What Breed Of Dog Do You Own?

I have a four year old (I think...) Irish Setter named Quin he is still my baby though and acts a lot like a puppy most of the time.

I have Rough Collie, named Dina (Dinah). She's 2-3 years old ATM, and I love her dearly. She has a very good personality, doesn't bark at people and doesn't attack them or other dogs.

I've got a Border collie/German shepherd? mix named Rosie. She turned a year old last month. ^^

Currently I have three dogs that live at my parents' house (Kayla, Maiden & Motley) and one at my grandparents' (Piper).

Kayla our Siberian Husky/Dachshund mix. She is 15 years old. (Daddy - the Dachshund - used a step ladder. Or drank some Red-Bull. Whichever. =])

I've had this dog for what seems like forever! I still remember the day we got her. <3 Such an adorable little puppy she was!

Kayla is very camera shy. Always has been. But I still love her. <3 I've been through a lot with this girl. And even though she's getting older she still gets all excited when I come down to visit my parents and pets.

Maiden our American Pit Bull Terrier/Rat Terrier mix.

She's about 3 years old and very playful! She's rather camera shy however, so it can be hard to get a good shot of her. Just moments before I took this one she was doing a cute little pose. -.- Brat. But she's not as bad as Kayla!

I just love this little doggy though. She's such a doll and everyone who meets her falls in love.

Motley our American Pit Bull Terrier.

And he just turned 5 months old today - 9.10.10.

A few weeks ago I went down to visit him, Maiden and Kayla - along with my parents and little sister lol - and this was one of the few shots I actually got of him sitting still. He mostly was trying to get either me to throw the ball there or for his "big sister" Maiden to play with him.

Hopefully soon I'll have some more pictures of Motley before he gets too big! (All though he is about 40lbs at the moment and thinks he's a little lap dog - so typical of pitties. =])

Piper, she's an unknown mix.

As a young puppy (about 4 months old we think) she was found wandering down the middle of a country road all alone, dirty and unfed. A kind man that owns a Greyhound rescue with his wife pulled over and picked her up - fearing she might be hit by a car or attacked by a coyote. My uncle who was in the process of adopting a Greyhound from that place was told about this little dog because the man who found her knew my grandma was interested in a dog. We went down to see the puppy and a short while later, she had a new name and a new home.

Piper is a fantastic dog, especially since no one knows what those first few months of her life were like. I really love this dog and it seems like we've had her forever when its only been about 4 years. She's highly intelligent, too.

We believe she has some pit in her (she's got many of the characteristics of one), but what other breeds - we're unsure. Regardless, this mutt is a wonderful companion.

In person she actually looks more along the lines of a Bassit Hound due to her size, she is much larger than a Dachshund. Lol. But I suppose as long as the larger dog is the female any breed mix is possible (a friend of my boyfriend's has a German Shepherd/Chihuahua mix), though even if it is unprobable a responsible owner will always spay/neuter their dog to prevent puppies from ending up in the pound/in the hands of irresponsible owners.

Also, Ginger is beautiful! She looks very soft and cuddly. x]

heh.

His name is Rex. I got him from a rescue group in Los Angeles, after they pulled him from a shelter where he was scheduled to be killed. Can you believe somebody dumped him at a shelter?
