i like a lot of songs by them. even though i can never get my voice as high as Amy's...

It's so amazing how she controls her voice, and her songs are so beautiful...I don't think anyone could sing like anything close to her voice! And yeah, Everybody's Fool is a very very good song aswell as Going Under. But I think that Hello and Missing are their best songs! Especially on Amy Lee's part! (The lead singer)

Amy is more of an Alto, her voice doesn't go that high.

As for the part of controlling her voice, not really, she has great songs, and an attractive voice, but she isn't quite there yet with the subtle feelings and sounds she could put in it.

WELL I THINK SHE'S AND AWESOME SINGER GO AMY LEE! , lol, i think she's a realy good singer, and i do agree that she is an alto, but i don't think that an alto voice is the only one she has, i do think she can reach some saprano notes , but i do realy like evanescence, and they are my favorite band! .blackwolf was the one that introduced evanescence to me, so i wanted to thank her . My favorite song is My last breath

i like My Last Breath, except some of it doesn't make sense to me. i dont get the "hiding in a hollow tree" verse.

anyway, my favorite song by Evanescence is Bring Me To Life, and my second favorite is My Immortal. and i have to say that Tourniquet is a pretty good song too. i like the sound it makes in the beginning

what first got me interested in Evanescence was the movie Daredevil. i know that used Bring Me To Life in that movie, but i can't remember right now if they used My Immortal or not...

i havent heard anything from them in a long time. i liked the song called save me or something like that, i cant remember what it was called

i think you mean Bring Me To Life. it has the phrase "save me" in it many times

I agree with you even though I like her songs but she's not there yet and untill she gets a new gutairst she will never be but that is why I think Nightwish out matches her by so much she may not be very attractive but she has the most wonderful voise and she know how to contoll her voise better then any other and her music is so original and diffrent.

I like evanessence don't get me wrong but she needs to do some new stuff and not repetitive but yeah i like her and she rules.

You may have to listen to it a couple times. The words may sound like other words, but if you read those lyrics and then listen to the video, it might start to get clearer...lol
