Colton finally could relax and de-tense him to focus all of his energy on Miley. "Alright Miley wipe you tears and if you can hear this we may have a second chance at this case" he said never questioning a decision by a higher-up before but to him this was important. "I love Miley truthfully I'm attracted to faes like you and if I know you correctly then you can recover"

Colton at first thought that Miley was just going to leave to stretch but then hit him that she was trying to leave especially when the doctors wanted her. This could be an oppurtunity for Miley and then hurried out grabbing her by the scruff like a pup. "There are doctors here to help you out they may be able to give you your hearing too" he said but rathered showed her when they were inside a vet's office.

"Ow" he said and winced just a little but if Miley can be stubborn so can he. She needed that ear surgery very badly and nothing was going to ever change his mind as he handed over Miley to the doctors. He wondered if she would ever just stop trying to be strong and listen to other people. Hours passed and Colton was just a little curious as to what was happening behind the waiting room.

Colton heard the crashing and followed Miley's scent she left behind now that his sense of smell was much more sensative and as he ran he listened identifying streets with the sounds and smells in his mind giving his own personal vision. He then stopped noticing that she stopped in the middle of a street and heard two cars. "MILEY! RUN!!!!!!" he yelled but then realized she couldn't hear and ran through the crosswalk his fate about to be decided...

He ran grabbing her by the scruff one last time making it barely before the two cars collided into each other making a huge heap of twisted, burnt, metal. Colton was considered very lucky but it was his new found "sight" that kept Miley out of danger. "Look next time if you considered trying to run from the doc's office stop in a place where you don't have a chance of being run over" he said and smirked realizing she didn't want to go back. "And also I want to apologize for forcing you to the doc's"

Colton at first wanted to follow after Miley but realized that in order for her to come back he would have to solve case which meant going at it alone without anyone else Fine then see if you can make it without me he thought angrily and snarled behind her back heading towards the stadium. He walked the other way solemnly alone towards the stadium where he still had full access inside and out using that to his full advantage, he did what any other police dog would do. He needed to know why this was happening and his accounts with the gunfight did help. They wanted no one to find out and were disposing of the victim who knew.

"Miley is investigating a lead on the case sir near the uptown estates" Colton said knowing that someway he would constantly have to keep her covered. You owe big later Miley he thought taking notice of the doberman with his unique scent and snarled knowing he was the one hitting on his partner in the arena. "Sir are you sure you want this doberman here as someone to be on the case he is constant ladies' man using them as points on a scorecard" he said yet again treading into hotter water
