Emmett ran quickly through the forest. It wasn't his best speed, but the wind through his fur helped clear his head. He closed his eyes as he let his legs move and his mind wonder. He thought back to the day when he met that wolf. What was her name?! He didn't know why it bothered him so much, but it did. Simple as that. Emmett continued looking back at this memory until he remembered it. Bronze! Bang! Emmett it something and fell back. He opened his eyes in surprise, he thought he new this woods like the back of his paw and wouldn't run into any trees even if he had his eyes closed. But what lay in front of him surprised him even more. "Bronze?"

Bronze stared. Suddenly, his name came back to her. "Emmet? Emmet! What are you doing here? Are you okay?"

"I wanted to clear my head," Emmett said. "My family's bothering me about-... stuff." He didn't want to tell Bronze how much trouble he had been after playing with her.

Emmett nodded, not sure what to say to his old friend. Times had changed since they were pups. He had heard so any stories about wolves attacking people and huskys, but he couldn't imagine Bronze doing have those things.

Bronze felt uncomfortable. She had been told of huskies leading humans to kill wildlife andfighting wolves but couldn't dream that Emmet would do that.

Emmett sighed. "Well, after we met and I went home, my mom and dad told me these stories. I don't believe any of them, but they were about huskies getting lost in the woods or wolves attacking sled teams when they're resting. It's just so hard not to believe some of those things. And I actually believed them as a pup. But now, seeing you again, I'm not sure what to believe."
