Look, don't be hatin' because I think they would be an interesting couple. Yes, I know the age difference is large and the fact that Niju was such a jerk to Aleu in the first place, but things can change and who knows what could happen?
Besides, Niju isn't all that tough anyway, especially after how he got scared about moving. But now that Aleu has the pack on her side now (and there's a large river in between the two of them), even if he did find a way to follow the pack, he has no chance of winning a fight against her. So . . . he could join them, maybe?
Just an opinionated thought.

Ugh! The very thought makes me want to gag! Niju hated her, and Aleu seemed to have a strong distast for him too. Definatly NO!  I think they would never get along, and Balto would probably die if he saw Aleu and Niju married. yuk yuk yuk!

It's just that I see it differently than you do. Please don't be offended.  Oh, I'm not offended easily . . . so it's okay.
This is how I get my strange story ideas . . . . ^__^
I just think the drama between the two of them would be cool to see after Aleu matures into a full-fledged wolf leader (and Niju . . . is still Niju, but older).

There are some positive & negative things with Niju & Aleu together... 
Niju loves his land, Aleu seems she would love her land if she gotten used to it.
Thas the only positive thing I could think of....
My opinon on Aleu & Niju: "I unno."
