I really can't believe I never posted in this. xD Since a LOT of people have inquired where I got my username from in the 3 years I've been here. ^^; For those of you that are familiar with the book (and now movie) series The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants should know of the character Tibby. From the first time I saw the movie, I thought her character was pretty cool. Plus, Amber Tamblin is one of my favorite actresses and has been in some of my favorite television shows ("Joan of Arcadia"). But not only was Tibby my favorite character, she's the one I could relate to the most. There are many personality traits I share with the character of Tibby Rollins ; and still do now. The more unique thing was that out of my close group of friends (there are 4 of us), there was basically a character that 'represented' each of us four. And they all thought Tibby just fit me most. (Apart from the fact Tibby has a blue highlight... x]). So some of my friends started calling me Tibb/Tibby. Then, eventually when I found BaltoSource, I decided I wanted a username that reflected part of my personality. And Tibby was the first thing I thought of. It just seemed to fit! But I didn't want it to just be "Tibby". That would be boring. And I've always hated when people have usernames of just a character from a movie or something without anything else. So I had to decide what to fit with it that might work. Of cource, the second part of my name comes from my favorite animal. I've always loved wolves. Well, at least I have since 4th grade. The book series Julie of the Wolves. That's what really got me keen on wolves. I even did a lot of reserach about them in my spare time back in the 4th grade. Anyway. I finally figured out what I wanted my username to be. I was going to combine a character that was a lot like me, and my favorite animal. And tada. Tibb_wolf. The one and only.

Uh, well...I've always admired those people who can dance on flaming hot coals...and....well....XD Then I saw a Blue Peter episode that feautured it, and I was dispapointed to find that the PRESENTER could do it after what...a few hours of practise? And why thorns? Well, I guess I was in a bit of a spiky mood....and random...... Foxy Aleu wrote: A description of Aleu, but before,it was a description of Jenna. UNFAITHFUL!!! XD Toastberg wrote: I ended up with my username on a long and boring car trip. I was staring out the winddow, at a big puddle and... then i kinda thought about toast floating on it... and somehow that turned into a toastberg. Oh yeah and what a toastberg is? well its a frozen lump of toast, floating around some cold place. Like an iceberg, except made of toast. Don't ask. My brain confuses me sometimes. God, I LOVE YOUR NAME! 8D Waht an AMAZING thing to come up with! *worships* Mmmm....Toast......*imagins penguins made of butter sliding down a toastberg* XD

I've been asked about my username before, so I'll answer here. To my thinking, dragons are not the inherently evil monsters many cast them as. I concede that they were used as symbols of evil (many have asked how I can be a Christian and be into dragons, which I will incidentally explain), but then so have goats and lions. Does that make goats and lions evil? No. I have spent considerable time around goats, and although they can be extremely trying at times, they are in no way inherently evil. As for lions, pfft. Say that to Aslan's face if you dare. Ergo, I believe that dragons were simply animals (my speaking of them as having existed is no accident, and I believe it to be a scientifically and historically defensible position), no better or worse than any other species. However, like any animal, they tended to become problematic at times. And owing to their extraordinary power, they got into very BIG trouble. Many writers and artists on this site are much the same way: they are extremely gifted, and that kind of gift lends itself to certain abuses. I do not, however, advocate "slaying" (banning) them right off. Instead, if at all possible, I try to encourage whatever "dragons" I encounter to put their skills to better use, hence "Dragon Tamer."

That makes 2 of us,I'm also a christian and have loved dragons since I was born. After all,you have to wonder how they became a part of so many cultures(maybe they did exist, maybe they didn't).Plus they were often used as symbols of good(asian dragons) and as power or authority as well as evil. Anyway,I named myself joker because of well, the joker from the Dark Knight since I couldn't decide what else to use as a username.

Well, when I first discovered this site, I wanted to join but I couldnt think of a username, so I decided to think about it while I was watching Home Alone, I like to watch that movie because it is funny, and the main character has the same name as me. Thats when it came to me, the first part of my name, Kevin. The next day we had to go to Alaska because my dad had to do some business over there, and mom wanted to go too, I didn`t mind the idea, so we all went. (boy, you should`ve seen how grumpy I was when I was woken up at 4:30 am) When we got to Alaska, we stayed in Nome (it was kinda dull, but the few wolves you get to see every now and then is pretty cool.) I was bored so I went to explore, I am the adventurous type who doesnt want to be cooped up in one of my dad`s friend`s house lol. Soon I got tired of walking around and I sat on a rock, after an hour of sitting there looking at nature, I saw a grey wolf, well it was mostly white, but it had patches of grey here and there. It wouldnt come to me when I called it, and I was hungry, so I ate the sandwhich that mom packed me, but I didnt eat the crust. The grey wolf ran up and snatched the crust and ate it, the poor thing was probably starving, after about half an hour of sitting there patiently, it came over to me, sniffing the area where he had taken the crust, and then he looked up at me with a cute pleading face as if he wanted more food. Me and my family still had two days to spend with my dads friend, both of them had to discuss business. The next day I brought two sandwhiches to the same place, and the grey wolf came out and ate the 2nd sandwhich. He wouldnt let me pet him, but spending the remaining two days with that wolf was quite interesting, mom waas wondering why I stayed out so late every night, anyway, when I got back home, I made my username 'Kevin the grey wolf'
