Sally yelpped and fell on her back.

Luke started crying, causing a heavy rain to start.

Ayr tried to stand on his hind legs like the rest of them but couldn't. He let out a sharp whine and narrowed his yellow eyes coldly. A low growl rang deep in his throat and erupted through his teeth. "Who would do this?" he snarled and frowned, looking extremly mad and some what frightening. He glanced at Luke who what crying and Ayr's anger level rose, making a furious thunder storm appear that reflected his mood. Why couldn't he stand up like everyone else? Could he change back into a human too?

Rose picked herself up and seated herself next to Luke. She put an arm around him and another around Sally. She gently ran her and through Luke's fur, though it was a bit difficult when her hadns were also covered in fur. "It's okay, Luke," Rose hushed in a calm, gentle voice. "Everything's alright. No one's hurt or anything. We're all just fine."

Danielle's mind was in a buzz and she barely registered the thunder storm. But part of her mind told her that she was the leader of the group and she needed to calm it, calm their fears. Rose was handling the pups. Danielle would tackle the task of trying to sooth Ayr. She knelt beside the black and white wolf, laying her arm over his back and the other rubbing his neck and chest. "Ayr, calm down. Everything will be alright. I don't know who did this but we'll figure it it out." Her voice was desperate, scared, and fast. She hated being confused, having things out of her control. "Aryagorn!" she nearly shouted. She was like a pack leader, ordering one of her packmates to remain calm. She was desperate for him to understand that being angry wasn't helping anything.

Dispite everything, a slight smile played at teh corner of JAcob's mouth. Rose was defiantly a great frined to have. He watched her comfor the pups and moved towards them to help. "She's right. We're all ok and we'll find a way to fix this. Don't worry."

Alice looked at Danielle. "Need hlep?" she asked. Jacob was helping Rose so she'd help Danielle if she needed it. She moved to sit by them. "Ayr, calm down. We'll get ti fixed up." She hoped.

Luke whimpered, his part of the rain stopping. "I was just scared."

Sally nodded. "Me too."

Luke was still upset, so a light rain continued to fall but the lighting from Ayr's storm made it scarier. "H-how do we fix this?"

As soon Danielle touched Ayr his frown vanished, along with his anger and the rain. He let out a slight wimper and laid his head on her shoulder. He jumped back in astonishment when she used his full name. He itlted his head to the side slightly and opened his mouth. "It's okay Dan...keep it together and we'll get through this..." he whispered so low that no one else could hear. "I don't know whats going on but we will get through this...I bet my life on that..."

Rose looked down at the pup with sad eyes. "I... I don't know, Luke." Then, before Luke could get upset again, she added, "But we'll figure something out."

Danielle smiled Ayr. "I know," she said in a low voice, barely above a whisper. She looked away, quickly wiping away a tear she had barely noticed fall. She looked back up and Ayr and gave a deep, ragged breath. She gave him one more sad smile before standing up and looking at the group. "Alright. First things first. As everyone knows we are one of the last generations of Gaia and probably the largest group that any town has." She paused. "Which means we probably have the best chance at fixing this mess."

"And what exactly does that mean?" Rose asked, trying to keep her voice light anf calm for Luke and Sally.

"That means we have to travel to Siberia," Danielle explained. "I don't know who did this, but we can worry about that after we fix the stone."

"I can help with my telepathy." said Sally. She looked with her telepathy to Manther. "He's a male, he took a piece of the stone with him."

Luke licked Rose's face.

Ayr swallowed sligtly and nodded at Danielle. He interupted quietly "uh...hey Dan...should I try changing back into a human? I havn't tried yet..."

Bic:// Rose smiled at Luke and patted his head. She turned to Sally. "He took some of it with him?" she said. "But why would he do that? Isn't breaking the stone enough?" She said the last part irritably.

Danielle looked at Ayr and blinked. A bit of hope fluttered in her stomach. Then reality hit again, and she sighed. "It doesn't matter," she said, sitting on the ground and hugging her legs to her chest. "I mean, the stone's broken. That's what gave all of us our powers. None of us could turn back." She motioned with her head to everyone around them. "Why would you be able to and not the rest of us?" She looked to the ground saddly.

Sally nuzzled Danielle, trying to cheer her up. "We can fix it." she said. "If we can put the stone back togather, that will probably fix everything...maybe...no it will work."

Luke looked at Rose. "Maybe to stop us from putting it back togather?"

Ayr saw the flutter of hope flair in Danielle and he prepared to transform back. But as soon as he saw Danielle hope vanish, do did his. He let out a slight whine and sat down next to Danielle. Suddenly rage flared in Ayr's chest. He jumped up, "What are we waiting for?" he asked "lets find the person who ruined this for us."
