I really do NOT like babies/little kids either. But then again, I absolutely despise houseguests.
I dub myself as "AB the Anti Social"

I like them from a distance.
I'm a teenager and yes, they are cute to look at but (please do not take this to heart) there is always the worry. Worry that when they go to school they might not come back. Worry that if you have a job of your own that they won't remember you and just remember the nanny. My mother has told me over and over again that she always worries about me an my brother, even though we a teenagers.
Anyway, I don't think I want children. Dealing with the worry is one thing but I want to live my life MY way. I want to get an important job that I love and make money for myself and my future husband or boyfriend to enjoy. I want to go on vacations whenever I want. I want to buy stuff for myself. I probably sound terrible and snobby but its true! I want to live life my way and I think that with children, I won't be able to do that.
So, from a distance. I like them from a distance.

Chill, please... 3/4 of that wasn't necessary, namely the sentences that end in caps.

Consider this a warning.

I find the whole concept of this topic to be utterly ridiculous.

After all, there are many teenagers here who are about as irritating as any screaming baby or bratty toddler.

And as teenagers, you people have little room to talk, as concerns parental issues. In time, if you actually mature, your views on children will likely change substantially. And until you are a parent, you cannot possibly comprehend why a normal, healthy parent isn't driven crazy by such things.

Talk about the "pot calling the kettle black". Sheesh.

Now that's a low blow. Everyone gets on our nerves sometimes. Whether it be babies, little kids, teens, adults, or seniors. There's no reason to point the finger at a certain group outside the one that the topic is about, same with any other topic. Yes, you may be annoyed by some teenagers. Good for you, so am I. But this is about younger kids, not teens. Therefore, irrelevant.
