you. You insulted everyone in your last few posts. Did you ever stop to think you're insulting people or do you really even care and just like making people mad and disrespecting them?

When I see a movie that pisses me off this badly, I can't help but vent in some way. In fact it's not so much the movie (horrible as it may be) that makes me mad. What makes me mad is that people are mindlessly throwing away their hard-earned money to see a movie that insults its audience with second grade humor, formless, incomprehensible action and blatant stereotypes for three hours and expects them to thank it. This movie is not isn't stupid because of the writers' inability, it's stupid because the writers think the audience is stupid. The cinematic equivilant of a street-side con man or a high school student that expects to get an "A" on their chemistry project by making a vinegar/baking soda volcano.

That still is disrespectful to people who like the movie, I understand you have an opinion and a right to the opinion but you're voicing it wrong. For example, you basically used every non-vulger word you could think of to insult the movie and expect someone not to be insulted. Couldn't you have just said you didn't like the movie and thought it was racist, then explained why instead of calling it a 'festering pile of rancid garbage'? If you'd done that, we might not be having this conversation. However, to be fair, I have to say to Shiro, calling him racist wasn't respectful ether and I must ask you to apologize for that.

That's not the point, you've got an opinion, you've made that clear, the fact of the matter is, you're saying it in a rude, insulting, and confrontational way. If you can't think of a respectful way to post your idea, then please don't post it at all. You feel that way but I feel Transformers 2 was a good movie, the 'sterotype' was a parody, making fun of the sterotype itself, plus, its not secxist, we've got a strong female lead, heck we even had female Transformers, admitingly one didn't play a very major role but Alice was the first Decepticon in the movie to make a public attack. Yes, said female lead was hot but she was no diffrent than her role in the original film. Now can you respect my opinion or are you just going to say I'm dum for liking the movie like you've been doing?
