Ooc//: Well...she wont be able to frame Balto if there are witnesses...

Tear growled as she spat at him. Laying down, she waited for sleep to come to her. Soon she found her eyes drooping and she fell into sleep.

The next morning Tear sat inside the Old Mill with Trevor and Levi. She was crying really hard. "Tear, you say that Balto did this to you?" Tear nodded. "I never guess the towns greatest dog would do somthing like that!" Levi growled. "Levi, go find Jenna and bring her hear, we'll hold court in less then an hour. I'll go find or mis behaving friend Balto." Trevor said as he dashed out the door to find Balto. Finally he spotted his old friend. "Balto, you are needed at the Old Mill, and that is an order."

Levi told Tear it was okay and left her as he dashed towards Jenna's house.

"Jenna, you are needed at the Old Mill" Levi stated. He turned and led her away. when they reached the Old Mill, he told her to sit at the Left side of the stage.

Trevor walked inside the Old Mill, following Balto. He walked up to Tear and told her to sit near the lift, where the "Judge" would sit. "Balto, I need you to sit on the right side of the platform." He waited as Levi entered the Old Mill with Jenna and they where followed what seemed like the whole town of dogs. He took his place at the "Judge's" Seat and looked down at the dogs.

We are brought here today to invest the crime of our most beloved hero, Balto. Tear has the stage to tell us what happened." He said as he steped back and Tear took his place.

"Last night I brough my supper to an old boiler room near the town square. I heard somone come in and it was Balto. I asked him what he was doing here and he said that he couldn't resist the smell from inside here. It took me less then a heartbeat for me to notice that he wasn't talking about the sausages, but me. I don't really remember what happened next but...we..." She didn't need to finish it.

For some strange reason, the whole town belivd this unknown false statement. They glared at Balto. Trevor stood up again "Tear, do you have any witnesses or evidence that he really did this?" "No...well...yes. I'm pregnat." She was crying now, no longer doing it on purpose. She remembered her old mate, the REAL father of these puppies where. "Balto, I want you to make your statement and give me a witness or evidence."

((The whole town belives Tear, Jenna does to I'm not trying to be bossy ))

"Jenna? JENNA!" Levi ran to her and two other dogs where right on his heels. Tear smiled but was unnoticed by the other dogs. Heads turned towards Jenna. "Jenna? Are you alright?"

wwaaaaaait! Balto has to plead his case! At least give him a fighting chance!



As Balto walked to the Old Mill, he noticed the weird way everybody was acting around him. Dogs who he knew, friends, gave him a wide berth, shaking their heads at him or even growling. Some of them saw him coming and walked quickly away, muttering frantically to their friends. He overheard a snippet of conversation- "Well, that's what you can expect from those wild, mangy wolfdog types..." The words hit him like a kick in the gut. No-one had ever, Ever called him things like that since he saved Nome's children. They brought back painful memories of when he used to be an outsider, laughed at by everyone. Nowadays, he was respected by all, if anyone so much as mentioned the word "wolfdog" Jenna would bite their heads off!....Jenna! He had to find her, and ask what was going on. She'd stand by him, he knew she would....

When he got inside he saw the place was crowded. It didn't take long for him to spot the crimson-red fur of his mate, sitting in the front row of the audience, and he barked gleefully at her, wagging his flowy tail."Jenna!" he barked to his mate, and began to walk towards her, but then a dog ushered him aside.

"You're place is over there." he said and pointed to the place on the platform, to the left of the judges seat. On the right was Tear, her eyes wet with tears. Levi sat beside her, and Trevor on the judge's seat, looking solemnly at him. Oh God... Balto thought, and an awful tingle shivered up his spine. With shaky legs he walked up to the platform and took his seat.

Tear gives her speech....

With every word of tis downright lie, Balto felt his anger grow and grow. How could they believe this rubbish??? It was only when she got to the bit about being pregnant that Balto's and all others eyes swivelled to her slightly swelling belly. Also she looked pretty beaten up, with scratches down her back and a black eye. How did she do that? he wondered. But now the time had come to give his speech, and he rose to his feet, keeping his anger under control. If he just told the truth, he should be ok.

"Thats' not what happened! We all agree that last night was bitterly cold, right? I didn't want to spend it curled up on a leaky old boat- nobody would. I made my way to the boiler room, and seeing that no-one was there, I settled down to sleep. However, later that night, Tear came in, woke me up and offered me some sausages, since she knew I was hungry. I could sense that she was being overly flirtatious, but I reamined polite and courteous until she tried to seduce me with a kiss, even though I'd made it clear that I'd got a mate and she's all I ever wanted. I got up and ran for the door, then found out that she'd locked it...I thought that in a sickening way I was a prisoner, but then I saw an unlocked window and dashed out of it before she could get me. Then I ran away and spent the rest of the night in a barrell....and that's what happened." He said, breathed a sigh of exhaustion, and sat down, hoping he'd done enough to prove his case... but he could feel beads of sweat trickling down his neck....and the evidence of the pregnant belly may just have changed it all....He turned his rage on Tear.

"How do you know exactly what happened?....Nobody actually witnessed me "raping" you!!!" Balto spat in disgust. He heard people gasp at his words, but he couldn't help himself. He was so angry. He turned his eyes to Jenna, Saba and Dingo, now his last shred of hope.

They loved him.
They just had to believe him.

Tear watched as angry faces turned towards Balto. They HAD to belive her. After all, how would her stomache me swollen with pups? Trevor stood up at the judges seat and walked over to Levi. They took a three minute reccess to discuss things.

"We have decided whether Balto is innocent or guilty." Trevor said, returning to the judge's seat. He turned to Balto. "Balto, you are a great friend of mine, but I'm sorry. You are found guilty as charged. You..." He sighed. "You are not aloud to be within 100ft of Jenna AND her children. It does not matter if they are old ebough to leave the house, we will keep them safe. If anyone sees you anywhere near her, they must report to me. Balto, you WILL be banished if you do. And if anyone sees him after that. They have my permission to kill you. Dissmissed."

The other dogs left the Old Mill with evil glares at Balto. "How could he do that? I thought he was snarter! Why would he do that to a young innocent fox?!" silent conversations traveled around the room. Trevor walked over to Balto. "Balto, you are my friend. But please, I don't want you to get hurt."

Tear smiled from her spot, she had left the side of the stage and walked over to Levi. "I don't even remember it!" Tear
whispered to not seem suspicious. Yes! I've gotten rid of her now. Balto come to me. Beg for mercy. She glanced at Jenna, with Saba and Dingo helping the others take her to the boiler room. I wouldn't want to make any sacrifices...But I will just to have you. That is how much I love you. And my Pups. She sighed and remembered her old mate.

Tear was running towards Applegate and she was awful excited! She was carrying babies! She ran to her mate, Bao's house. She ran through the dog flap and made sure the humans wheren't home. She ran over to Bao when she saw him. He was a brown and grey husky. Just like Balto. "Bao! I'm carrying babies!" Bao turned around with an angry face. He knocked her with one paw, flying towards the wall. "Bao? What's wrong?" He growled and lunged at her. What the hell? She thought as he aimed for her neck. "I don't need you anymore! I have found ANOTHER love. I will kill you and live the rest of my days with my new mate." Bao growled. Tear gasped and ran away, blood and tears blinding her eyes. She made it out in time. Hopefully...

Then Niara started to talk."Okay,okay!Time out!You said that you are pregnant and that Balto does that.But,he never,NEVER loved you or tried to flirt with you,but you are in love with him!Isn't that true,Tear?"Niara shouted and looked to Tear with angryness.She was very angry that her best friend does that.Then she turned to Saba."Saba,Balto does not do that!He had never do that and i believe him!Tear tried to flirt with him,not Balto with Tear!Trust him and me,Saba!It's true!"she said and lowered her ears.
