Lena sighed as she saw the duck flying away and she heard her father's howl and didn't respond, she didn't care at the moment. She had some looks of Aleu..but that was from her grandfather. She sighed as her eyes went towards the forest, thinking maybe she should stay there..that would be better, atleast she would feel like she belonged. She had heard about her aunt, but never met her and that always sorta...was ok with Lena, another person to get to know, it wasn't that great. She sighed, but as she was about to go towards town, she heard a call and it sounded like Balto, or something. She howled as she rushed into the forest and saw a figure not far. She ran over and saw a grey wolfdog. She smiled as she said "I am Lena...Kodi's daughter and grandaughter of Balto..let me help you ma'm", she said with a smile as she went to the side..no clue this was her aunt..

Aleu's eyes went wide. "Kodi?...Kodiak? He's your dad? Please go get him, I'm too weak to walk. Please go get him, tell him his sister Aleu's back and she's in trouble." begged Aleu. She didn't just need Kodi cause she needed help, she'd wanted to see him again for so long.

Lena listened to the female and as she said sister. She backed away and said "Your Aleu..your my aunt. I can't get my dad..I'm mad at him and I ran..like you did" she said as she looked at Aleu. Her eyes watering a little, but she went to Aleu and leaned against her, hoping that she would lean back and raise her up. Lena was Kodi's daughter...so she should be able to help.

Niju let out a long, deep, threatening howl..

Aleu smiled as Lena leaned up against her, she managed to get enough energy to nuzzle her niece. "I know you're angry, I know how you feel. But we both overreacted. I was the same age as you but now that I think about it, I made a mistake and I ended up being away from my family for years. Our dads made a mistake by hiding something from us but they had good intentions at heart." She uses her tail to wipe the pups tears away. Then she heard Niju's howl and fear filled her. She managed to get up, pick her niece up by the back of the neck and take both into a bush nearby, running on adrinaline. "Stay quiet or we might both die."

Lena was getting mad at Aleu, as she was about to walk away, but she couldn't that. "I am not wanting by a human.....I am hated here now.." she said with a sad tones. She smiled a little as she looked at her aunt and still listened to her and thought that maybe she was overeacting..she shrugged off the feeling and began to move, before she heard the howl- it was close really close. She heard Aleu and nodded as she slowly began to walk, her aunt leaning on her, she was thinking of letting out a howl for Kodi, but whoever that was..wanted Aleu, she could tell by the fear in her eyes..

Niju moved swiftly through the forest, his dark fur easily seen by anyone. He smirked as he picked up the scent of Aleu..and another female. A bigger smirk hit his maw. He then moved through the forest till he spotted the grey female, she was weak. Another female, just as beautiful, maybe even a little more than Aleu. He easily walked out and said "Miss me Aleu.."

Aleu looked at Niju in fear. Some how Niju looked just as powerful as he did last time she saw him, which would normally be a good thing because she was older and stronger now but now she was too exshausted to fight. Then she thought of something. She managed to stand under her own will power. "Niju, I might be weak but I can still fight back and there is two of us and only one of you. Plus, from the looks of things, we're close to the town of Nome, my old home. If we fight, odds are one of, maybe all my siblings will hear it and come here, maybe even my dad. Do you really like those odds?" she asked, faking a smile, she was bluffing, she couldn't fight at all and she wasn't sure her niece could handle Niju alone, her backup might all of moved away in the time she was gone, the only one she could count on was Kodi and he could be too far away to hear the fight. She hopped Niju would fall for the bluff.

Lena was not shaking with fear, Fight or Flight that was what was going through her head. Her eyes narrowed as she looked at the dark colored wolf. She growled as she slightly left Aleu, and barred her ivories and then let out a howl, one that she didn't want to make. She knew that it could cost her her own life, but it was worth it to save her aunt. She sighed as she looked at him but still listened for a howl back; from Kodi

"Aleu- you are the worst liar ever" he smirked as he looked at the brave yearling before him. He looked at her and said "Doll, back up..you don't want to mess with me" he said with a such a smirk as he stood a step forward, but then turned and walked around Aleu and Lena and smirked "Two beautiful dogs..." he then heard Lena's howl and said "Big mistake, doll" he growled as he lunged for Lena

Aleu reacted as fast as she could. She pushed her niece out of Niju's path and tried to get out of the way herself but her right leg hit Niju's shoulder, taking the full impact. She cried out in pain as she felt her shoulder dislocate and she hit the ground hard. She laid on the ground, she knew Niju was going to kill her but she still had the hope in the back of her mind that her family was coming, they could save Lena. She heard another howl echo through the forest. She knew who it was and smiled. Now they didn't have to stop Niju, just hold him off. She forced herself to rise despite the agonizing pain in her shoulder. She limped over to her niece and put herself between Lena and Niju. "I won't let you hurt my niece Niju."

Kodi ran as fast as he could, he hopped Tai could keep up but he couldn't look back to make sure. He knew Lena was in danger, real danger, she needed her dad to protect her this time. Kodi couldn't let her down. He howled.

Katie sighed, looking about the clearing, for any sign, any sign of her mate, her daughters, anything! Her fur blew in the wind, and along with it; mixed scents. First she could smell someone, who smelled like Kodi...Then, to her relief there was Lena. But, there was someone else; someone Katie had never smelled before. Who seemed so threatening, just by their scent! Listening to the howl, along with her sons, she had no time to explain! In a streak of silver she went off with Kai and Cachen close behind her. Following her daughter's so distinctive voice, anger rising inside her form the very depths of her spirit, I hope this guy, whoever he is, know who's daughter he's messing with! her voice had reached a low growl and by the time she got to the scene, her sons flopping over each other-as usual when Kai made a short stop. Katie rolled her eyes, looking back in time to see Aleu block Lena from harm, but got herself hurt in the process. It was when this dark wolf started talking that got her blood bioling. She couldn't take it! Leaping form the bushes in a sprint of energy she came infront of both her sister-in-law and her daughter "Take one more step and you'll regret the day you laid eyes on either of these two!" she was low to the ground, fur on end and glittering teeth bared. Her usally calm teal eyes were angry, and around them was a hint of red from such rage. "I'm warning you now! Stay away from these two or I'll get my entire pack on you!" of course, another bluff for her side, she had been somewhat outcasted form her pack, for being with Kodi. But Katie prayed Niju would believe her story...Oh, Kodi, hurry... she had heard her mate's howl, and straigthened up, giving a deep, urgent one in response.



Tai smiled as her Father said such encouraging words. And her eyes seemed to light up with each word he spoke. She really did look up to Kodi, out her love and respect as his daughter. But that tender moment was broken as Lena's howl was heard, and she followed close behind her Father. from instinct knowing it was important from the urgency in her sister's voice. Tai howled back, though her body was that of a husky, she had a wolfen voice like no other. So soft and deep...


Cachen blinked, looking form behind a large pine tree at the scene before her, he and Kai had never seen their Mother so enraged! Or angry at all! She was always so sweet, but that darned maternal instinct...(lol) Istantly his wolfen side got the better of him and his tawny form moved around the smaller clearing apart from his own where he and his family resided. Those deep brown eyes would scan over his aunt and Niju, just knowing from Katie's reaction he was no good. Quickly he slinked down to Aleu and Lena grabbing his aunty by the scruff of her neck, leaning her against him. Even his voice sounded like his GrandFather's! "Lena, come on, help me." his voice sounded strained from all the work he was doing, just carrying the older hybrid by himself. "We have to get out of here. Kai's helping Mom..." his muzzle pointed to Katie, whom they wer behind and now Aleu's silver twin, her own nephew Kai, standing beside his Mother, eyes engulfed in the same type of anger.

Aleu was relieved she wouldn't have to hold off Niju to protect her niece, she couldn't of done much. She looked over Katie, she could smell Kodi's scent on her and the pups that came to her aid, this was Kodi's family. Katie was small for a wolf but Aleu could tell her true strength. She resonated with power but Aleu also sensed Katies loving spirit, she must of seen Niju try to attack Lena, protective mother, Aleu knew Katie could probaby take Niju even without her pups. "Always knew Kodiak would find himself a good mate." Aleu said, then she looked at the other pups. She was suprised at how much the one helping hold her up looked like her dad and sounded like him, he also shared her father's willingness to help someone in need. The other one helpping his mother looked like her at that age, he was obviously very brave. So was Lena, she knew letting out that howl could get her attacked by Niju but she did it, that was very brave. Aleu could see Lena was mad at Kodi, she'd pretty much been told Lena ran for the same reason she had, did Lena not know who she was ether? Aleu had heard another howl with Kodi's, probably a forth pup. "And such wonderful pups." she looked at the pups helping her. "Thanks for the help. Could you please try to get my shoulder back into place? I won't be such a burden on you then." Her dislocated shoulder was causing her too much pain to put any effort at walking on her right leg, having to hold up all of her wieght was putting a large strain on the smaller wolfdogs. She'd put her shoulder back into place but she barely had enough strength to stand.

Kodi heard his mate's ergent howl. "Thank heavens her mother found her." He replied with another howl to tell her he was on his way then looked over his shoulder to Tai. "Can you go faster?" he asked.

Lena was down to the ground, as her teeth barred, but her eyes widened as she saw Niju lunge for her, but she would take it if- bam. She felt herself being pushed away, but she didn't know what that meant as she opened her eyes and saw her aunt being attacked by this dark colored wolf. Lena was furious, and even more when she heard the call of Kodi. SHe called him to tell him that someone was here and attacking them, and it wasn't as if she didn't suspect that he would come to help, of course he would. Lena sighed as she pulled on Niju's tail as the attention was turned on her. She growled as she finally saw a figure approaching, thinking it was her father but what she saw was nothing of the sort. It was her mother and her brother. A small smile was appearing on her maw as she heard her mother's tunes and rolled her eyes as she knew it was a lie. She walked over to Aleu and nuzzled her, making sure her leg was ok. She then heard the howl of her father and sighed, she didn't want to see him right now..or ever. She smiled at her mother, but as she heard the howl of her father, she growled...Niju saw this and smirked a little. Lena looked at Aleu who was rather weak, and she knew that she couldn't fight Niju off herself, so she moved next to her mother and growled, barring her ivories..ready to protect ANYONE from this male.

Niju smirked as he took a chunk of Aleu and said "Taste good, need some more of that blood of yours"..he was a little sick in the head, but he wanted Aleu..Lena...Tai..Kai..Katie and every female and male in that family to be dead. Aleu would be dead and the pack would be his. He heard another howl and growled, ready to attack Lena and said "Big mistake doll.." he growled, his back crouching as he looked at her and growled. His eyes went to Katie as he flew from the forest..and growled as he saw the lie in her eyes "Liar..Liars should never be able to bear pups..or find a mate...they deserve to die under my claws" he said with a growl. He saw a male, that looked like a son and smirked. He liked...Tai, Lena and Aleu- he thought that were beautiful..however he needed Aleu dead to be the lead of the pack. He growled as he looked at them and said "What a cute family..one day..you will all die under me..but one of the females.." he said looking from Lena..to Tai and said "Could rule beside me.." he smirked..

Katie's eyes widened, and immeadiately went hard. Looking to Aleu as he got by her and took a bit. "You're a sick wolf...Tell me, have you had any water trauma?" she looked to Kai, who started to circle one side, Katie taking the other. "You touch any of my family, I'll kill you in a split second! ESPECIALLY my daughters! she was about to lunge forward, when Kai leaped first, grabbing onto Niju's shoulder. He could taste blood for the first time...Seeing the crimson liquid run down his neck. Deep auburn eyes grew more furious as he sinked his canines in. Until...he let go with a tearing motion. He would stand straight and low, blood dripping from as he growled. Certainly Kai was a fighter, which made Katie smile.

Cachen however had a bit of difficulty swallowing the fact he saw so much blood, and couldn't stand to see anymore. He looked to Aleu "There's no time to put your shoudler back into place!" he yelled urgently, looking to Lena "Help me, would you? We have to get our aunt out of here don't we?" he was whispering now, ears pinned back.

Tai blinked, running behind her Father with a smirk. "Can I run faster? I'm your daughter! I can!" she would stop though, back up and run. A slight streak of red fur passed Kodi, bouncing and sharply turning by rocks and trees "Hurry up, Papa!" she grinned. Finding she really could something. And once more Tai let out that pretty little howl of hers, telling everyone she and Kodi were coming.

Aleu nodded to her nephew, she'd do her best to get out of here. She looked at the wound Niju had caused, her left shoulder was bleeding some but Niju's teeth hadn't gone too deep. Then something occured to her, had Niju meant not to go very deep or could he go deeper. "As a matter of fact, yes Niju probably has had some water trama, from swimming through the freezing water back to shore after abandoning his pack to die. Think I'd forget that Niju? My papa offered you your chance to take the pack to their new home, to be the alpha but you were too afraid of change so you ran to your old home with your tail between your legs!" Aleu smiled. "While I swam the other way, I did the right thing and helpped the pack to their new home, we're doing lovely by the way. You'd better take a good look at my sister-in-law, can you feel it? She is a lot stronger than she looks, so are her pups. You've already been injuried and the odds are just getting worse. My brother should be here soon. And from the looks of my shoulder, you're not as strong as you want us to believe. Makes sense considering how little food was left in the area when me and the pack left. You haven't had one good meal in that time have you?" Aleu then called to her niece. "Lena, don't buy into his mind games, Niju turned part of the pack against the others, they came back in the end but he knows how to work you, don't fall for it." she cationed. She forced herself to walk with her nephew, trying to get to the ajestent clearing. They made it through a bush and into the clearing. Aleu collapsed and rested a minute before continuing.

Kodi and Tai burst into the clearing, Kodi looked at Lena with a look of pure regret. He then switched to Niju, snarling. "If you've so muched as hurt one hair on my daugter's head, I'll tear your's clean off!" he yelled.

Lena was looking at Niju as if he was speaking into her mind. She took a step closer towards him, fear overcoming worry. She feared for her families, her friends and her own life, but her own life was way down the list. She was worried about her aunt who was the whole reason that Niju was here anyway. She sighed as she heard her brother but ignored him, this male was speaking to her in a way, speaking to everyone. She heard his thoughts, she had a gift. She looked at Aleu and walked over to her, helping her onto her brother's back before she went back to her mother and barred her ivories at the male before her..

Niju smirked as he saw Kodi and saw the resentment that Lena had for him. He heard Aleu and growled and said "Sweet Lena..join me..or." he turned to Tai and said "Join me.." he smirked. He wanted a female- one that Aleu loved and cared for..he could use it to his advantage, he heard the threat of Kodi and smirked as he turned to Lena and said "He lied to you, you will never be wanted.." he then turned to Tai and said "He thinks you aren't perfect..he hates the way you are for you are..he wants to give you to a human." he said with a smirk. He had heard all..he knows all
