Man...you know, all the people in this topic saying "he should be killed!!!" or "bring back the death sentence so he can be executed!!1!" are no better than he is.

Should he be punished? Yes.
Should his parents be tought some harsh lessons? Yes.
Should he receive a lot of psychological councilling? Yes.
Should he be killed? No.

For crying out loud, he's seven years old, I imagine he doesn't even have much of an idea of what he's done let alone how bad it really is. How many of you went into your garden and squashed ants? Or picked up worms and ran around with them or threw at your friend/sibling? Or pulled a cat's tail? Or a dog's ears? Or picked up an animal by it's tail when you were younger?
I'll bet - all of you and why? Because you didn't know any better and the same goes for him. He'll carry that over him his entire life and when he's old enough to properly understand it, he'll feel awfully guilty for it (or should anyway). He shouldn't be jailed for life or put to death over it, just taught that it's wrong and why it's wrong and his parents need to keep a closer eye on him.

Also, try not to get into the hunting debate here...it only causes fights.

Thats true Uk, no 7 year old should be put to death for doing that. Sure-it will be a burden on his back for the rest of his life, but he doesn't need to be put to death.

I don't want to be rude or anything but this Topic may get out of hand and if the boy's parents or any of his relatives find this they would probily sue Baltosource for use of death sentence oppinions over their son/cousin/nephew etc.

I have only this to say on the subject:
I don't support killing the kid, since it is my firm belief that an animals' life is not equal to a human's. Besides, killing the kid doesn't bring the animals back.
However, the kid has got to be punished somehow. It's a well-known fact that those who are violent to animals (not counting legitimate hunting) rarely stop there. Get my drift?

I have to say, I've been raised in a very animal friendly home so I am very protective of animals. I don't want to start a hunting debate but since it was brought up, I agree that for the right reasons, its fine but shouldn't be a sport, its not fair for both and thus not a sport. Anyway, I agree, the death pentilty thing was way to extreme. This kid needs a mental examination, not the electric chair. The way I see it, this kid must of been raised in a way that lef him not knowing right from wrong, anyone other than a sadist would know its wrong.

kk well for those who believe in ghost and such then you might find my answeres intruiging.. those who don't then blah.. but some people can be posessed by demons but these people wouldn't remember what happened during the posession.. cuz first off.. I HAVE NEVER heard of 7 year olds doing such things.. like a 7 year old to know what to do and how to easily kill these animals and have the mind to climb a fence at the right time and knowing he wouldn't be seen... hmmmm .... kind of off track isn;t it ? unless this kid was like the next einstein or watched way too much CSI or some police things or something.. cuz how would a 7 yr old know he wouldn't be seen, kill animals in 30 minutes .... easily may i add... so i don't know?..

Not that I don't believe in demonic involvement in this world, but might I point out the amount of violence kids are exposed to these days? I mean it's well-known that by age six most kids have seen (literally) a million murders on TV.

yes very good point... there's probably 5x more violance than there was 10 years ago on TV shows even for kids .. i.e Ninja turtle for example lol no offense :P .. but it's about fighting mutant turtles and no matter what kids will think they're real and think it's accepted to fight with sticks and daggers?!.. to be honest i think there should be an age restriction on shows... and to show again movies these days there quite a few sex scenes or intense activity if you know what i mean... and that's why lately you see 16 yr olds pregnant and 13 yr olds having sex... and even hearing about 11 or so yr olds doing it too... and this is increasing in kids minds.. and even rated kid shows have "fighting" scenes..

but again.. i stick to my opinion... either this kid was actually posessed (it does exist.. you can read up on Anneliese Michel the most famous - her case was based on the movie of The Exorcism of Emily Rose) or the kid watched a lot of crime shows, or his parents tought him something?!.. but who knows and the odd thing is.. there's nothing saying much besides the kid killed animals in 30 minutes, fed them to the crocodile... there should be more information on this 7 yr old and what his parents said cuz this a kind of failed article to me.. lol

Demonic pocession is possible and I believe in it, though then to prove it we'd have to find out where the spirit came from. Anyway you're right that we needed to know more about the parents and the child themselves. For all we know, his parents could keep him locked in the basement and train him to kill animals.

I agree, TV needs more restrictions. A lot more. Some of the prime-time shows you see these days... *shakes head* 30 years ago, the creators would have been drawn and quartered. Well, maybe not, but they'd never work in show biz again, that's for sure.

But it not may be only that, I mean why only reptiles? He could of given the croc other little animals too, plus I've seen a lot of zoo's and all of them, The Croc's are always lockated in the middle of the zoo or at a far end. And the way he was able to get the reptiles and in the croc's cage then he would be able to do the same to birds and other little animals too.

Maybe the reptiles where the closest, and easiest Animals to the Crocs.
