we do need to keep this topic alive, in my opinion. these spammers and flammers NEED to see that this site doesnt put up with any inapropriate chatting. and newbies need to see that we take rules seriously so they dont start participating in any of the funny buisness.

True true, it would be awesome though if the automated banning could be set for specific time periods of the 24 hour period of a day. Because this type of system has the tendency to be abused if it runs all the time. It was misused when it used to work, although I think extremely rarely, perhaps only a few times (in those cases the victims weren't totally innocent anyway), but now, with lots more members and therefore lots more abusive members, I'm not sure how much of a good idea it would be.
