Kai nodded, watching his 'uncle' leave. He couldn't cry, he couldn't. He couldn't just cry. Kai, in every way, was more like his GrandFather, Bashkei. Almost never crying, standing tall, and lettign the sadness out in pure fighting. But, he was still a pup! In a blind rage, Kai reammed his side against the wall of the foundation, a few tears running down his face, from both his Mother, and the pain going through his shoulder.
Kodi sighed, wrapping a paw about Lena and Katie. He gave a slight laugh however, when he saw really, how similar Mother and Daughter were.
Jenna chuckled. "It's alright, my fur will dry Cachen." she rubbed the damp spot of her chest. "Now, is that all?" she asked with a giggle.
Tai went deep red, and yelled out "GRANDPA!" he betted him with a tiny paw in the side of the head. Tai could do damage if she wanted, but right now, more embarassed if anything. "That's gross!" she cried.

Fang heard the impact but remembered stories from Katie about the wolf Kai was named after. He looked at Dusty, like Katie she too was asleep, he didn't know if it was a normally sleep or the deep sleep that came with this illness.
Lena rolled over in her sleep, having nice calming dreams.
"Ow, sorry, I was just joking." said Balto, chuckling. "I know you're a big girl, big girls don't do that, little puppies do that." he said, softly batting his granddaughter back.
Cachen nodded. "I feel better now." he said, smiling. "Grandma, what was my papa like as a little pup?" he asked.

Kai breathed heavily, tearing whatever he could down, and wha he couldn't of course, he let be, the tears still falling.
Kodi smiled, looking at Lena, who seemed to be having a peaceful sleep.
Jenna laughed. "Your Papa...Well, let's say he wasn't the fastest out of his own brothers and sisters...And that really upset him. So GrandPa taught him everyday, how to run faster, and be stronger." she nuzzled Cachen lightly.
Tai rubbed her reddened cheek, stil a bit embarassed. "Hmmph." she giggled good naturedly, and licked her GrandFather's nose.

Fang sighed, happy at least Dusty wasn't hurting in her dreams. "Sweet dreams, but please wake up." he whispered. He decided to let Kai blow off his saddness and anger.
Lena roll on her back, her legs kicking like she was running but not from something, more like she was having fun. She accdently kicked Kodi in the stomach, not knowing it.
Balto licked his granddaughter's red cheeks. "You're a big girl but..." Balto started tickling Tai's sides but kept her in the blanket so she could stay warm. "You'll never be too big for me to play with you!"
Cachen smiled. "Grandpa sure is nice...could he teach me to run like papa one day?"

Kai sighed, standing on shaky limbs, claws extended. He had gotten a few cuts and bruises from the entirety, a corner of his mouth was even bleeding a bit. The tears had neraly stopped, silver form laying down.
Kodi got the wind kicked out of him as his daughter's leg kicked him in the stomach. His head gently laid down into the light colored fur of his mate, and a paw restraining Lena's motions.
Jenna nodded. "I bet he would." she chuckled.
Tai laughed, squirming about underneath the blankets. "Oh Grandpa!" she laughed, trying to curl herself up.

Fang walked back to Kai. He wiped the blood off the corner of the little wolfdog's mouth. "Feel better now?" he asked.
Lena squirmed despite her father's restraining her, she was having such a nice dream, which could be told by the rapid wagging of her tai slapping against her father.
Balto chuckled. "I love my grandchildren, you included Tai." he said, suddenly the wind and snow began to pick up almost to the point Balto was knocked back but he managed to stay over Tai protectively. "Tai, stay in the blanket." he yelled over the storm. "Jenna! Get Cachen on the boat!" he yelled as he picked Tai up in the blanket and carried her towards the boat.
Cachen buried his face back in Jenna's chest to protect it. "Grandma, what's happening?" he asked scared of the loud wind.

Kai nodded lightly, opening his eyes. "Mhm," he kept his head down, and ears pinned back.
Kodi chuckled, not really minding Lena's tail wagging back and forth, slapping against him. But, he still kept his paw on her side.
Jenna nodded, looking down at Cachen. "Don't worry." she called over the wind. Quickly picking him up and placing ihm on her back. "Just protect your face!" she yelled, starting toward thwe boat.
Tai nodded, shielding her face from the small clouds of sand, curled up in the blanket. She, too, was a bit afraid of the loud wind, whipping everything this way and that.

Fang set down next to Kai. "See? I told you letting out your emotions makes you feel better and more importently, if its bottled up inside, it could come out all at once at the wrong time and then you could hurt someone you care for and you don't want that do you?"
Lena was enjoying her dream very much, she let out two, small happy barks, right next to Katie's ear.
"Hang on Tai!" yelled Balto. He got to his boat and took Tai into where he normally slept, guarding her from the wind. "Tai, stay here, I'm going to go help grandma and Cachen get to safety, alright?" he asked. He ran back out and found Jenna. "Is Cachen alright? Come on, I'll help you." he yelled and shielded some of the wind from Jenna with his body.
Cachen pulled the bandana up over his face to help protect it. He remembered why she'd given it too him and he stayed brave.

Kai shook his head, rubbign his cheek against his paw. He didn't feel liek talking all that much.
Katie jolted up, giving a loud yelp. She looked about, seeing Kodi, who's eyes had widened. "Sorry, Kodi.." she said softly, barely above a whisper.
Jenna nodded, keeping her head level, so Cachen's head was buried into the back of her neck. "Is Tai alright?" she asked over the howl of the winds. Worry went across every inch of her.
Tai nodded, watchign her Grandfather race off to help Jenna and Cachen get to the boat. She stayed protected against the wall, eyes shut tight and body curled up. Red fur would being to shiver, and the blanket covered her face as she whined out.

Fang nodded. "Now, rest a little and we'll take you back to your papa." he said.
Lena was still asleep and it was obvious she was having a happy dream. "Don't worry momma...I won't let you down." she said out loud in her sleep.
Balto nodded. "Yes! She's protected from the wind! Now lets get little Cachen safe!" he said. "Jenna, take my tail in your mouth so we don't get seperated!" he yelled.
Cachen fought hard not to cry in fear, he was going to be brave like Jenna wanted him to.

Kai nodded, laying his head down. Quickly, he fell asleep with a few sniffs.
Kodi smiled, looking down at Katie who smiled back. "I couldn't be prouder of you, Lena." Katie whisper, licking her muzzle.
Jenna nodded "Alright." she reached up, gently taking Balto's tail into her mouth. But she made sure not to hurt him. She glanced back at Cachen with a bit of worry.
Tai, however, couldn't take the howling, a few tears of fright filling her eyes and spilling over her cheeks. She gave a light yowl, before starting to whimper. She didn't like to be alone, especially in this weather.

Fang curled around little Kai to protect him.
Lena smiled but gentell batted Katie's muzzled in her sleep, it would look rather cute.
Balto lead Jenna and Cachen onto the deck and over to Tai. He curled around Tai, snuggling her gentelly. "Its ok Tai, its alright, grandpa's here now." he said reassuringly. "Jenna hows Cachen?" he asked before going back to comfort little Tai. "I'm so sorry for leaving Tai but I had to help grandma and Cachen." he said before nuzzling her.
Cachen slipped off Jenna's back and onto the deck. He pulled the bandana back over her neck. "Grandma, was I brave?" he asked, cocking his head.

Kai sighed, curling jup into a little silver ball in his sleep.
Katie blinked but gave light smile at Lena. She couldn't resist her baby.
Jenna nodded, nuzzling Cachen gently. "Yes, you were very brave sweetie, I'm so proud of you." she smiled slightly, still shielding him from the wind, just in case.
Tai nodded, snuggled deep against her Grandfather. "I know.." she said shakily, eyes shut tightly.

Fang smiled at Kai, feeling a lot like Kai in how they acted sometimes.
Lena started acting scared a worried. Tears start down her face and she sounded like she was crying. It would be obvious her dream was now a nightmare.
"I'm sorry Tai." said Balto, curling snuggly around his granddaughter to keep her warm. "You're safe now, I'd never let anything hurt you." he said.
Cachen smiled and snuggled up to Jenna for warmth. "I was brave!" he said, very proud of himself. "Thanks for helping me be brave grandma." he said, nuzzling her.

Jenna nodded, curling around Cachen to keep him warm. "you're welcome, Cachen." she smiled down at him, eyes half closed.
Tai nodded, giving one or two shivers. "I..I was just scared, 'cause I was alone." she said sweetly, looking up with tearstained blue eyes.
